  1. Joe. If you go by his "Handle", you just lost the bet.. 96' Beaver Monteray! That would be copper. Carl
  2. Got a little carried away! Or wishful thinking...I'm surrounded by them!
  3. Monaco Dynasty, pre 2006, Foretravel, pre 2004, Country coach, pre 2005, Holiday Rambler, pre 2005, Safari, pre 2005, Trek, pre 2005, Blue Bird any year, Prevost pre 2000 and there are a lot more out there! Carl
  4. Can't argue logic...if your looking for other places, sell the coach and go by car! The biggest freedom we have as owners of a RV, is that if you don't like your neighbors or surroundings get boring...un hook and move! Carl
  5. 4fmcalogin. Welcome to the Forum! Any photos? Carl
  6. Byron. I think the caster change was fairly recent... Carl
  7. Since 2003, Subaru has changed the caster and chamber on all their models...so, per Remco, they are not towable! The only exception is the Outback, it can be flat towed. Carl
  8. Big Mike, you're liable to get a bunch of folks! That's very nice of you, to do that. Thankfully this one ain't heading for Texas, I sure do feel for all the folks that are liable to get the effects of Matthews.. Carl
  9. Deen. You have my deepest sympathy! Been there and all I can say, it takes time, lots of time. Having the grandson, should help! I have been Class A coaches, since 1967, Charter GS Life, Escapees 201703, NRA Life, FMCA gets complicated because my DW kept her name and I traveled a lot, so she paid the bills...F 6328, mine is F 342963, not that it really matters. Send me a PM or check my profile for my mail add. anytime you need to talk! Carl
  10. TheKassman. 35' sleeps 4, R-Vision dropped the Class A line in 09' last coach built was 08...now they make trailers. There's one 05' for sale at PPL, $22,500. They where a good entry level coach, but like most manufacturers, got caught in the big Bank bang in 08'! Sorry, don't recall anymore. you can Google them. Carl
  11. So is the 2008, I went thru all the coaches there about 3 weeks ago! Went for the 06 Newell, but it got sold, sight unseen in Shawnee at 6 State Rally!
  12. I can dump my tag air, but no lift. Schnautz. ObedB is another "old" retired Trucker on this forum! Blake. Is that the front or back of a dog? I'm guessing standard poodle, looking for a post to mark.. Carl
  13. 427600. I towed a 2007 Chevy 2500 Silverado. 4x4, Duramax with Allison for 18 months all over the US and had no problem with it. I pulled it with a Allegro Bus 36' DP 2011, Blue Ox 10K, Brake master, Blue Ox base plate! Carl
  14. There is a very good video by Fire Guy...ask FMCA where you can watch it and make sure you try the escape plan, before you might need it! I would not ride in a coach, where the owner had no escape plan beyond the frond door!
  15. David, there is a 2014 Essex listed at http://motorhomesoftexas.com/, good price also! http://motorhomesoftexas.com/coachrv/newmar/2014--essex--45--C1916 Carl
  16. Also, new or used? Carl
  17. I would just pick one, call them and get all the information about lot ownership in each state that your interested in. From what I've seen, they run from $20K to $200K+! Good luck.. Carl
  18. No. I was told you had been to Cracker B. prior to leaving. I went to I-20E to get on Toll rd. 49S to Hwy 110S . I'm at TCC and found out I have some more damage than what photos showed, about $6,000 more! Carl
  19. I would think Prevost and Newell is superior to anything else! Regardless of length...
  20. Have to agree with BillAdam on this. Are you looking to re-locate? Vacation property? what? I'm confused.
  21. Bob, welcome to the Forum. I have stayed at the Miami Everglades RV Resort, nice park and 10 min. from Harbor. Easy to get in and out for any size rig...need to make reservation now! Feb is high season. Carl
  22. david. Thanks for checking back in! It was nice meeting you in Shawnee and hope to do so again. Safe travels. Carl
  23. schnautz. Welcome to the Forum! ! Looks, is probably 90% of why folks buy one and then discover what they have been missing in ride quality! The down side of a big coach is cost of maintenance, also you need to be aware of the does and don'ts when driving...you can't run it like you did your 36' and your in the truck stop when your fueling. Wider turns, especially in camp grounds! Be mindful of where your rear end and toad is at, at all times. Your stopping distance has increased expodentialy, due to weight and inertia! Enjoy your new ride.. Carl
