  1. Frank. Welcome to the Forum. In all the years that CC was in business, by it's self or under Monaco, it was recognized and still is as one of the best manufacturers of high end coaches! If your not experiencing any problems with it, why are you looking at another brand? If it has to do with a more modern technology, like "Bling", re model what you have. It's more cost effective! Look and read, all that you can find on this forum for the past 2+ years and you will discover that the Post 2011 coaches have a world of problems, regardless of cost or name brand! Also, look at what we, who answer most of the questions or give suggestions are driving...it's under our signatures. Carl
  2. Bill. It's back...I care not how I got here, just that it works! I hope that it recognize FMCA , Nope...still get a red line, for miss spelled...Why??? Carl
  3. Joe, Beer & Wine will do that to you! Like who's going to see it? Carl
  4. It is now 7:57 am and Todd is on, so I figure the plug is fixing to be pulled...
  5. What part of coach is the first picture from? Herman, I'm still having trouble deciding on wall paper or OSB, when I look at it again??? Carl
  6. Herman. If I remember correctly, you pulled out the nice, slightly cracked mirror and gave it back to the original owner...telling him, "don't worry we can fix that here, so you can get home to Deer Park, TX."! Amazing part was, he believed you! Joe, what? You will give up the warmth of the garage, and your buggy project...for the harsh, cold outside! Tremendous fortitude and commitment from a post 70's area youth...I'm in awe! Carl
  7. That's about the easiest way and it don't matter if it's DISH or DIRECTV, they both operate the same way! I use my bat wing for local channels, no reset, no un plug! That is so simple! Carl
  8. Lyle, what is your tank made of? Marine grade plywood is an option that I would look into asap. I have neVer had that problem...how much space do you have, if any, between tank and floor? Is there any angle iron that holds your floor in place?
  9. Good reason to replace...so have pipe and parts at hand, then try Pro 1....if it leaks, no problem! If it don't, then you still have everything on hand for future!
  10. Cooper Tires was originally made in Colorado and was considered one of the premium tires...now, don't know. I used to run Kelly's...good tire and price!
  11. Pull plug until it breaks connection, still holding plug, and re-insert. Works 90% of time. Call them, unless you don't need it for a week or never..
  12. If we go in-house, I'm all for it...If you need a week? Take it. I'll suffer thru the pain.. I might get something useful done! The program we are on now, gives me a "Red" line each time I type FMCA...if it does not recognize the party that pays each month...we don't need it ! Carl
  13. There are a lot of young families that RV, most are not affiliated with a club like GS or FMCA....so, young Joe, it is up to you and others to get the one's in coaches, to join FMCA. Now, if you, JohnJill and Keon/Hayes get together, why not start forming another chapter? I know, we have the under 60 taskforce, but that's not the answer...don't put a age limit on it, young or old, with kids or grandkids, that like to travel and do things together, that is of interest to the grownups and the kids! Carl (no kids)
  14. Joe, don't know about the east coast, but a lot off campgrounds in Texas, NM, LA and AZ., require a donut, to make an air tight seal. I like, like Tom have found that my screw in, will not seat properly or get stuck (guessing cross threaded), so, I use the donut ! Keon. Prior to 1990, I also used CH2O in my black tank. RV Manufacturers used it and then covered everything in plastic...when the RV sold, the plastic was removed. Sometimes in a hot/humid environment, it would bring me to my knees, tear me up and make me cough. The only place you'll get that now, is in a new FEMA trailer! We can't, the gov't can! Herman....Right on! Carl
  15. Joe, rust build up? Try spraying with your Pro 1...it, per you, brought back your original manifold, to it's pre use color! Carl
  16. What is hanging in the AC vents? rv2dan, what make and year coach are we looking at? Brett, at first I also thought like you. Kay. Agree with approach...in any event it''s not a small job. Got to find the cause.
  17. Goes right along with the question: How many miles do you drive per year? Both are silly, in regards to any form of non-commercial transportation! My opinion. Carl

  19. Thank you Joe! TMI, I may never eat Amish food again! I will bring my own from Texas.. Carl
  20. Herman. Well said ! You had your second cup..
  21. Ray. Welcome back to the RV learning curve...one time I was away from MH's for 4 years, crawl, walk, run, all over again! Carl
  22. Keon. Send a PM to Joe Leamonte. He's in PA. Under 45! I have been there and done that, in the late 60's and 70's, there was not many people traveling in Class A's. I found out that most chapters of FMCA , enjoyed having young owners....the "older members" felt I could learn from them. They where right ! So, find a chapter, find out where they are going next, make a RSVP and jump in...may be OK. If not, try the next chapter. That was my recommendation to Joe also! Carl
