Very popular place, straight down Hwy 85 from Buckeye, AZ to Border, then Mex 8 to Rocky Point (84k). Lot's of Condo's and houses, owned by Americans! I suspect prices have gone up.

I asked, because I honestly don't know! Remember, there is no "Dumb" questions on this Forum!

That's why, on long steep downhill runs, with engine brake on, I use my emergency blinkers, at speeds under the posted speed limit, mostly at 50 or less! For the benefit of cars.

Tiffen is tight lip. The New Aire 35' is 2.5 times the cost of OP's Red. I'm really confused...You got a new 2019 Red & you don't know what you got?!?

I would like to know what FMCA is doing to recruit new members?
manholt replied to wildebill308's topic in FMCA
Bill you might want to send an inquiry to Mr. Ball or Smith! -
Herman, do they still make B&W cameras?
-
Joe, it was a temp fix, Linda was going to install a residential, then a month later we where getting a new to us coach and yes, we did tell MOT about it, they took the 1200 out & put a dble door fridge in....it's now listed as sold! My AC Tradition is still on lot.
-
Yea, been there, done a lot of off roading in that area & there is no way I would take any coach there! We and later just me, would go in there for day trips! Wish I knew you can pan in that area!
-
Ross, tge?
-
If the toad brake system is AF! or M&G, it will not activate toad brake lights when using engine or exhaust braking in coach!
-
Here in TX they go to Progresso for implants, about 1/3 US price. Wayne, was that Porto Punesco (Rocky Point)? A friend had his 45 foot coach repainted there, 3 colors for $9,000...fantastic job!
-
Herman, I have 8 acres to move, if I feel lost or get lost I'll bump into a fence. 13 acres total. Have not called Linda for help yet LOL
-
Wayne you are correct, I was trying to be PC, not good at it. 🤣

Linda (my wife) found that on the 1200 that she had in her 2006 Phaethon 40' DP...both fuse's kept tripping, she replaced with 10a and no more problems. She and I traded both of our rigs in on the current coach in Feb and got married in May...extended due to Covid. Tim, my wife is on her (the new coach is in her name, marriage present from me) 6th coach in 37 years, makes me #18 in 54 years. T last none Residential fridge was on a 1997 Allegro! I think WBill is on his first Residential. We got a new to us Newmar about the same time.
-
jjWinnie. Welcome back. We would need some pertinent info. Year, make, model, length, of your coach? Do you have full body paint now, how many colors?
-
The fuse in the board is a inline 15 amp & should be a 25. $200 for a 10 cent fuse? OMG they saw him coming! When you remove the outside cover to get to LP heat element, off to the right side, there's a fuse there also, I think it's a stab in!
-
LOL, that's Linda & she reads it up side down! Only God knows, how she didn't get lost in Alaska!
-
Mahdi. Welcome! We use the AF1 system for a Expedition, when we tow it, behind our DP and never had your problem...who did the installation of your AF1? If you towed your Tahoe per Owners Manual instruction, then someone owes you the replacement cost of new tires! We also use the M&G system for towing our Modified Jeep...same as above, when you apply your breaks on coach you get equal brake on toad. Both systems run off air. We would really appreciate a feed back! Carl C

90% off the time, I hate GPS. Linda uses it all the time and if we where to follow it, we would still be trying to get home, from last year's trip to Canada!
-
Tim, thank you for reporting back, with solution!
-
Wayne. Tail of the Dragon, I wear that T-Shirt on occasion! Both way's on MC & in a Jeep...lot's of crosses on that curvy road.
-
I drilled #2 well on the Chicken Ranch! The operator was, Clayton Williams of Midland, TX. The Austin Chalk is shallow in the Giddings/La Grange area, good flow for 3-5 years, then nothing! Jim S. I forgot all about Prause! Linda will be so happy, next week when I stop there on our way to Galveston! Across from the Oak Motel, there is a wide spot in the road (Hwy 77) to park coach...walk 2 blocks to Market. Another one, is Weimer Meat Market. (Kasper's).

Everything Bill said, changes with the type of vehicle you tow. A 4x4 truck or 4x4 Jeep will set up differently than a 2 wheel drive!
-
Leahryan6969. Welcome to the Forum! What year and model Jeep unlimited? Are you leaving it, as it came from the Factory? Mine is a 2013 Jeep, 2 door and weigh over 4,100 lbs, modified. My wife also fills it with "must have's" and Golf clubs, etc. I would guess about another 500#! Fill up your coach with everything you will need on a trip, including full fuel and fresh water...go have it weight, then add your toad and those numbers will dictate if your over weight (GVWR) or not. If over, then your going to have to eliminate things in and under coach....or leave toad at home!

How do I Purchase Fuel without Dollar Limits
manholt replied to jeffdaley's topic in Type A motorhomes
Since my fill up is generally in the 120+ gal range (200 gal tank), we use the TDS card, even we go a lot on US Hwy's, we can swing off and find a Truck Stop that takes our card. Every 700+/- miles!
