  1. $1,200 a month? By Whom...that's insane, the most I have heard about is $5,000 for 3 years! I remember when you got the Newmar. You asked us a lot of questions back then and got a lot of what to do, not to do! Most went unheeded. There is always something to replace...like a re-built tranny or turbo, fuel pumps, etc., all high dollar items! If you had the replacement done at a AH dealer, I would take a copy off the itemized bill and send it to Aqua Hot. I'm hoping you got the original bid in writing.
  2. Flat tow? on a trailer or 4 wheels down? Why even have dolly if you can do 4 down? Confused & need more info!
  3. Most of us do not sit down & read contracts. I'm at fault there also, so I pay the $100 to my atty and he keeps me out of trouble! 😎

Bill, prior to trading in both coaches...fun. Not! Now we have one and it's about the same, but the 1 coach is also worth more than the previous 2 combined. We also carry replacement cost. Still with State Farm and they do have a separate rate for RV's, everything on coach is covered, it's not a Safeco Policy! State Farm also have our cars and trucks and trailers. When we get married, I'm moving both houses over to USAA.
  5. Gas rig or small DP. I asked about a unit on a Spartan K-3 chassis..They don't do them!
  6. I'm surprised...you do not have TPM's! How do you tell if you have a leak?
  7. Now we have all the paper goods we wan't or need. Shortage now is Yeast, flour!
  8. Interesting....the ratio of cases vs death's remain the same! What I also love, is the comparison to Italy...Of course we have more cases/death's in US compared to Italy! Italy has approx. 60 million people, the US about 328 million! Duh!!!
  9. Like any club. Someone has to step up to the plate and contact FMCA to get the ball rolling! Seems to me, no one wants to do that, they just want to join an established, by some one else effort, club...not going to happen!
  10. We have TSD. Now that we have a 200 gallon fuel thank and take 100-120 gal. per stop, it's handy not having to go inside, just swipe card & enter your code, fill up and go! Like FIVE and Wayne, we use a passive account that carries an avg of $1,000...we set it up with the bank, if it goes below $400 a transfer of $600 goes in automatically from another acct. a month ago, I used a Chevron truck stop and cash for 86 gal. at $1.469...Love's was across the Hwy. at $1.849 (they do inflate the price )...TDS price was $1.579! Buyer beware.
  11. Last I heard, the RV Geeks got a new Prevost by Marathon!
  12. We carry a water softener (Amazon, runs on table salt). My coach is 365/70 front & rest are 315/80. The chart say's 125 psi front, 85 psi drive & 115 psi tag!
  13. Puff, on my previous coach, I had 2, 2812 MAGNUM INVERTERS, they where in the compartment next to battery compartment (8, 6V), on a shelf above the coach electrical's. Each inverter had a 300A fuse...find it and you find inv. or go to buse bar and look for a #6 Gauge wire.
  14. Bill, I had NAPA AGM in my last coach...no complaints! My current Newmar has Lifeline, house and start. Never had them in a coach before, but have used them in the power boats and in one Cat Lagons 38'...never had an issue! All AGM's. We also can't justify the cost of Lithium, since we don't boondock.
  15. Newmar is also shut down!
  16. Yes, mine is 13' 4", the AC was 12' 3"! Overall length is still 47' 3".
  17. Puff, I n ow have one 2812 PSW Magnum & 8, AGM. I have everything in coach that I used to have in the AC Tradition and a Colman freezer in bay, that I didn't have in AC...all works fine! When we get some time, I'll disconnect power and see how long the fridge works! Right now it's 96 degrees for the second day & linda would not be happy if I turn ed off AC's!
  18. Brian, my last coach was a 2010 AC Tradition 45Y, the original owner as it turned out, did not take good care of the coach house portion...the K2 chassis, Transmission and engine was at 27,000 miles in 2014, just as good as it is now (unless it's been sold), with 109,000 miles! No problem finding parts. IMHO it's a great coach! I thought you would never depart with "Doris"! If your asking for a friend, we would still answer!
  19. I have the updated IXS600, DPF & DEF ! Thanks EPA, we love you! Most engines had to have the DPF in 2007, DEF in 2010. If you call Cummins Hot Line and give them the engine #, they'll tell you the build date & if you have the ceramic or metal injectors.
  20. ray, there are several companies that will cover you on the road, then minimal or no coverage when your home in garage. They only charge for usage, because most house insurance cover what's in garage also! You can also get an umbrella coverage, used to be $250 a year per million...don't know what it is now. Our insurance on new to us coach, went up $1,000 per year, we have replacement coverage for $350k, last coach was for $190k...Still have State Farm!
  21. Where the arm overlaps the device that moves in the vertical slide, is that a hole for a allen wrench?
