American Coach Heritage 07-08 parts/service
manholt replied to blaseyholt's topic in Type A motorhomes
Last I heard, the RV Geeks got a new Prevost by Marathon! -
We carry a water softener (Amazon, runs on table salt). My coach is 365/70 front & rest are 315/80. The chart say's 125 psi front, 85 psi drive & 115 psi tag!
-
Puff, on my previous coach, I had 2, 2812 MAGNUM INVERTERS, they where in the compartment next to battery compartment (8, 6V), on a shelf above the coach electrical's. Each inverter had a 300A fuse...find it and you find inv. or go to buse bar and look for a #6 Gauge wire.
-
Bill, I had NAPA AGM in my last coach...no complaints! My current Newmar has Lifeline, house and start. Never had them in a coach before, but have used them in the power boats and in one Cat Lagons 38'...never had an issue! All AGM's. We also can't justify the cost of Lithium, since we don't boondock.
-
Newmar is also shut down!

Yes, mine is 13' 4", the AC was 12' 3"! Overall length is still 47' 3".

Norcold Double Door Fridge Not Working
manholt replied to Kevin510's topic in Systems and Appliances
Puff, I n ow have one 2812 PSW Magnum & 8, AGM. I have everything in coach that I used to have in the AC Tradition and a Colman freezer in bay, that I didn't have in AC...all works fine! When we get some time, I'll disconnect power and see how long the fridge works! Right now it's 96 degrees for the second day & linda would not be happy if I turn ed off AC's! -

Brian, my last coach was a 2010 AC Tradition 45Y, the original owner as it turned out, did not take good care of the coach house portion...the K2 chassis, Transmission and engine was at 27,000 miles in 2014, just as good as it is now (unless it's been sold), with 109,000 miles! No problem finding parts. IMHO it's a great coach! I thought you would never depart with "Doris"! If your asking for a friend, we would still answer! -
😂ROFLMAO !!!

I have the updated IXS600, DPF & DEF ! Thanks EPA, we love you! Most engines had to have the DPF in 2007, DEF in 2010. If you call Cummins Hot Line and give them the engine #, they'll tell you the build date & if you have the ceramic or metal injectors.

ray, there are several companies that will cover you on the road, then minimal or no coverage when your home in garage. They only charge for usage, because most house insurance cover what's in garage also! You can also get an umbrella coverage, used to be $250 a year per million...don't know what it is now. Our insurance on new to us coach, went up $1,000 per year, we have replacement coverage for $350k, last coach was for $190k...Still have State Farm!

Where the arm overlaps the device that moves in the vertical slide, is that a hole for a allen wrench?
-
Puff, you have to call Sirus and set up an account, the receiver is your radio. You should have info on it, along with radio #'s in your papers! You reminded me to xfer our paid for 2 years account to new coach!
-
Better now, during the COVID-19 than later I suppose! Since you have the # to Spartan, I would call them first & find out if it pertains to your chassis!
-
The OP's Coach is a 2011, that's 9 years and maybe less, depending on when he bought it. Like Puff's 2019 Entegra, the warranty started the day he bought it in 2020! ESC goes by purchase date, not build date. Out of all of them I like Wholesale the best, never had them on any coach, but did have them on my race boats...also had Progressive, between the too they saved me a lot of $$$, but they where expensive to begin with. Between the 2, you could buy several Cadillac's a year! In 53 years, all my class A coaches has been self insured. I'm way ahead.

The truck is a right hand drive Citroen 55U Truck, the trailer was custom built for a French Circus, by Pinder another French company! Not been able to come up with engine or tranny info, but guessing it was gas! The roads in France was primarily dirt, even in Paris! Citroen UK had diesel engine trucks in 1936...Citroen cars in France had diesel, but no trucks, from 1909-1976.
-
Puff. I would call Entegra & ask for Customer Service...get Verification! I do not trust RV Country! The first 2 years of warranty is by the Brand. MHO.
-
Dr, who was the current provider? Did it pay for it's self? If your happy with your current one and your wanting to extend for peace of mind, stay with them! IMHO, if it didn't break since you got the coach, I would self insure!
-
Herman, Factory codes are made to be easy...Look at all the Rocket Scientist's that work on the coach, just after it leaves the line!
-
Look under Carl C. My signature.
-
Joe, I saw it too...gutted out, it will take deep pockets to restore it...what a ride that would be!
-
Wayne...The ignition got to be on to do ours, so no! On Puff's, I don't know!

Bill is right about saving time, sometimes Posters get upset because we don't answer in time...if we had all the info, we could. Again, welcome! -
Brian, what happened to the other AH and was it a 400 or 450?
-
Puff, I'll ask her when she is finished remodeling the bays! LOL
