  1. It's been a long time since I had a coach small enough to park in a campground in Yellowstone. I believe we stayed in Grant Village, 30 amp. Back then the coach was a 31 foot class A, 96" wide with no slides. We used 2 Honda MoPed's, 80 cc to get around...you got bikes & I have been told, other means of transport is available. With 10 million visitors a Summer, I suggest you reserve space now! We will be there, next June for a week, but staying outside of Park & using toad.
  2. Yesterday was 62, now 42. Today 62/31, then 63/35, thru Monday 68/45. Burnet was 52/22, today 52/25, then 57/28...the north wind at 15/20 is what makes it feel cold. ☃️ Wayne, anytime. Just Text or PM me for direction...we'll be here until 1/7/20!
  3. Joe, very tidy and clean, how many tooth brush heads a year? You missed your calling, you'd make any DI proud.
  4. We all thank you for the TMI..🤣
  5. Joe, OP said replacement...does that mean something else like the LE? Or a LE that he has?
  6. CharlieIam. Looked at them. IMHO, it all depends on what kind of door you have. Mine is air lock, like a airplane door, I will replace mine but I will go by the recommendation of builder. Due to the home on wheels is a "rolling earthquake", I don't trust a deadbolt...I can't go out a window like Herman and walk away. In a emergency? Yes & then to ER!
  7. I would think that if you "Twist" a coach bad enough to pop your windshield...you better take a good look at all seems and caulking! Alignment of slides & how the other windows are seated. Also under chassis and Jacks! OP was IMHO making a statement of what he did & that he fixed it. Not really asking for info from us.
  8. mh3860sh. Welcome back! On the beach? Wash coach every month or so, top, sides and under chassis. Fog is fog, like any place.
  9. Probably only needs to be re zeroed. Since they already tried to take you to the cleaners for $6,000, I'm surprised you still trust them! Just make sure your on a level surface to begin with & your pad has light. I use a paved parking lot or my garage, if home. You should have the info in your owners manual, if not then go on Internet and find your model, there are many vidios showing how to re set to zero. Mine would not work for you, mine are more Heavy Duty...57,000+ lbs!
  10. dfj. Welcome too the Forum! We need make, model of coach, along with more battery info.
  11. It's not like Tim, not following up on his Posts...He's been a member of this Forum since August of 2009! Something is not right..
  12. OK! It's a month since this was Posted. Thank you Eric & Rich for the Links! I have 2 ME2812's...one bank was working, the other not...I followed all the steps in the Links and after 30 hours, was ready to buy a new one...it was inverting, but not charging & we're at the fish camp on 50 amp, nothing wrong with shore power (we have 3 different 50 amp) and I tried them all. Then when Linda said, forget it...I remembered the one thing I didn't look at. On the side off the inverter there is a black CB and it was out, I reset it and after about 30 sec, steady green light...Inside the coach, the controller showed inverting & charging, Bulk 13.8 amp at +124 A. Now, 3 hours later, Absorb 14.1 at +17! Oh Happy day! DD69. I agree with you, Float should be 13.1 at 5 amp!!! 45 is Bulk or Absorb...So, perhaps a bad cell? Over charging? Too all of you and yours, Merry Christmas and Joy!
  13. Jason. Welcome to the Forum! You should have a "Salesman Switch" inside coach, close to door on Co-Pilot side, may or may not be marked. Mine is the only toggle switch in coach! In most coaches, it's easy to accidentally turn off, by you or a dog. Can you start the coach & Generator?
  14. Ray, I would never put that on my steering wheel
  15. Happy, Happy! Merry Christmas.
  16. We got in at 3 pm..AC on, it was 81...now at 8:45 pm it's 66. Ernie, enjoy your Rally & Merry Christmas! If you want to come to a Lone Star Rally, we'll be at Coffee Creek RV Park, Feb 13-16, 2020...Just down the road from your Hill.
  17. We will see you at the tire seminar! Herman, we'll be there the 24th, 50 amp Handicap!

    Odd Tire Wear

Pop, that "expert" is pure nuts!!! All summer, I had 115 in my front tires and 110 in the other 6...I was close to max weight. 7 weeks ago, after removing a bunch of stuff that we carried but didn't use, I had my coach weight again and per the chart, I now have 110 psi on steer tires & 100 on the other 6, rides smooth! Tread. We do not go by tread, sidewalls will go long before the tread does...time to change is normally 6/7 years! You should be looking at new tires in 2020, please get new front tires NOW! Merry Christmas!
  19. FIVE, what's your tranny? Mf. Welcome to the Forum! FIVE is right, we need more info, including make of leveling system, coach, DP or Gas? Merry Chrstmas to you all.
  20. Bill, we have 3 acres & a barnominium, with 3 full 50 amp hook up's, 4 miles west of town. It's 10/15 degrees warmer than Burnet.
  21. Wayne, you got a heat wave compared to us..7:55 pm & 47, going to 42 tonight. We decided to go to our camp in Three Rivers tomorrow instead of Sat or Sun! There it's 68 an hour ago and 63 in AM. DB, wash under that coach before you put it away!
  22. Mike, if your floor is cement, put cardboard under tires. Also use your Jacks to level coach, it does not hurt the jacks!
  23. SACIL. Welcome to the Forum! What system do you have? HWH or Lippert?
  24. Mike, all my awnings are elect. except one (I did not want to pay $2,100 for a 14' window awning), that's why I have a awning rod. It collapses into 14"! Linda found it at CW, in Kathy!
  25. We decided on ham...we are heading south Saturday for a month...Three Rivers, Tx.!
