The only reason to carry some extra items for a DP, is it isn't always in stock and it's got to get there by plane or boat. In other words, shipping cost is a bunch.

I would venture to say that 1/3 of the people on this Forum has been to Alaska by coach at least one's! I been there 2x and will be back in summer of 2021. My fiance has been there 2x as well, once driving a gas coach, once driving a DP! Alaska has big hwys and freeways now, just as you'll find here! I would have no second thought about taking your coach there...have the coach serviced before you go, carry a extra serpentine, couple of fuel filters, air filter...make sure your tires are in good "side wall" shape and less than 5 years old...go have fun!

Jim S. You can request the 4311 on the other coaches, we know one who got the King Air for his son & another for himself.
-
Ray, I use NAPA AGM 6V, free shipping to store..I paid $300 to have my old ones removed and new ones installed, all 8 of them!
-
I remember the Allstar...I wanted the toy floorplan, never could find one! Newmar will put in the handicap floorplan in any of their DP units!

Travel to the FMCA Convention: Tucson 2020

Don, If we see one, you'll hear about it...promise! 😂 -
Yes, welcome & happy new year.

Have you looked at ignition switch? 13.4 to 5.4 is a big draw! If the switch is good, move on to solenoid.

Comparing Coach Net, Good Sam & FMCA Roadside Assistance Coverage
manholt replied to huffypuff's topic in Roadside Assistance
Ray, I must have missed something! Mobil service for tire replacement & we pay for tire, was what originally put GS RA on the map! I can't see where Mobil Serv. has gone up enough to justify the added amount per year! -
Looking for recommendations on RV parks in Flordia

RayIN,, the Lake "O", is part of the Intracostal Watereway, not State but Corp of Engineers. -
I seem to remember a NEXUS Bentley, class A, DP, back about 8 or 10 years ago. Like the Entegra, they where bragging about the ride, comfort, quiet, like the car it was named for! I think the model was made for a couple of years. Then it was dropped & now is back. Just did some checking...NeXus, came out in 2010, it was sold off to Spartan Motors in Jan of 2019, then most of the Stock was acquired by Lerner Ind. in Sep 2019! The name change from NeXus to Nexus happened after 2017...The Bentley comes in 2 models, 34' and 38', Spartan K1 chassis, Cummins 360, Allison 3000, FIS.

I had to remove the pad from inside coach, then the screws for the box. The "flickering of the ATC for 1/2 houre", suggests a loss connection or bad ground. not fuse.

I don't think so, but then that's one item, I always keep on hand. If memory serves me, I have used GS for a dozen or more blown tires, blown Transmission & tow, blown manifold gasket & tow, engine fire & tow! Net coach. Used one time for a awning that blew off & took about 20% off siding with it & tow! I only wish I remember, how I got in touch with GS to get service...75% of the above, we had no cell phone or computer and Al Gore had not invented the internet yet. Think 1967, first coach to mid 1980's!
-
Mid FL. east coast...I would go with Joe L. West coast, like Brett, none needed. Central, depends on where!
-
DB, you got the T-Shirt for 2019! 😂
-
As Joe L. can attest to, mine is laying horizontal, under the bed..

What happened to OP?

Ian, your result's are normal. Most of mine, since 1970's with Good Sam, has been problem free..at most a 3 hour wait. Last time I had a flat on coach, GS wanted to tow me to a garage in Houston, 80+ miles, I was 2 miles from Livingston, TX. Told them local...NO! I cancelled and called #311, that's DPS (hwy Patrol) LEO was there with tire truck in about 15 minutes, new tire & on my way $400+, same as GS road service would have cost me! Today, I'm not going to change a 315/80/22.5 myself...Joe L is 30 years younger than me & has the tools! I see his point. Factor, interesting read...CLUE, never heard about it...sponsor by Progressive.

Rumor has it that all the majors are betting on the 5G, even though the US & most other Govt's say NO! Not any time soon!
-
When I zoomed in...to me it looked like #12 on Right & #8 on Left. Sure would help to know what kind of RV this ATS is in?
-
Factor, since you don't have or had any form of RV....Scroll up & read my initial reply! You can have separate RS, no guarantee, you'll get what you need, when you need it.

pann25. Welcome to the Forum! I would call a Tour Bus company in your area for info. Professional Driver, Insured and Bonded...Like a new coach delivery, they can't use your coach facility's. You got to pay for the Service, Fuel, Motel & Food, also you need an add on "Rider" to your Insurance. Service alone, about $1.80-$2.20 per mile & Air fare back. Why not do it your self & fly back?
-
If it's on recall, then no purchase is needed...they take yours & you get the correct one back...Free!

Air Force 1 vs Roadmaster Brakemaster Systems
manholt replied to punxsyjumper's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
jon48. Welcome to the Forum! Happy NY.😀 When I switched over to the M&G, I had/still have the invisa system. Just pull the plug on it...mine was a PIA to take out, so we left it in. Where are you located? If your going to the winter convention in Tucson in March, call M&G and ask if they'll be there? Otherwise they are located on Hwy 19, a mile north of loop, Athens, Texas! -
Herman, that would be WildBill, no clue why! Wayne, have your friend look at Blue Wave Storage...50'x20'x16' interior dimension. I had one for 3 years with 30 amp!
