I have not. Tried several products and replacing the pins in the connector is where I always ended up. hopefully someone else can chime in with a successful story and product.

Great research! All of those very reasons are extremely important to us as well. Its shocking how many systems are not fully proportional.

Bill, I ran them out west on many occasions with the old coach and a few times through the Allegheny mountains here from a dead stop, with toad on some back roads. On an interstate they will have momentum, I would usually loose that after a 2 mile pull.

Our class C gasser would run up over mountains quite impressively. Back then we didn’t tow a car but I did have an inclosed trailer behind us often times which had NO aerodynamics.

What’s surprises me, with low oil level it wouldn’t allow it to extend all the way out and you would hear the pump empty the reservoir. Coasting out while closed doesn’t make sense as that’s when the Reservoir would have the most fluid in it.

I must admit I have tried several products over the years and this one has done us well, it’s not expensive and available at most automobile parts stores (chains). My wheels were so bad I bought a polishing cone for my cordless drill and applied it with that and buffed it off with a towel. Just be careful with any powered applicators, start off slow or the product will be all over you including your hair

I went the other route as my sockets were worn and those tubes were costly. After a trip I had to walk around and wiggle the tubes to get them to turn on if we wanted all of the interior lights to work.

larcar, have you considered swapping them out for LED? When we bought this coach it had several lights out inside and failed ballasts. I found it more cost effective to do an LED conversion at that time than fussing with the existing light bulbs and ballasts. The LED strips were so bright I only needed one where there was two florescent bulbs.

My DW keeps a spreadsheet rolling with all household expenses, the RV has two lines, one for the payment and one for parts etc. Fuel gets tracked via the credit card it went onto (just in case of a dispute), we don't usually track fuel once its put in the tank. I will run a MPG calculation off of the calculator in my phone and clear the trip odometer and its forgotten about. Receipts get tossed once the statement arrives and its checked for accuracy.

I have had them clog and water pressure dramatically reduced. How old or long was the filter in service?

YES, it should stay closed. You have a leaking cylinder (internally) or a valve hanging slightly open. If you are capable of taking it apart, remove the pump and cylinder and take them to a hydraulic repair shop, they can test both and determine the cause, most will also be able to repair it.

nurseruth90, Welcome to the FMCA Forums! Our manual calls out retracting the slides with severe weather. Now comes the part up to interpretation, whats severe weather? If the winds are over 25 mph in a storm we close them even if we are inside.

This is common on that chassis with 19.5 tires. The issue is the suspension is spring (not air) and the 19.5 tires have an very stiff side wall, some will argue that they are stiffer than a 22.5 since the construction is very similar BUT the wheel is much closer as the side walls are shorter. As mentioned tire pressures and shocks will also play a part. Shocks if too loose it will porpoise and make you sea sick driving it. This could very well be the "nature of the beast' so to speak. Our last coach would break apart on a cross county trip, I was always replacing sheared off hardware somewhere on the body. The roads in the US are getting better but are still in poor condition.
