This is all Michelin has to offer in your size; I cannot imagine there would be any issue with this tire. There are not many manufactures with this size tire. Michelin, Toyo (TOYO Model M144) were the only two I could locate in a brief search. Continental, BF Goodrich, Firestone and Bridgestone didn't offer this size.

Roadseyeview, can you verify it’s a Michelin XIZ?

We are on the line for this storm, I am hoping it tracks north, if so it will miss us, believe me we will not miss it !

The issue, My wife loves to explore those stores, something about stationary. She is also big into Scrap booking so this could get expensive, at least ill save a few $$ now

Good to know! Thanks Herman.

What is the process at the register to get the FMCA discount or does this only work on-line?

I am currently shopping for a replacement ATS WITHOUT EMS. We have the the original IOTA that was installed in July 2001. No issues with it but its time for an upgrade. I did get information from one of the forums electrical experts, looking for any real world experience. Anyone have a preferences, past experiences etc? Our coach is a 50 amp with a 7500 Watt Generator. This so far is the runner up due to its reviews on the web seem very positive; https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/electrical-plumbing-lp-gas/rv-electrical-systems-and-accessories/transfer-switches/transfer-switches-110-volt-automatic_ES50M-65N?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1qHA99iI3wIVUUwNCh1zqAOnEAYYASABEgJ9d_D_BwE I prefer to use the portable EMS on the tower vs one built in. Our coach had a progressive system hardwired that I removed when I realized it wasn't working as it should.

Things I would like to see from Factory
jleamont replied to TimeTraveler's topic in Type A motorhomes
I believe they are more centered for a few reasons. Passenger can adjust the radio and radios are often used while parked as well as in route somewhere. If my radio was in the dash wrapped around me when parked it could be a nuisance to access especially with the remote that is kept in the dining area. I believe it needs a line of sight to pick up the signal. Post some photos of your layout. -
Yeah, but good information in that post for someone troubleshooting a similar system. Makes you wonder if the OP figured his out?

TTRV, see if there is a place that you can mail yours to and have it repaired. Probably just the injector driver portion that has failed. Fairly common on CAT due to heat, couple that with an RV application and low air circulation around it to keep it cool and failures become more common. It would save you from any programming also.

I did that many times with our boat and coach. We don't have them now, the hardest part was lining it up to get to the boat launch. The boat and trailer was 32' (plus the out drive) and the coach was 31' long, if the launch area was tight it became a real pain quickly.

D ick, not much different on an Aquahot vs what you built! Here is a video on how Aquahot works; http://www.aquahot.com/products/rv.aspx
-
Usually the difference is in the programming, like maximum speed for cruise control vs pedal could be different, exhaust brake function could be programmed different. Nothing that once its up and running the dealer couldn't customize to your preferences. This is all assuming they both are 3126E's. When I worked at the dealership, I would keep a box of known good different modules, many times I would pull from the box to get something started in the parking lot and drive it into the building. If you have ever tried to push a motorhome you can understand why. Back in those years you could do that. Once the newer technology came along it wasn't so easy and eventually turned almost impossible as many differences came along and all of the modules were eventually coded as a group, once one "stranger" was introduced, nothing worked.
-
If it is a 3126 engine I’d swap them over. The worse that could happen is it won’t start.
-
Roland, that view is beautiful!! Carl, I could see why you would call it that, certain times of the year I bet its pretty bad there!

Good to know and thank you for posting this.

For the price of a radiator cap (usually under $20.00) just replace it. Keep us posted on how this unfolds.

WOW, now that is neat! Again...NICE WORK!

Deasnely, what year is your coach? I just replaced the pump on our ISL400 heres the link; I Do not know if this pump also fits your engine. I will say the an aftermarket pump is not likely to be an updated design if these is one available from Cummins. I had a friend replace his pump on his coach at a campground over the summer and the aftermarket pump he purchased was new, but was the original Cummins design from 4 pump models ago.

Refrigerator cooling solution "gelled"
jleamont replied to DJSafariCoach's topic in Systems and Appliances
We had the same model in our last coach and ran it as cold as 10 degrees outside and never e experienced this situation. I will say since I saw this post and doing some research it’s not uncommon. Some models have a cold weather package that was an option from what I have read. Of course there was no description of what this package consisted of. If it were me I’d reach out to Dometic and ask them. In the meantime I’d shut it down and move the food to a cooler outside. I wouldn’t recommend altering the unit without consulting the manufacturer. Dometic customer support;- 26 replies

That's common with all Coaches, none of them are aerodynamic. The bus my wife drives has 6th gear locked out and its up against the governor at 63 MPH and just tipping red on the tach.
-
If not said already, Welcome to the FMCA Forums! Rich, love the bus and I love the work/upgrades and the quality of your detail is also fantastic! What year is the bus, what engine is in it and how does it cruise on the highways? My wife drives a school bus and they aren't typically geared for highway commutes, or I should say the one she drives isn't.

Ohhhh wow!! Couldn't have the courtesy at the minimum use the correct gauge wire let alone heat shrink butt connectors (which I am not a fan of either). That looks like a campground repair that was forgotten about.

I have stayed here the summer of 2016 for a week. I saw you were price conscious so this might not be the best option for you but it was Beautiful and will give you something to look at. https://www.myakkamotorcoachresort.com/
