If it is not possible to move the base over to center it, the post can be cut and rewelded in the correct alignment and the base remounted in it's original position. We have done this several times in our business over the last 30 or so years. Early Pace Arrows were famous for this.

On most applications, the brake lights come on when the exhaust brake is energized. The reasoning is that it is the same as if you applied the brakes. I have worked with the manufacturer of wiring harnesses that supply Spartan and Freightliner. Most likely the trailer brake control needs to be activated only when the brake pedal is pushed. May require a separate switch.

Fresh Water Tank Has Crack In It
desertdeals69 replied to rrlowther's topic in Water and Holding Tanks
That sounds a bit steep. The tank must be buried and a lot of coach dismantled. Is the leak in a place you can see? We have done plastic welding on lots of tanks. The trick is to figure out what stress caused to crack or what ever because if that is not corrected the weld may fail also. -
I have been using Centramatic balancers for about 10 years with good results. I have 22.5 Alcoa wheels in all positions. Before that I would spin balance each wheel on my computer balancer but that of course does nothing about the unbalance of the drums. I do use the spin balance machine to check the truness of the wheel and tire.

If you want to run HDMI to the back you can go through the cabinets or down the windshield pillar and under the floor to the rear then up through a cabinet. I have a complete separate system in the bedrood so I didn't have to run HDMI to the rear. This allows me to have totally different programing in the rear. I live in Lk Havasu City do you?

We do like motorhomers etc. here in Lake Havasu City. Not much we can do about city ordinances. We had an RV repair business for 30 years here. Had you looked in the FMCA directory you would have notice my name as a mechanics helper. If you would have called me I would have invited you to my driveway which has full hookups.

Might check the pump mounting. The screws can't be to tight on the rubber feet. You need a complete loop of soft hose on each side of the pump.

Where Do I Get Fresh Water?
desertdeals69 replied to prairieschooner's topic in Water and Holding Tanks
Rest stops with dump stations have fresh water available and those without usually have fresh water available although your hose may need an adaptor to hook up. Fuel stops such as Pilot, Flying J, Loves have water also. -
Its called passport.

Towing Chrysler Town & Country Minivan
desertdeals69 replied to howdydoody1's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
It might need to be 4 wheels up if it is awd. -
We have towed a 99 silverado coast to coast, border to border over 80k miles without a problem.

Is the body really twisted or tilted to one side? Twisted is when the front corners are not parallel and in line with the back corners. Tilted is when the body is lower on one side than the other. If the frame is level is the floor level? If it is not then leveling the floor to the frame is in order. If you tilt the frame with air bags or spring changes, you could upset the handling of the coach.

There is a tool which is available from Sealand/Dometic. It a looks like a flexable tongue depressor with roughness on one side. I have used it about every 4 or so months of toilet use. Problem solved.

Onan 6.5 Emerald Plus. Makes Clanking Noise On StartIing
desertdeals69 replied to chashenry's topic in Electrical
Does the gen crank and run? It sounds like the starter pinion is broken. Its made of plastic and breaks somewhat frequently. Unless you are driving, the fridge will kill the batteries before morning. -
When mine was changed out they scraped off all of the old sealer and then applied the new sealer from a caulking gun, it resembled black silicone. Fit was better than the factory original. Trim is almost perfect. Company was RV Solutions but they use local contractors. The contractor in Elkhart which replaced the defective new glass was very good. He came back two more times to make the trim rubber perfect.

I'm not sure what your question is. If the new windshield is replaced the same way as the original one was and you hit a speed bump the same I would suspect the same break would occur. This is because of body flex. Two piece windshields are a little more forgiving because of the center joint. As far as the warranty from the installer goes, they cover water leaks and defective glass. I had both of my windshields replaced at the Madison FMCA convention and two days latter I noticed a delam on one of the pieces. I called and had it replaced in Elkhart the next day.

Pilot Road Ranger stations do not honor the rv card.

More important than the low milage is how it was stored, inside with heat or? and what part of the country. As for mileage it depends on the engine type. Diesel will get better mpg than gas. You will probably get about the same as your class C with gas. I drive a 32 ft with a Cummins ISB towing a Silverado p/u and averaged 11 mpg this year 6000 miles.

Check voltage at the non working light fixture. If there is 12 volt present then the fixture is bad.

I would retest it with another voltmeter of known quality such as a Fluke. Inexpensive meters sometimes are fooled by inverter output. Just a thought.
