    Broke Bulb

Thats exactly how we do it in our shop.
  3. East Penn has replaced Johnson Controls as the supplier for all Sams Clubs as of a couple of months ago. Before that it was split, East Penn in the east and Johnson Controls in the West. There are no Sams Clubs in Oregon.
  4. Now that East Penn batteries are in all Sams Clubs across the country, not just in the east, they are a good choice. More of their batteries are made in the US. Some Sams Clubs have the AGM golf cart battery for $179.97.
  5. Exactly where did you locate the egt thermocouple. That makes a difference in the temp reading. The last one I did it was about 2 inches after the turbo and the hottest I have seen it is about 1050. I just completed an AirDog lift pump install on my new to me 98 Fleetwood Discovery. As the lift pump had failed and the previous owner still drove it, I had to change the VP44 pump also. Drove 1900 miles last week and it ran good.
  6. I would swap the rear solenoids and see if the problem stays or moves to the other side. If it stays it could be a kink in the tubing restricting the flow.
  7. With the Tire Minder that reads on your smart phone you just tap on the screen to read toad only and thats all you see. The phone should always be with you.
  8. I don't know. Its only a 36 ft so I should have plenty of capacity. I am going to weigh it the first chance I get. It drives great. I just did my maiden trip of 1900 miles to Indiana to the paint shop and left it there until the 2nd week in Jan.
  9. Its not only the rv industry but the main reason that FASS and Air Dog were developed was the need for help on Dodge pickups with Cummins engines and they only have a few feet to pull fuel.
  10. I moved the center mounted propane tank back one section and moved a cross member ahead 6 inches and it fit perfect. I will be at the Chandler FMCA in March if you want to see the installation.
  11. I just installed a second 90 gallon fuel tank and a Air Dog lift pump with a 1/2 inch fuel line. It is capable of pumping 150 gph and supplies 15 psi to the injector pump. I also changed the VP44 injector pump as the new to me 98 Discovery had been run without the lift pump functioning. I drove it 1900 miles last week and it ran good.
  12. I prefer not to drive in rain, and yes it did not rain all the way. They still worked fine, for how long who knows.
  13. I found 28 inch blades at Walmart for $3.88 each. They seem to work fine, just went 1900 miles last week.
  14. I use both Tire Minder and the oem tpms on my Prius when I tow it on the dolly. I have 2 transmitters on the tow dolly and 2 on the rear of the car. Works just fine.
  15. I'm planning on going and am looking forward to the forum meet and greet.
  16. One possibility is to replace the round dish mount with a batwing off air antenna, should fit in the same holes.
  17. I just installed a new micro/ convection in my new to me coach. I had a Sharp over the range which was the standard 30 in width. I wound up getting a Samsung micro/convection. I cut a hole in the outside wall and put a vent cover on it. The oven can be set up to recirculate the vent air inside but I re-oriented the blower motor to exhaust out the back.
  18. I just bought diesel at Sams Club in Oklahoma City for $1.91/gal. The pump posted 5% bio. My biggest problem is that the pump shuts off at $100. It took 107 gallons to fill so had to restart the pump 3 times.
  19. The last time I replaced a motor I went to Auto Zone and looked at the pictures of door window motors. It turned out to be a Ford LTD drivers side 1989. It cost $43 last summer.
  20. Back in the 70's I had a Toyota station wagon that I towed flat. I had built the tow bar and to test it I towed it behind my pickup truck. I was surprised that I could back it up and the front tires tracked ok in reverse. I was in a parking lot and was doing s turns going backwards. My Silverado that I now tow will only back up straight.
  21. Call Fleetwood with your model and they will explain or send you a wiring diagram.
  22. The multi camera systems that I have used on my motorhome have 4 camera monitor. You can switch to any one of the cameras or see 2 or all 4. I have never installed the front camera but the systems I have been installing are made for commercial applications like garbage trucks.
  23. Make sure the model you pick has warranty when installed in a motorhome. I installed one in mine and when I bought it the salesmen told be it would be OK. I even called the factory to see if I could disable the auto defrost when running on the inverter. They said no. At 7 months use the compressor locked up. Called the factory and they told me no warranty because it was installed in a motorhome. Good thing they record all calls to the factory because I had them look it up and if there was no warranty because it was in a motorhome they should have told me then and I would have taken it back to Lowes. They did cover it and credited Lowes so I got my money back.
  24. What transmission? I tow a 1500 Silverado with a 5 speed and v6. I don't think that configuration is still available. If you have a 4 wheel drive it should work.
