  1. Make sure the model you pick has warranty when installed in a motorhome. I installed one in mine and when I bought it the salesmen told be it would be OK. I even called the factory to see if I could disable the auto defrost when running on the inverter. They said no. At 7 months use the compressor locked up. Called the factory and they told me no warranty because it was installed in a motorhome. Good thing they record all calls to the factory because I had them look it up and if there was no warranty because it was in a motorhome they should have told me then and I would have taken it back to Lowes. They did cover it and credited Lowes so I got my money back.
  2. What transmission? I tow a 1500 Silverado with a 5 speed and v6. I don't think that configuration is still available. If you have a 4 wheel drive it should work.
  3. I'm sure the dryer is way past due for service. When I drained the tanks they were dry. I have the service kit for the dryer.
  4. I just started working on a new to me 98 Discovery. Air would leak down in less than an hour. I was airing the system up with my shop compressor and when I disconnected the airline air came out. The check valve at the drier was stuck open. I replaced it then the purge valve in the dryer had a small leak. The air in the tanks leaked back to the drier so I changed the valves at each tank. Now it holds pressure.
  5. With the pump on check the voltage at the pump. Should be battery voltage.
  6. It probably uses the house batteries.
  7. Get with a company like Roadmaster. They manufacture everything you need and can explain different options.
  8. In Las Vegas the health dept requires a donut. At Thousand Trails on Boulder highway the opening is a tapered cement hole.
  9. Make sure it is a continuous duty solenoid.
  10. Have the LP pressure checked. It should be 11 inches water column (about 1/4 lb.)
  11. Any competent transmission shop should be able to do the repair.
  12. I took your lead and ordered one last night. Found one on eBay, new in the box, for $210 and free shipping. I have been using portable induction cook tops for about 10 years, first saw them in Asia and had to have one. At home we have had an Samsung induction range for several years.
  13. It is Induction cooktop not convection. They run on 1/2 the current and heat twice as fast ( I tested the induction against the standard electric ) and are easy to clean. I am using a single counter top induction unit.
  14. Where do you get that db measurement?
  15. I arrived at my daughters, am using my Wilson unit that was waiting for me. I have no service to 1 bar and when I turn on the booster I have 5 bars.
  16. Wilson makes a variety of products that boost signal. I was in a campground without any usable service on my Verizon iPhone. My neighbor had a Wilson 271201 amp and I put my phone next to it and I had 5 bars. I will ordered one and will pick it up at my daughters in 2 days when we get to her home in Oregon City.
  17. We were just there and traveled on foot to several islands. Most everything is within walking distance of the ferry dock.
  18. Check to see if there is power to the jack solenoids.
  19. It may be the speed resistor, it should be located in the air chamber.
  20. We've stayed a Watchmans in Zion and the national campground at the Grand Canyon.
  21. Its also handy for monitoring the temp after a hard pull before shutting down the engine.
  22. Be sure to get a smart charger, I have seen batteries boil with 2 amp fixed charge rate.
  23. In my RV repair shop we have corrected the problem by installing a steel pipe with short hose coupling at each end. If the original hose is more than 18 inches or so and is slightly too long it may be sagging in the middle. We use exhaust pipe, usually 1 1/2 inch and do the appropriate pipe bends at each end to align with the tank and fill nipples. Make sure the vent hose has no dips in it.
