I empty the fresh water tank and then pour a pint of hydrogen peroxide into the fill hose and run about 10 gallons of water into the tank. I run water thru each faucet and the hot water tank. Let stand for a couple of hours and then fill the tank and I'm good to go. Been doing this for many years.

The unit you have is pretty much obsolete. Do you have satellite tv at home? If so you should get a corresponding dish for the motorhome and use your home receiver.

I had a leak that I traced to under the shower. I found that it leaked when taking a shower. It was the drain where it seats against the fiberglass. I loosed the big nut and put plumbers putty around the flange and that sealed it.

They will work however the useable power in terms of time of discharge will be somewhat shorter because of the construction of the battery. Marine batteries are generally structurally stronger because of the beating they have to withstand in rough seas. They are not true deep cycle.

The batteries of Tire Minder transmitters seem to last at least a year, mine are left installed all the time. I replace the batteries about once a year.

On my Discovery the gasket on the inside of the opening at the edge had fallen out of place. The only way to reach it was to open the slide until about 6 inches from all the way and remove the flange on the edge of the slide so you can access the gasket area.
