  1. I'm glad I winter at home in Arizona where mornings in the low 40's and afternoons in the mid 70's is just comfortable for me!
  2. Find the power wire to the shade switches and put a on-off switch in series and mount the switch under the dash.
  3. I think Mobil 1 is for cars. I use Rotella t 6 synthetic which is for trucks, motorhomes.
  4. Check the tank temp with a infrared thermometer to see if the water is indeed hot.
  5. It does have everything to do with twisting the body. If the front suspension is all the way down onto the stops in the air bags and you lift on corner of the rear the body will twist. If the front end is up a little then it can tilt. I lifted the left side to change a tire and the twist was too much for the windshield. Had the front been up it would have tilted also.
  6. You may have some blockage in the fittings. Is the tank clean and free of mineral buildups? Flush the tank out and check all of the fittings.
  7. Why don't you raise the toilet by putting a 2 1/2 inch spacer at the base, unscrew the flange from the holding tank and insert a 3 inch pvc pipe extender. Thats what I did with mine.
  8. Unless the converter has a voltage control that shuts it off when the battery voltage gets to a certain point it will stay on. If it stays on it will boil the batteries if on too long.
  9. After I clean the radiator I spray the engine and wash it off. All of the parts are basically water proof or resistant or we couldn't drive in the rain.
  10. I use a product made by Spray Nine. Its called Grez Off. I spray it from the outside using a spray bottle and let it soak for about 15 minutes. Since its water soluble it rinses off easy. This product is capable of loosening the hardest baked on grease.
  11. If your near Quartzite there is a place called Gamblers that has surplus rv parts and I have seen those plastic handles there.
  12. Sometimes traveling in a lower gear will give better mpg, depends on the terrain. That can be verified by instant mpg reading on a Scan Gauge or similar devise such as Read Relay 5. I always adjust my speed by viewing my Road Relay.
  13. You should gain almost 1 mpg by slowing down to 55-60 mph. I believe if you want more than that you would have to go diesel. I have a 32 ft diesel and tow a Silverado 1500 and get between 10 and 11 mpg driving at 57-59 mph.
  14. A TPMS system is the only way to accurately monitor your pressure and temperature. I even have a transmitter on the spare, a flat spare is useless.
  15. At Thousand Trails in Las Vegas it was 39 this morning and about 65 this afternoon.
  16. I looked on my 7710 and didn't see an antenna jack.
  17. Just make sure that the brake tank for the toad is a totally separate tank, It will be small about a 1/2 gallon in size.
  18. I have the jet pack which is $50/mo and we run 2 laptops on it. Have not taken the full 5 gig yet, have had it for 2 months.
  19. According to the chassis mfg the air system is not to be tapped into, which is regulated by the federal gov. It needs a separate air tank and a proportional control valve to regulate how much air goes to the toad brake.
  20. I have been using Sta-Bil since the middle 50's for treating fuel that will be stored. 1 oz per gallon for 1 year storage works well. After the fuel is treated and mixed thoroughly you must run the engine to insure the treated fuel is in the complete fuel system. I have winterized thousands of outboard motors when I worked in the Northwest.
  21. When I go only 150 miles from home I use my tow dolly with my Prius which gets me 47-55 mpg. I had the same problem so I made 2 x 6 ramps that extend the metal ramp by 26 inches and a 4x6 block where the two overlap. On longer trips I flat tow my Silverado 1500. I changed my surge brakes on the dolly to air over hydraulic for better control.
  22. I would contact the converter to find out how it was built.
  23. You need a hdmi splitter because I think you have only one hdmi output. You will have to run hdmi cable to each tv, if you don't you will not get a high definition picture. If you opt for a second receiver then you can watch different channels on each tv, and won't need the splitter. Hdmi cable length can be up to at least 50 feet without a booster.
  24. I don't know about your Hydro-Hot but if you coat the o-ring on the filter with vaseline it will be easy to remove the next time.
