  1. That 4 amp draw is when you are plugged in on 120 volt. When using an inverter it is drawing over 200 amps at 12 volts with my 1200 watt microwave.
  2. You should use a float charger whether left in the coach or not.
  3. I have used my jacks to tilt the coach for maximum fill on more that one occasion.
  4. All you have to do to use your awning hook is to drill a 1/2 inch hole near one of the corners. Thats what I did with mine and have been using them for 10 or so years.

    AMP-L

I use a simple switch that I added in the dash area. Since both the house and chassis batteries have leads to the dash I just wired a switch and fuse between the two which will charge the chassis batteries simultaneously with the coach batteries. This works from either the inverter/charger or the solar panels to keep all batteries charged.
  6. I screwed together 2 12"x12" 3/4 ext plywood pieces with sheet rock screws. If I am on soft ground they bend slightly so the next time I use them I turn them over.
  7. I fueled up with b15 in Portland prior to Redmond and did not notice any difference in milage, still getting between 10 and 11 mpg. I am currently in the Sacramento area.
  8. Follow the positive wire from the converter to see where the current comes from.
  9. I use Tire Minder on my coach and toad. Although the pressures don't agree with my gauges neither do my gauges agree with each other! Like Brett says, just be aware of the changes.
  10. If you use hydrogen peroxide you don't have to flush out the tank. I use 1 pt to about 15 gal of water in the tank and then run all of the faucets so the treated water is in the pipes. Let stand for 15-30 minutes then fill the tank and use as usual.
  11. Look at the chart in the Michelin manual, it will give you the exact pressure for each tire.
  12. Check with RVA in Escondido Ca. Dennis Kay is the owners name.
  13. There is a valve cleaning tool that looks like a tongue depressor only thiner and made of plastic, it has a rough surface on one side. I have also used hydrogen peroxide for cleaning my fresh water system, works very good.
  14. My VISA card offers me 5% cash back on fuel at all gas stations as well as 5% cash back on food and pharmacy with no limits.
  15. Take the intake hose off and install another hose to it and a bucket full of water, turn the pump on and see if that makes a difference. Also check the voltage at the pump.
  16. Make sure the winterizing valves are in the correct position for use.

    Air Bags

I don't believe that the air bags leak. I think its in the fittings or leveling valves that have leaks.
  18. I would check out tvs at Costco or Sam's Club. They seem to have the best price and they are located in a lot of places. Vizio and Samsung seem to be the most popular.
  19. For the ease of instillation I would go with the hockey puck stick on type.
  20. Check to make sure that the breaker is still within spec and check to see if the blower is within spec. If you have to replace the breaker, get one that resets itself.
  21. Roadmaster products are very well engineered and manufactured in house in the USA. I was just at the Redmond FMCA convention and they are still doing courtesy inspections and maintenance.
  22. When choosing an inverter to run electronics, you should use a true sine wave inverter of the appropriate size. Often failure of the tv is the result of using a modified or square sine wave inverters. Non solid state devices such as heat elements and motors are not effected.
  23. At Redmond, Cummins was saying that bio diesel is ok if B20 or less.
