Blue Ox Karguard Or Karguard ll?
desertdeals69 replied to edallsails's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
Use a couple of foam camping mats secured with bungee cords. Been using them for 12+ years and 140k miles without a mark on the toad, even through Alaska. Total cost less than $25. -
Good luck as that sounds like a lot of work!

There is a spray coating by 3M called Defender that you spray on and it will peel off relatively easily in a year or so.

Any Danger In Using The Refrigerator On LP When Driving?
desertdeals69 replied to gdroke's topic in Systems and Appliances
It is a gas vapor at 1/4 lb pressure and does not surge in the line. Nothing wrong with driving down the road with it running on propane. -
When you say fresh water are you referring to the water from the fresh water tank?

Having been an Onan dealer for many years we have found that fuel line failures have mostly been air leaking into the line through a crack or loose fitting. When a genset stops with a pop it usually indicates a lean condition. The fuel line is usually 1/4 inch id.

The original goose eggs were cast aluminum which haven't been available for many years. My aluminum plates just need repainting every few years. I checked into having some cast and the price was about $95 each.

42' Coaches...Limitations At Campgrounds/destinations?
desertdeals69 replied to LARRYFREDDI's topic in General Discussion
A lot of state and federal campgrounds have restrictions as short as 30 feet. I have a 32 foot DP and have gotten in by fibbing a little. -
If you are accustom to resort type campgrounds the rally would seem primitive. However there are some things that those type of campgrounds don't have such as evening entertainment, coach displays, vendors galore, enjoying fellow rvers, etc.

Its probably for Directv. You may be able to change the LNB to get it to work with Dish. -
What surge protector do you have? With low voltage they shut off the current until power is back to normal. It takes time for this process, sometimes minutes before it restores current flow.

Check with RV Glass, they replaced both sides of my windshield on a 93 Santara.

Water Pump Only Works When Signal Light Is On

Sometimes rewiring is easier than trouble shooting. -
I've been in the RV repair business for over 30 years and all of the manufacturers have had problems, which is good for us. I have heard more good reports from Tiffin than from Winnebago.
