An Old Goose Egg

7 posts in this topic

Check it out. I discovered this aluminum plate off the side of the road along Arizona's State Route 86, the Ajo Highway. It looks as though it's been out there quite a while. Considering the low number, I assume it is from the 1960s.

Dwight, this number falls into your father's timeline and when you where a lot younger.

Wounder if the home office would like to get this one for the 75th reunion?

The original goose eggs were cast aluminum which haven't been available for many years. My aluminum plates just need repainting every few years. I checked into having some cast and the price was about $95 each.
