An Old Goose Egg

Check it out. I discovered this aluminum plate off the side of the road along Arizona's State Route 86, the Ajo Highway. It looks as though it's been out there quite a while. Considering the low number, I assume it is from the 1960s.

Dwight, this number falls into your father's timeline and when you where a lot younger.

 

Wounder if the home office would like to get this one for the 75th reunion?

<p>That number belonged to Kenneth Shaw from Tucson, Arizona. His membership lapsed in 1971.

Being a new member do we purchase the "goose egg" or is that supplied when joining FMCA...... :(

The original goose eggs were cast aluminum which haven't been available for many years.  My aluminum plates just need repainting every few years.  I checked into having some cast and the price was about $95 each.
