  1. calbrationtech, Welcome to the Forum. Your battery cut off may be in the off position. If you have a manual check it and see if you can find its location. Herman
  2. Sorry but what you need is not a auto wheel but a trailer wheel. I will be willing to bet that they will have the wheel you need. I know that they have 13" wheels and tires. Just check your load range and match it up with what they have. Herman
  3. Welcome to the Forum. Check with Northern Tool or Harbor freight. Herman
  4. BD, you should have an HWH leveling system. If so the dump button is in the middle on the left side of the panel. Mine has 3 or 4 arrows pointing down. Hope this helps. Herman
  5. Wayne, don't try to adjust the wheel using the steering box. There is an connecting rod from the drag link and the connecting rod. There is where you can adjust the wheel. However I stand by my commit of returning to the dealer that did the alignment. Sorry but they didn't complete the work and should correct their mistake. Herman
  6. cadiwa, Welcome to the Forum, Have you had your coach alignment done recently? If so they may have not aligned the steering wheel after the alignment. Any Truck shop that has the ability the align front ends should be able to center your wheel. Herman
  7. What Brett said plus: What is the alloy of your chassis? What is the alloy of the hinge? As far as the process I would use a TIG machine. You can control the heat and heat effected area. Also remove every thing from the compartment and have a fire extinguisher ready. And last but not least, use a professional welder. Herman
  8. Your system has a reserve tank that will pressure up when you first hit your brakes after hooking up. SMI amd M&G will instruct you to hit your brakes several time after hooking up. In the case of a separation of the coach and toad the brake away switch will close a solenoid that closes off the air from the coach and open the air to your toads brakes. This will stop your toad . I hope this helps and that you never have to find out whether it works or not.
  9. Aychihuahua (wow) All of our hearts have fluttered a time or two, don't worry. One of the thing I do is copy the manual to keep on file. My stack is getting very high, but it help for reference. Good Luck. Herman
  10. Kevin & Deb, Kay and Sue, Welcome all to FMCA. You are both correct, FMCA is a great group of folks. If you haven't done so yet, look up a chapter in your area and go to a Rally. You again will meet a lot of new friends. Herman Mullins President of Lone Star Chapter
  11. Welcome to the Forum. Sam is on the right track. If your jacks are HWH they do take Transmission fluid. My manual said to lower one jack about 3 inches and add fluid until the warning alarm goes off. Worked on our last coach when the fluid was low. Herman
  12. Mike, knowing some of the folks on the Forum, I would not open myself up by asking them where to go. They may tell you. If you get a chance go to Thermopilis and the hot springs. Cody is good also. Looking forward to seeing you in Gillette. Herman
  13. Larry, I understand your thinking. However I would only use a lubricant for protection if I were going to be parked for a long period of time. When you were ready to move I would be sure to wipe the piston with WD 40 to clean and remove the dirt before raising the Jacks. Under normal travel your jack pistons will be up and covered with the fluid. Herman
  14. WD 40 drys and doesn't leave a film to attract dirt like silicone would do. Herman
  15. rawylie, As Brett said, Welcome to the Forum. I live in the DFW area, and if I may help you send me a Personnal Message. Herman
  16. Chambo1, Welcome to the Forum. The likely reason WalMart will not allow you to park there is there is a city ordinance against it and not them. Other places would would fall under the same rule. Check out http://rvparkreview.com. You may find a location closer. Good Luck, Herman
  17. Rick Welcome to the Forum. Downstream is a new casino and has two locations to park. Both are close to the casino but I don't know about rig size. A little ways off the Interstate in Grove, OK there are two nice parks. Ceder Oaks can handle long rigs and you can get a site over looking Grand Lake. Also there is a park called Bears Den. They also can handle long rigs however we have not stayed there. We have stayed a Ceder Oaks many times, Great folks. Herman
  18. A word of caution to everyone. Safe or no safe. If you have a fire in your coach, There is nothing worth more then your life. Everything else can be replaced. Get out, call for help, but be safe. Herman
  19. Try extending the jack all the way with the weight of the coach on it. Measure the height for a reference. Go back after several hours and remeasure at the same point. If your coach has settled any, look for signs of fluid. If there are signs of fluid you have a leak. If not then you have a leaking check valve in your system and the fluid is leaking back into the reservoir. Herman
  20. I have to agree with Brett. Any time you trip a breaker the moment you plug in the unit you have a direct short. Follow your lead back to the unit you may find a bare wire. Look for a burnt spot on metal where the wire may have come in contact. Good luck. Herman
  21. David, Welcome to the Forum. Give Paul Davis a look. His company is Mr Olivers. Check out his web site: http://mrolivers.com/ He has quite a few coaches to view. Also check out Motor Homes of Texas: http://motorhomesoftexas.com. David has some really nice coaches. Your will have a hard time finding two better dealers. Paul or David. Herman
  22. Dboy, If when you are connected to CG water and your Fresh Water tank is filling up even though you have the valve in the correct position you have a bad reverse flow check valve bad in your pump. It is a very inexpensive part and easy to replace.
  23. For a nice scenic drive go up 69 to I-40 East to I-540. Take I-540 North out of Alma (just out of Ft. Smith). Go north through Fayetteville and Springdale. Its been a long time since I drove from Springdale to 65 on 412 but I remember it was a good road with a lot of small towns. Enjoy Arkansas and Branson
  24. DB, Welcome to the Forum. I may not understand your question. Do you mean that the Gray water is getting into the Holding Tank (Black Water)? My 02 Dynasty has two valves one large valve for the holding tank and a smaller valve for the gray water. They are connected by a "Y" fitting to the discharge connection. If you had a leaking valve you would have bad water come out when you remover the cap. You have two connections in the bay. One is for connecting to the city water and for filling your fresh water tank. the other is for flushing your holding tank. There are no connections from the fresh water to the holding tank. Just a silly question, did you by some chance connect your hose to the wrong connection and filled your holding tank with fresh water? It can happen, I know, no more needs to be said. Herman
  25. randy, One more thing. It is not a bad idea to carry a spare solenoid with you. Solenoids are just a magnatic unit, so while there is power to it it is active. Over a period of time they just give out, as you found out. A spare will almost surely guarentee that the solenoid in your coach will last for ever since you have a backup. Good luck and happy you got your problem solved. Herman
