  1. Roger there are 50 different answers to that thought. All I know is that in Texas if you drive an motorhome in excess of 26,001 lbs you need either a Class A or B operators License. There are three Class of Operator License in Texas. Class C= Standard License to drive a non commercial vehicle weighing less then 10,000 lbs. Class B= license to drive a non commercial vehicle weighting over 26,001 lbs and towing less then 10,000 lbs. Class A= same as B but able to tow in excess of 10,001 lbs. When testing for either a Class B or A there are some questions that you will find in the CDL handbook but you are not taking a CDL Test. When I got my Class B License I had to take a Computer test and a driving test. The driving test consisted of Backing 100 ft., Parallel Parking, and a road test to prove you road knowledge. I do not know of any requirement for driving a vehicle weighing less then 10,000 lbs and towing anything. This is just for Texas. I would say that less than 10% of Motorhome operators in Texas have such a License. I think this would be a great topic for a Retired Tire Design and Quality Engineer to tackle and present it to FMCA's Technical Committee. Don't you? Herman
  2. I know what you mean but no matter how many times I move it to "Not Spam" the next time it goes right back to spam. And I will get 2 or 3 email from the address good and on the same day bam right back to spam. I have even taken it to a computer garu and he ended up scratching his head. So I continue to check my spam folder. Remember We Are All I This Together Herman
  3. Where did you find the Gold Tone ones? Remember We Are All In This Together Herman
  4. I understand but for some odd glitch in my email I have some incoming emails that I need but they sometimes go to the spam folder. Not all the time. I have about three addresses that do that therefore I have to check my spam folder every time I go to my mail. This morning I had 28 emails for the same site in my spam. I have been in contact with the site and have been told that there is a glitch in their server and it is hung up somewhere. So I check and delete several time per day. 5. So many cliches, To each his own. What's good for the goose isn't alway good for the gander. I like the one that came with our coach. It has both spray and pulse. Never use the pulse but i do move it to where it is in between both this slows down the water but keeps the heat up. Our only problem is that it is Gold Tone and it in worne some but I can't find a replacement. Oh well we just keep on keeping on. I am glad that is one of my least worries. 6. Another lesson learned. Check with the valve coming into the heater like Brett said. Herman
  7. Ok, might I suggest that you contact the shop that winterized you coach and ask them if they shut off a valve from the engine to the heater. Hermna
  8. I have contacted them several times and asked to be removed from their list, I have it sent to my spam folder an so far today I have had 28 emails in my spam folder so far today. They are a pain in the posterior. Herman
  9. Welcome to the Forum. Since the water heater works on electric are you talking about working on propane? If so have you checked to see if, when you had it winterized, they turned your propane off? Herman
  10. I forgot Joe, with three Ladies on board when you travel, you will always require Water and sewer wherever you park. Or maybe a 500 gallon fresh water tank and 500 gallon gray water tank. Herman
  11. Thanks Gary, since you cleared the drain tube take it out in a few days and see how it does. You may have solved your problem. Herman
  12. Gary, not sure what year your coach is but if you had a build sheet that may tell you who was the manufacturer of each component. Knowing that your coach is an Entegra now someone with the same unit may have had the same issue. Also as I asked, how was it cooling when you saw all the water? Herman
  13. The best I can suggest is to check the drain hose. If it is clogged up, clean it out then run the A/C. That is the least expensive thing to try. Sorry, I didn't ask, how was the unit cooling before you got home? Good, Fair or poorly? Herman
  14. How many of you, when in a Rv Park, Resort, and state or national park, gone up and introduce yourself to another camper and talk about FMCA. I have on many occasions but I don't do it near enough. I have left many Family Rving magazines at park counters. How many have I recruited, I have no idea. But I am still trying. Charlie Adcock had a saying that is still used, it was "It's All About Having Fun". For now I would like to start a new one, "We Are All In This Together'. Hang in there everyone. We are all in this together, Herman
  15. Welcome to the Forum. One that will shut off at the head. And Mike I'm not trying to be a smart *** but what do you need 5 different spray patterns for ? Herman
  16. Try googling "Does Carfax Have Reports on Motorhomes". Interesting. Herman
  17. Is anyone else getting bombarded by the "Bill Ds Monacoers Weekly Digest"?????? I have put it into my Spam Folder gone on the site and unsubscribed and still get hit with messages. For many reasons I have to check my spam folder several times a day. Each time I check i will have at least 25 to 30 "Bill Ds Monacoers" in there. Does anybody know anything about this site? Has he somehow gotten every Monaco owners email address? It may be an alright site but I don't need it, don't want it and can't get rid of it. Herman
  18. There are a number of "Chicken Littles" out there that are pessimistic about most everything. No matter what you do they will not go away. Yes FMCA is having a rough time now, but so are the Escapees, Camping World and most every restaurant, grocery store, and the list goes on. Remember folks THIS IS THE UNITED STATE OF AMERICA, we will survive this. There will be bruises but bruises will heal and so will we. I for one am optimistic about the future of FMCA. FMCA is a strong organization with strong leadership. So now is the time to take advantage of low fuel prices to fill up your Rv, grease up the hitch, check the fifth wheel. When have you had more time than now to tune up everything so you will be ready to go when parks are open, rallies return and we are able to see old friends again. I can't wait. Now I will step down from my soap box. I have some wheels to shine. Herman
  19. Yes, Gary passed away yesterday. Please keep his wife and daughters in your prayers. Herman
  20. I stand corrected. All of the information I have come across refers to the Ford Explorer and Explorer Sport 4X4s and not the F150s. I have had both 2008 and now a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 4X4. For several reasons. 1) There is no steering wheel lock. 2) Very easy to put it into four wheel neautril. 3) When in four wheel neautril you just put it Park take the key out and lock the doors. and 4) It doesn't rack up the miles I have pulled 4X4 Chevrolet over 60K miles with no issues. But hay I'm and Chey Man what can I say.👍🏻 Herman
  21. Bill Brown, let me add something to the good advise Bill just gave. If you get under your coach or any coach for that matter, be sure you have some substantial support in case by some unfortunate you lose your air pressure. As I understand it it is very difficult to breath with a coach on your chest. Please be careful so you can be safe. Herman
  22. Jon, are you sure that your Inverter can be programed to auto start the Gen.? Also to having a shop load test your Batteries might I suggest that you go to Harbor Freight and purchase your own load tester they are very relative inexpensive. Then you can do your own test anytime you need to. Herman
  23. Welcome also. You might go on line and try to find a M/B site that may have a forum or reviews on your particular RV. As brett said others with your unit may chime in with some excellent advice. Herman
