  1. Cv, Welcome to the Forum. Not familiar with your TV lift but here are a couple of thoughts. Fuse, have you checked for a bad fuse? Switch, and a possible bad or just disconnected switch. And a bad ground. A bit more information would help. Make, Model and Year of your RV. Then maybe someone with the same, may have had the same issue. Again, Welcome Herman
  2. To all you Pluggers, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Herman
  3. I am sorry I miss read your OP and thought your coach was a 2021. Sorry. Herman
  4. You seem to be throwing money away on something that is surely a warranty issue. My suggestion is to take it to where you bought it and have it fixed at no cost to you. JMHO Herman
  5. As Bill said, Welcome. Login to fmca.com, on the tool bar click on EVENTS. There you will find the list of Exhibiters and Vendors for Tucson. Herman
  6. Welcome to the Forum. I am sure you might be better off making the part you need. If you could attach a picture of what you have we might be able to help you fabricate something. Again, Welcome, Herman
  7. Welcome to the Forum. Check your starter solenoid. Mine is in the panel in front on the drivers side. With the key on you should have 12 volts on both sides on the big bolts. If not you can put a jumper across then tow and see if you have lights and starter. If you find the solenoid is bad be sure and get a 12 volt continuous. I believe the number is a #55. Gook luck and again Welcome. Herman
  8. There is a National Chapters just for Road Tracs. Lockhart to Austin some of the best Bar-B-Que in the world. And it is "BURN-IT, DERN IT, NOW LEARN IT". Herman
  9. We are drifting away from the original topic "Road Side Assistance". Herman
  10. I had an issue with my Residential Refrigerator I pulled it out of it's location had it sitting in the kitchen area of the coach. Tech came out repaired it and I put it back in. Appliance shops don't take refrigerator to the shop for repairs. I think you had a shop that just didn't want to do the job. Find another shop. Herman
  11. I have had Dish Network for over 15 years. For 12 years I have have it in my Coach. I have never had a problem with either service or tech issues. Yes some time there may be an issue with understanding the tech person but you have the same problem with any place you call even your local grocery store. Some people like Fords some Chevrolet are they bad people, no. I for one like Dish over Direct but that is my choose. So let agree to disagree. Now I am going back to watching "Bitchen Rides' on my Dish DYI Channel. Herman
  12. Welcome to the Forum. Use a good and strong two sided tape and you can mount it where ever you like. Herman
  13. hallfam4rv, Welcome to the Forum. The group you saw may have been a Tour Group. A tour group, I have been told, is the way to go to Alaska. It is a bit costly but they make all the reservation for you and plan all the site seeing along the way. There are several groups that sponsor FMCA, Adventure Caravans and Fantasy RV Tours. Good luck hope you are able to make it to Alaska. Herman
  14. It appears that you plan on doing the work your self, so don't forget to check the wheel bearings and seals. Both the seal and races should have part numbers on them. Your Magnum Chassis should have a straight axle. There should be a head badge on the axle with the name of the Manufacturer and model number on it. Take that information along with the bearing and seal to either NAPA or a HDT parts house. Good luck, Herman
  15. Oldcobia, As Carl said, Welcome to the Forum. There were several models of Safari Motorhome in 1995. Can you tell us model, gas or diesel and possible the Chassis. Then you can take that information to NAPA or Auto Zone to locate the parts you need. (I find when I need to research parts NAPA seems to be able to do research better). Herman
  16. When we bought our current coach they told me that the Speed O had been changed at 16,000 miles. On my trip tech I can bring up coach data and it will give the actual mileage. Herman
  17. It's amazing how much smaller the space get as you back in. If you back out it is amazing how the space outside expands as you exit. Carl is right, drive in, back out. Herman
  18. We had an in-depth discussion about the Plates at the EB Meeting in October and as you can see we are working on a solution. If anyone has a plate that is deteriorating please let them know in FMCA and they will take care of you. Herman
  19. Might I suggest that you contact Jos Spurlock at FMCA. Jos can get you the help you need. 513-388-5259 Herman
  20. Is there supposed to be a question here? Herman
  21. My Sprint jet pack is about a year old and is 4 G but it is truly unlimited. Herman
  22. Five, the biggest hang up now in DEF is the availability of parts like pumps, heads and chips. With all that is happening at present I am happy to have my 2002 400 ISL. No Regin., no Particulate Filter and no DEF. Here's hopping the shortages ends soon. I waited 4 months for a part from HWH only to be shipped the wrong part. Had my old part remanufactured and it will be installed Monday. Herman
  23. My Jet Pack goes with me where ever we go. As well as the hot sport on my AT&T phone. Herman
  24. Mike from what I was told all new account will be 5G. Herman
