  1. Chad welcome to the forum. Like Brett, I see no reason you couldn't run a 275/70 22.5 X2A2 Energy from Michelin. One other tire is the 255/80 R22.5 XRV in the right load range. Here is a tool that you can use to compare size. https://tiresize.com/comparison/ Bill
  2. Here is a question. in another thread the topic of driving over the speed a tire is rated for came up. What is your thoughts on this. If you have 75 mph rated tires how fast can you drive safely? Here is a link to the outher thread. http://community.fmca.com/topic/9122-gasser-game-changer-for-me/?page=4#
  3. This might be a good question for Tire Man. Bill
  4. Drive any way you want just so you know the risk. Bill
  5. We just spent from last Thursday here with the Red River Rovers at Coyote Ranch Resort, 14145 US-287, Wichita Falls, TX 76310, coyoteranchresort.com, (940) 767-6700. The weather was a little cool in the morning, in low 50s but warmed up to mid 70s in the afternoon. But this is north Texas in November. Bill
  6. Bill, I have been looking at them and talked to a couple people who have just done it this weekend. I have a feeling there will be some in my future. You do know your tires are only rated for 75. Bill
  7. What is wrong with Maverick Ranch RV Park? http://www.lajitasgolfresort.com/default.aspx?pg=maverickranch Or this one, Rio Grande Village RV Campground, https://www.nps.gov/bibe/planyourvisit/rgv_hookups.htm There is nothing "close" in the Big Bend area. Bill
  8. Are you going to sand the sub floor? What about sealer? You have picked the right guy. Bill
  9. That was back when Noah was still working on his boat. Bill
  10. Jo interesting that company is located in Irving Texas. But they are closed mouth about where to buy it. Bill
  11. I find it interesting that the 5.9 in the Cummins truck has a higher governed speed of 3200 rpm while my 5.9 is governed at 2800 rpm. I wonder if it is just the computer or what exactly is different. Bill
  12. Does your touchpad show what gear you are in? Some just show the gear selected. That would be just a little high for my coach running in 5th gear. I have to get to 65 to get my coach to shift into 6th and it drops to about 1650 rpm. So what engine and transmission do you have. I would like to see you bring it slowly up to 66 and watch the tack and see if it shifts one more time. Bill
  13. That is not bad for your rig. One of these days you can join the ranks of the unemployed. I once drove from San Antonio to Washington DC non stop. Now 300 miles is a long day. Bill

  15. Knowing where you winter, you have to mow year round no break in the winter.
  16. The part Well I wish someone would explain to me how the Pilot/Flying J at 8745 US-93, Missoula, MT 59808, last year had 50% bio-diesel on it's pump? They had 4 different types of diesel Red #2, #1, 50% bio and regular #2. Bill
  17. Well until the OP answers the questions Brett posted everything is a guess, I guess. Bill
  18. We have been using CoPilot for a couple of years now. You can download maps when you have wifi and you don't use data. I have found it to be quite accurate. You can set the settings for your RV. It isn't free but I think it is under $10.00 and you can use it on several devices. I have it on a 10" tablet for navigation in the motor home and on the phones for in the car. With any device you need to pay attention and not follow it blindly. They have a new one geared to just RV it is $50.00 and the reviews I have read say it needs more work. Which is surprising considering how good the cheap one is. Bill
  19. Keon, Look at some of the mapping programs/apps they will help keep you off roads with restrictions. You can set your preferences on what you want to avoid, tunnels, toll roads, points of interest such as restaurants ect. Bill
  20. There is probably a reason all the manufactuers say not to back up. I wish I had one to cut open and see if there was damage. More fun would be to do a "anuel" X ray and look for damage and how it progresses. Makes me wish I still had access to a x ray booth. Bill
  21. Yes you may be able to back up a short distance but the question is what damage are you doing that you can't see. The towbars are designed to handle the load and stress in one direction. The guy I helped in my post, he only backed up a few feet. His towbar was seriously jammed up. You have to wonder how much damage did it do the the locks on the legs. Bill
