Thank you for your service. Welcome to the forum.

That would be the place I would recommend because of the location. We were there Aug 9. Look at the roads around there carefully as they can be a little confusing. Bill

I would call Coachman and ask them. I will almost bet the valves are in the wet bay. Have you looked in your owners manual? They have at least one drawing showing all the different positions of the valves. Bill

Has he looked at upgrading his rims to 19.5" there are companies making rims with the right hole pattern that gives you a whole new level of tires to look at. Bill

Well that is good news. Bill -
As Herman said and check all the connections and the grounds to. Bill

Will you cut it out! I am running out of superlatives! Bill

I agree. Ross you made me think, I never got a replacement part that goes on the generator exhaust for this RV. That and the stick on attach points. We bought one because it was required to go to this rally at Moody Beach RV Campground 266 Post Rd, Wells, ME. Checked Google and that was 9 years ago already. Maybe it is time but we seldom dry camp and I trust my system if I do run the generator. Bill
-
That is true. That is why the system shown in ianbullock's post is made with a gap to prevent back preshure. Bill

I would go back with a residential type. What RV? If you put your RV and outher basic information your signature it saves time and get a better answers quicker. Bill
-
Hear is what I would do. Get a new Co detector and run some test before you sleep in it. I will bet all manufactuers have some kind of CYA legal statement in their manuals. Bill
-
No go look at how it attaches there is a gap at the bottom. Bill

I was talking about maintaining coach heat and having unlimited hot water when called for. Interesting because in the owners manual on page 6 it states "The 450D has multiple heating sources: the motor home’s engine’s surplus heat (while driving), one 120V AC - 1650W Electric Element (when plugged into shore power), and a 12V DC powered diesel burner (when dry camping). These heat sources can be used separately or simultaneously." Frome https://www.aquahot.com/Library.aspx However you are correct that it only heats the coach when you arn't asking for hot water at the shower or sink. I think that is to prevent burns by controlling the water temp. I am glad I have my Oasis. Bill
-
Well CONGRATULATIONS on making the move to living for yourself. Yes look around there may be some local rallies. Do you have any plans on outher trips? Bill
-
I don't know of any AC units that should be drawing in air from the outside. If it did it should set off your CO2 alarm. Bill
-
Why don't you use the diesel burner when you have a extra need for hot water/coach heat? Bill

He may not be around anymore. this thread was started/ Posted April 26, 2014. I have missed when one was started before so don't feel bad. Who knows. Bill -
What model Aqua Hot is that? There was someone looking for one that was all electric. I like my Oasis. I don't have in floor heat but my floors stay warm because the heat blows out across them and the basement is heated. We haven't been any place super cold and don't plan on going. 😁 Bill

Rayin, I was lucky my heater had a thermostat. One of the big problems is how is the water bib protected at the RV park? Some have heat tape and some have valves below the frost line. They drain back when shut off. Some places just shut off the water and drain the system. The last could be a problem for a longer stay. I hope the OP looks' into that. I actually had my hose freeze on me last March in Williams AZ. They had a surprise cold front come through. It went from the low 70s to upper 20s overnight. I was surprised when I got up and no water. Well till I turned the pump on. We were lucky we weren't going any ware and it was back in the mid 50s by lunch. Bill
