  1. "Takes about 15 minutes for 70 gals or 3/4 tank." That isn't that bad as far as time goes. You won't get much faster using the city fill valve. As you know you don't want much more than 50 psi on the water pressure to the coach. Do you have a switch or is there a lever to select what position the valve is in? Bill
  2. So where are you headed out to. Bill
  3. I was looking at the picture again and I would make sure you can walk past the solar panels with out tripping. The way they look in that picture it would be hard to get past them with out tripping or walking on the edge of the roof. Be safe I see a serious safety problem trying to get past the panels. Bill
  4. Where is that crossing? I crossed at Maine 201 this summer and it wasn't to bad. I have ben through my share of tight toll booths. I know the attendants are glad there is some protection but judging from how scared some of the columns are They still get little wakeup calls from people scraping the post regularly. Carl, you would be surprised at how many do try and tour without a toad. Bill
  5. I try to watch and see which one the trucks are using, some are marked for wide load. If they are open. Bill
  6. Same question did they check the alignment and set the caster to max setting? Bill
  7. Wayne that is a good article. Gerard, Just because you can doesn't mean you should applies in this case. This summer I watched some people trying to get around on park roads at The Great Smokey Mountains National Park. The lanes are narrow and there are big rock out cropping's that can snag the side of your coach. The lanes were so narrow that they were half way in the other lane. As you can imagine this created a real safety problem. I thought the roads were narrow driving my CR-V. I have never heard of anyone getting sited for being to wide but if you drive on to narrow of road and have a incident I bet they pile on. Bill
  8. Nice coach, congrats on your new toy. Bill
  9. Welcome to the forum. Think about it would they build a coach that couldn't be sold and licensed in every state? Go find a coach you like and go camping. Bill
  10. adrainey, Welcome to the forum let us know if you got the cap off. Under what conditions is it overheating? Bill
  11. Glad you are doing OK. Makes you smile when you go out to start the generator when you really really need it and it starts and runs with no problems. Hope things get back to normal soon. Bill
  12. I don't know, you will have to ask Herman. I got volunteered but haven't heard what I am going to be doing. Bill
  13. I was looking at upcoming events and noticed it is just over a month till the FMCA South Central Area Rally in Conroe Texas, October 7 to 11, 2015 at the Lone Star Expo Center. Just wondering who was planning on going. Bill
  14. Easy check raise the tire off the ground and rotate it by hand. You should be able to feel any drag from the brakes. Huffypuff had a good suggestion. Bill
  15. Sounds like the front right caliper isn't releasing fully. I would follow wolfe10's advise. Bill
  16. Congratulations on your new coach. That is the way it works. The clicking is the fuel pump. Let it run and warm up a little before loading and take the load off when shutting down to let it cool off. Bill
  17. Welcome to the forum. I think it is to expensive and time consuming for small operations to do. I use the my laptop to look for places and then look at reviews then call and make the reservation, usually receiving a written conformation by email. I don't see a problem I just got back from a trip where we stayed in22 different campgrounds and state parks. Bill
  18. I like simple I use a bungee from the door to the mire support. Bill
  19. Wayne, That sounds like a plan. If it is staying put you shouldn't have any problems. This is a simple repair I doubt you need a new base. Never waste beer money. I removed the opisat side screw and it was tight but didn't need heat. Just remember it is in aluminum and you can strip the threads. Even if you did the repair is simple. Ray, hold my beer and hand me that rosebud torch I can have this screw hot in 10 seconds, so what if you need to repaint the front of the coach. Bill
  20. With a flame you are going to damage the paint. With the electric soldering iron you are just applying heat to the set screw and not likely to damage the paint. http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRIT?PMAKA=328-1244&cm_mmc=SEM-_-GGL-_-PLA-_-NA&003=18299132&010=328-1244&mkwid=s|dc&pcrid=43172597894&gclid=Cj0KEQjw6vquBRCow62uo-_J_YYBEiQAMO6HigvAy8FG2l8gFftV0bntwEXh-O6T--xcJAg-8zdszM0aAin88P8HAQ Bill
  21. That is why I said to use a electric solder iron as you can apply heat to the screw only. A hand held torch is a little less discriminate. Bill
  22. Wayne, Finally got around to finishing my repair of the allen screw on my mirror. Going back to your first post, yes the allen screw has a type of Locktite on it. I would try backing it out first. you might try a little penetrating oil to. When you get home or where you can work on it you might try heating it with a electric soldering iron. just hold the tip to the center of the screw. I took the screw out of the other side to check it out. it came out but needed a fair amount of force. As I posted earlier the threads and hole size were beyond what a helicoil would repair. I went with a 1/2 -13. The only problem was finding a bottom or plug tap, all the taps I could find were start taps with a long lead. The problem is I couldn't get the tap threads all the way through the hole. The long lead hit the shaft of the mirror I was able to move the shaft and the plastic part up but couldn't get it through. I ended up cutting the lead off a start tap to finish the thread job. Simple job ended up taking a couple days instead of 30 min. One thing I found was the screw that was screwed up was half the length of the one on the other side. I wonder how that happened. Good luck on your project, I know exactly how frustrating it is having a mirror not stay put. Bill
  23. This was per the instructions from EZ Pass. Pleas show me what facts you have for your statement. What does the toll I payed before I got the EZ-Pass have to do with anything? Most people know that EZ-PASS is not valid in Texas. Bill
  24. You can always check the date of the post. Most of the newer post are toward the top of the forum while older post tend to drop down and finally off the top page. Bill
