  1. Interesting but I don't see anything that much better than my little camper. Headed West tomorrow. Bill
  2. The middle one should drive grate. I have heard that tag axels make a big difference. I do think he may have a bit of a problem with "tail swing". The bottom looks' like a early airstream class "A" prototype. It is shown with the optional "pet goat door and ramp". Bill
  3. Are you manually downshifting to keep your rpm up? Bill
  4. That is a interesting clastic. You might also look at a 6.7 Cummings ISB. Bill
  5. Why don't you call a couple of your local Cummins dealers and ask them? Bill
  6. Haven't had a 6.7 but my 5.9 would run 35+. What does Freightliner think the problem is? Have you checked the CAC for leaks or all the clamps on the airline/ducks in and out of the turbo? Bill
  7. There is a nice RV park just off I-35 just south of Killeen. We stayed there on night last year. Valley View RV Park, 13483 I-35, Jarrell, TX 76537, https://vvrvpark.com/, 512-887-9168. Bill
  8. You do realize Killeen is about 150 miles south of the FW Dallas area. Bill
  9. I don't have any experience with that brand generator. It may not Have a vent to the atmosphere like the older diesel's did. I would try to find a parts breakdown and see if you can find it. Bill
  10. Yes it was 84 hear 3 days ago and will be 65 on Monday. Bill
  11. Yes you should come down hear to FW it is a balmy 25 and a nice freezing rain falling. Bill
  12. I will second that. You can't begin to see everything in a day. There are so many amazing things and on top of the museum they have over 80 acers around the museum(Greenfield Village) where they have moved important buildings and homes in and have people giving talks about them. They have all of Edison's labs, They have the first building in the world lit by electric lights. The wright brothers bicycle shop. https://www.thehenryford.org/ The only problem when traveling in Canada is when you need to buy fuel. Just looked and diesel is $1.79. Bill
  13. That is a new one on me. I have never heard that internet truism before. I would definitely use a good Surge Guard that shuts off power for low voltage or hi voltage. When you think about it No refrigerator runs all day long. They run for a little while until they reach the right temperature inside, and then their built-in controllers turn them off. If it is Fairley cold and the compressor doesn't run for several hours is that infrequent use? I am wondering how it would be differed if you shut it off or the control board shuts it off. I have heard some residential refrigerators don't like anything but "pure sinewave" converters. That along with low voltage can cause "incremental damage" that builds up to where it fails. Ok I would ask that expert to show me some documented proof that turning your frig off will damage it. Bill
  14. What chassis is it on? Something like this? https://www.etsy.com/listing/457133726/safari-motorhome-operations-manuals?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_us_a-books_movies_and_music-books-guides_and_how_tos-other&utm_custom1=_k_EAIaIQobChMIrc60tIWN9gIVyBbUAR3nmQM_EAQYASABEgJDcfD_BwE_k_&utm_content=go_12573073822_126376633104_507505666077_pla-317444424948_c__457133726_123590057&utm_custom2=12573073822&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrc60tIWN9gIVyBbUAR3nmQM_EAQYASABEgJDcfD_BwE Bill
  15. That's ok I don't get up to drive at 3AM any more. I will probably break it up and come in the 22. Bill
  16. Carl, what time do they stop parking people usually? I got my package and they have me coming in on the 21 but that will be the day we leave San Diageo and don't know what time I will get in I figure it will be at least a 8 hour drive. Bill
  17. Nice, Now go have some fun. Are you going to be in Tucson for the FMCA rally? Or San Diageo for the AIM rally? Bill
  18. Welcome to the forum. My thoughts, Location, some places are not going to have signal. Bill
