  1. nbk7ak2, welcome to the forum. Is the fan coming on when it should? Have you checked the radiator and cac are clean? Have you measured the temperature at the radiator to verify the gage is right? Hopefully the OP or someone with more experience with a Monaco will see this. The last post was September 6, 2018 Bill
  2. Strange it worked well every time I have used it. Bill
  3. Just take the old one with you. Bill
  4. Welcome to the forum. Does it do this when you do your mounthley runs to exercise your generator? What elevation in AZ? Bill
  5. Nice coach. I was looking at a couple Foretravels before I bought my current coach. Bill
  6. What amp is the shore power you are plugging in to? Does it do this at every 50 amp power pedestal/shorepower you use? Bill
  7. So did you upgrade so the house batteries are being charged with the motor running? Bill
  8. Actually that is a Navy term for people in the air wing. Yes the anchor clankers and dirt pounders all made fun of the Army Air Core when it was formed but now they don't mind catching a ride especially on flights back to Conus. Many don't realise all the things going on above our heads. Look at this. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nicedayapps.iss_free&hl=en_US Other countries are expanding into space but we arn't hearing much about it. China and Japan have had missions to the moon recently. Bill
  9. Welcome to the forum Amata1957 and congratulations on your new RV. I know the fun of moving everything into your "new" RV and getting it put away and then the big "Where did I put that?" If you put information about your RV in your signature it will help get better answers. See mine and some of the others as examples. Lots of good answers. I like to do like fagnaml said. It is a good idea to take the mind set that you need to zero out your maintenance hours This gives you a good baseline weather you do the work or have someone else do it. For long term parking(where are you) I would go with jleamont's suggestions. I am lucky that I can use my coach (in normal times) nearly all year and I don't winterise it. Well I put a little heat in if it is going to be to cold. Where are you going on your first trip? Bill
  10. 8.0HDKAK no load 0.13, Half load 0.49, Full load 1.02 Gal per hour. Your results may vary. Bill
  11. BobCarolRV76, Welcome to the forum. I would agree with Herman. The Jeep Wrangler 4 wheel drive would be my choice. Yes would you add your RV and info to your signature, it makes it easier for you to get good answers and saves time. I am still mad at Honda for changing the CR-V. Bill
  12. Wondering if you Talked to these people? As an FMCA Member, you can work with Custom Glass Solution to get your windshield replaced and earn one year of your FMCA membership for FREE! For questions regarding FMCA's windshield replacement program, please contact Custom Glass Solution at (855) 362-2784, or visit www.rvglassparts.com. Bill
  13. What exactly are you doing for the campground owners? What incentives have you offered them? Have you offered them a $10.00 bonus for signing up new FMCA members? What about something for the employees? What about a contest between campgrounds in a area or state? Exactly why you need to recruit younger people with a younger audience. No I don't think they are that far apart. You are trying to get Views that lead to donations (dues) from people joining FMCA. You want "Followers" so you can charge more for advertising. They want donations on patreon. I am pretty shure if you grew the FMCA chanel you could get revenue from it to. Bill
  14. Like jleamont, we use the park cable or over the air tv. I like to watch the local weather especially during bad weather. Bill
  15. Yes Carl, I was just pointing out that was the only trip I had been on, So far. The mountains of North Dallas. Bill
  16. I was simply pointing out that it was still cheaper to join FMCA with the benefit package than it was Good Sams with the same level of protection. By the way what are you doing to increase the number of discounts at different campgrounds? I see very little FMCA presence at places I have stayed. I think this is an area that could be improved. I never see any posters,or any on site advertising for FMCA. What about developing some "Point of sale" type promotional material/displays. I hope you arn't trying to impress us with those numbers considering your last video got 86 views since June 29, 2020. Yet little home done channels like All about RVs got 46,657 views since Jun 27, 2020 and has 113K subscribers. https://www.youtube.com/c/AllAboutRVs/videos You might add them to your list of “influencers” you are talking to. Bill
  17. I am looking forward to trying the engine break on this coach. I didn't turn it on this last trip to OK. I realey didn't need it in the mountains of north Texas. Bill
  18. Yes maybe we arn't doing a good enough job of explaining that yes you can join GS for 29.00 but you have to buy the travel assist for an extra 69.00 or a total of 98.00. or get both for 85.00 from FMCA. The number of people who remember the old price will be gone soon. Bill
  19. Who or which channels are you talking to on Youtube? What kind of deal are you talking about? (you can PM me if you don't want to make it public.) I don't see very much FMCA content on Youtube and this seames a prime landing spot for full timers and newbies. Bill
  20. Welcome to the forum. We have used CoPilot GPS. I still have the older version. They have a "newer" RV specific version out now. The great thing about this app is you can download the maps when you have Wifi so you don't have to rely on having a connection. Bill
  21. George, Welcome to the forum. I will second manholt's recommendation. National Indoor RV Centers, 4640 Nexus Way, North Las Vegas, NV, 89115 Phone: 702-766-7770 Bill
  22. You can talk to whoever you want. I suggested Safelite because my insurance agent recommended them to fix a couple of chips on my last RV. He said all the insurance companies recognise them. I pretty much think you will need someone to do the work who has the equipment. Let us know how it goes. Bill
  23. What does the owner's manual say? Have you looked under the coach? I would look at the Tiffin web site or call the hotline. What advantage do you see being in a small coach in a small campground? I have been in every state in the lower 48 and 4 Canadian provinces. Never had a problem with a 38 ft coach. Now I have one that is 7' longer and I still don't have any problem. Shorter in height might have been good sometimes but I don't see any advantage to a coach 3' 4"shorter. The ones I looked at had much smaller storage less counter and smaller bathrooms/showers. I have Comfort steer and I like it. The V ride is a Freightliner deal and I have a Spartan Chassis. You should go drive one and see for yourself. Where are you looking? When you drive the New Air I would drive something like a Mountain Aire for comparison. Try a King Aire. Bill
  24. Just a thought. I would call someone like Safelight and get a quote on replacing the gasket. https://www.safelite.com/ps-brand?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Dallas/Ft Worth:Brand&utm_term=safelite&cl_aid=safelite&cl_vend=google&cl_ch=sem&cl_camp=794299332&cl_adg=46909228288&cl_crtv=427804444933&cl_kw=safelite&cl_pub=google.com&cl_place=&cl_dvt=c&cl_pos=&cl_mt=e&cl_gtid=kwd-257252597&gclid=Cj0KCQjw9IX4BRCcARIsAOD2OB2zVo1R81iYzKNd8qaT7sqTEGw6SSs4x-bbjefTtkLL-7OCI4hauUEaAhuHEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds Bill
  25. I would like to know what FMCA is doing to recruit some of the thousands of new people entering the RV lifestyle. This has been a period of unbelievable growth, with more people than ever before buying RVs of all kinds. Bill
