If you want to see your insurance go up try insuring 2 diesel pushers at the same time ask Carl. Bill

2010 Cadillac SRX FWD automatic 3.0L
wildebill308 replied to wakury's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
I would go back to remco and read the notes. Notes Towable as is with speed and/or distance restrictions. Please see Owner's Manual for confirmation and procedures. It is not recommended to tow this vehicle over 65MPH When towing for an extended period of time, start the vehicle as often as possible and allow it to run for five minutes to prevent battery drain. Please check your Owner's Manual for confirmation. Follow procedures within Owner's Manual for guidance when towing this vehicle. To prevent the battery from draining while the vehicle is being towed, pull the fuse/fuses listed in the owner's manual. Follow owner's manual procedures. They also gave a list of equipment needed to tow 4 down. Bill -
When I got my card they said the same thing but I think it came much quicker. I think they like to have a little cushion. Good luck and let us know. Bill

Recommendation for inner dually valve stem extensions
wildebill308 replied to gbrawley8's topic in Tires
Herman, you can't fool Carl he knows it is only flat on one side. Seriously, look at the bottom picture. The right extension looks like it is to close to the rim and could chafe. Bill -
This may be more than the average RV mechanic can handel. I would start by calling some of the body shops that specialise in fiberglass repair or a fiberglass boat repair place. That looks like a fiberglass panel and you can make a mold off the drivers side and use it to make the part for this side. If they want to much turn it in to your insurance and let them find a place to fix it or total it. Bill

romer1, welcome to the forum. That is a nasty bobo. So what does your insurance company say? Who have you talked to about fixing it? Bill

You look so natural! Bill

Supersailor, welcome to the forum. I have been learning all about my new to me 2008 Newmar MADP and have talked to Newmar tech support several times to. They sent me all the wiring blueprints and they are just cartoons. I don't know about the old days but they are still not so good at having any print showing how anything was made, located or routed. One thing you might find useful is I have the Operator's Manual for the auto start and it shows the fuse or a fuse (5 amp in line) on the wire connecting to terminal 3 of the AGS Controller. It shows the fuse next to the + terminal of battery. This is on page 8. Who knows where it realey is but I would start looking near the batteries. Good luck and let us know where it is when you find it. Bill

I recommend the FMCA product. Bill

I don't have the loves app and was able to start the pumps with just my EFS card. Yes, Show me any major place dealing with money who doesn't want you ID. Your SSN is your ID. I hope FMCA moves to the EFS card as I don't like leaving money sitting in an account when not traveling. Bill

Where and when did you hear that? Bill -
Mine is a little tiny 12.8 high. I am running 315/80R 22.5 all around. Interesting it is only 0.6 higher than my outher diesel pusher it is 12.2. Bill

Carl, Newmar has their customer support people working from home. I got a email yesterday from them. Bill

Norcold Double Door Fridge Not Working
wildebill308 replied to Kevin510's topic in Systems and Appliances
I am guessing but I would say the batteries may not have been all that well charged from the dealer. You have a great opportunity (and time) to run a test and see how long they will last. You could spend the night in it just like we tell people just starting out. Bill -
The key is how much boondocking are you going to be doing? I looked at replacing with Lithium Ion batteries but seldom/never need the extra capacity. The outher thing is they replaced my house batteries on my 2008 Newmar Mountain Aire before I took my coach home. They put in Napa brand. So we will see how they last. Something to think about you can replace the Costco ones 2 times and still be cheaper than the Crown batteries. Are you going to replace your start batteries? Bill

I know that well. I have had English cars. Bill

I am ready for them to give me a lowball price right now. Bill

Looks like a replacement for the Quilted Northern Extra Strong. The big question is. Will it break down in my holding tank??? Bill

I am with Herman. I think you would be better off self insuring. Put the money in a account or earmark what they would have charged you. Bill

Install Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher
wildebill308 replied to brianreed's topic in Systems and Appliances
Interesting, never got to look in a American Tradition but moved everything from the Bounder that had plenty of space or atleast no complaints to the MADP and have at least 3 shelves in the pantry not used yet and most of the overhead storage in the front is still empty. Bill -
Install Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher
wildebill308 replied to brianreed's topic in Systems and Appliances
I will bet you only will lose the top drawer to the dishwasher. I looked at a MADP that had the optional dishwasher and that stuck in my mind. We talked about adding one but haven't yet. Yes we have a lot of inside storage. Bill -
Looking good. What all did they upgrade? Bill

Glad you had your safety glasses on. Bill
