  1. Who do you have your service with? Bill
  2. Yes I recommend looking at Continentals. I put Continentals on for over $100 ea cheaper than the discount Michelin price. They road well and were as good or better than Michelin. Bill
  3. Great, so now everything is working? Now if you add your coach to your signature you won't have to reenter the information every time you post. Bill
  4. Well how many have you installed, run and monitored their performance not just read about them in the catalog? I have run most of the Banks tuners and trust me you can do a lot of damage if you don't monitor them closely. Yes, yes it has. That is a bold statement. So going back to the OP what can he do to improve performance on his 2014 ISL 8.9 He is already at 450 HP which is pretty good for a 8.9. Don't just say add a chip. What parameters would you change and what results should I see on a dyno. Bill
  5. Well that is your choice, but it is sad that you can't afford the $25.00 it would take to renew. Bill
  6. Tell me about it! I may have to make a run to Coffee Creek for a shake down. Now if they would take the severe weather out of the forecast for a couple days. I made plywood pads for under the tires.
  7. Yet since 04-29-2020 you have hid and failed to engage in a meaningful discussion about the problem. You have refused to answer direct questions about this topic. Yet you tell us you are engaged in the problem? Let's start with this Look, smithy, the fire has flared up again. Or have you fixed the problem of continuasley loosing membership? Bill
  8. Thanks for the follow up. Bill
  9. Looks like "most" of it would have gone down the drain. Now you can make a acess panel incase you have a problem under there again. Do you know how to make a flush repair? Bill
  10. I think a 200lb table top is a little excessively heavy for RV use, nice but heavy. Bill
  11. This may be why I see a lot of people mounting the bikes in or on their toad. Bill
  12. It is time to double check all the openings in your RV to make sure the protective screens are in place to keep out Flying Insects. This includes furnace air intakes and exhaust and air vents on your refrigerator. I have even heard of them building nest in the AC fan. Amazon sells a lot of different "Flying Insect Screens". The reason I brought this item up is I was looking at a friends new to them RV and it didn't have any and wasp were flying around looking for a way into it. They can block airflow and cause outher types of damage. Bill
  13. Yep, the metro Sherman area. Bill
  14. I am in the camp of why not call Tiffin and see what they say. Bill
  15. I am in the camp of why not call Tiffin and se what they say. I would also ask if they have a can of the foam they use so you could complete the repair. Probabley don't need to talk to Bob but you could use that step if they don't make you happy. Bill
  16. Good area. Have you ever been to the wooden boat show on/at Lake Winnipesaukee? http://weirsbeach.com/reasons-to-visit/events/antique-boat-show/ We will probably try to stay up at New Found Lake at Newfound RV Park later if we can get up that way later in the summer. Bill
  17. I wouldn't do that if I had Carl's money. Back to the OP's topic. I agree with Joe about the problems with new diesels. The OP has the disadvantage of having the newer emission particulate filter. That could be a problem as any increase in fuel will cause more soot (particulate) to clog up the filter or cause continues re gen. This thread made me remember one time I had a heating problem and it wasn't a steep hill. You really couldn't see you were climbing. I think it was on I-40 west of the Grand Canyon area. I was doing about 65 on cruise when my high temp alarm started going off. The problem was it was enough of a grade that, yes it could maintain speed on cruise but it was all in max boost and max throttle without downshifting for several miles. All I had to do was drop to 4th and let it cool off and then it would hold speed in 5th without a problem. Bill
  18. The left rear staying up may just be a sticking valve in that location. The manual release is a different set of valves. I would call Gaffney Factory service 1-855-253-0421 like Rich recommended. Ask if the airbags should dump everytime you apply the parking brake. I would also ask for a copy of the proper instructions for leavaling the coach. By the way the big release of air you hear when you apply the parking brakes is normal it is the air keeping the brakes from applying when going down the road. If you lose air preshure in the braking system it automatically applies the parking breaks. I know it sounds backward. Bill
  19. Are they bigger than the ones in the picture I posted? Bill
  20. I would still recommend installing a pyrometer in the exhaust manifold before the turbo. I hate to be on the doom and gloom side but with your projected gains you may never see that big of a increase in speed over big hills/bridges. Where do you find bridges that slow you down? I don't know your experience level driving big vehicles but you are never going to get it to perform like your car. The best advice is to learn how to drive your RV so you get the best performance from it. When you see your EGT start to climb on a hill manually downshift. The rule of thumb is if you can't maintain or accelerate in a gear downshift till you can. This will control your EGT. Then you can maintain a safe RPM till you are over the hill. One outher tip, don't start down a steep hill in a gear higher than you came up. This will prevent us from reading your Obit where it said "I'll just make the wife drive the Jeep." Bill
  21. Welcome to the forum. What RV are you looking for? I have just gone through the process of buying a RV and selling a RV so I am curious what you are looking for and where you are looking. So now you know about Camping World. Have you looked at PPL Motorhomes https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/ or National Indoor RV Centers https://www.nirvc.com/Sales ? After doing business with NIRVC You want to tell Camping World to take lessons. I can give you more info if interested. Bill
