  1. TDnME, Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on getting your husband to retirement. I know how you feel, we were going to be headed west now. My wife like you just finished un doing the reservations she had made. Things will settle down in a few weeks then we will go. This is kind of a lesson in retirement versos vacation mode. Once you head out you don't have to be back till you want to be back. No 2 week or 3 week deadlines to be back. I am not shure I understand why closing the parks and campgrounds is needed. Most places camping I tend to have less close contact than living in town and working. Bill
  2. If the starter is not engaging the flywheel then this is your problem. It should be pretty obvious if it is working when bench testing. Bill
  3. PoppaRex, Welcome to the forum. A national fishing license would be great. I encourage everyone to contact their State and National senators and representatives to make it happen. If they arn't hearing about it nothing will happen. Bill
  4. Well it will be interesting to see what happens when the OP installs the new starter. Bill
  5. Wayne,it is a little cheaper here in the Metroplex. Saw $1.74 at Race Track places like Costco are down to $1.59. Bill
  6. Isn't it fun the lame stream press hasn't reported on any of that. Bill
  7. The only good thing I see coming out of this virus scare is the fuel prices are way down. $1.74 for gas is cheap now days. Bill
  8. This is one of my baits for my little furry friends. They eat it and go inserch of water, hopefully outside. I don't know but they realey like some of the wiring installation. Bill
  9. Rich said with an "O" and I just followed him. Bill
  10. The 7.5 QD in my 2003 Bounder was a Kabuto. Bill
  11. Welcome to the forum. Cummins is Onan. Bill
  12. I think we were on a trip someplace when I took that picture. But you are right, I have some plywood I park on when home. You know my coaches to well. I will have to take some pictures of the MA so we have a comparison. Bill
  13. jon48, welcome to the forum. Yes it is better to get 4 corner weights, but just getting axle weights and using the 60/40 formula will help. I like to run a couple pounds (say 5lbs) over what the table says just for a small cushion. That automatically compensates for temperature change and elevation. Keep in mind some tires/brands sidewalls flex more than others. This picture shows my gap and bulge with Continentals on my Coach. Bill
  14. Domer, Welcome to the forum. Thanks for letting us know you found a place worth supporting and recommending. However note that post was from 2009. Lets hope he isn't still looking. Don't worry someone else will find your information useful. Bill
  15. The one thing I recommend if you leave the jacks extended for extended time. Before retracting them you should wipe the shafts down with hydraulic fluid to clean and lubricate the shafts. This protects the seals from damage. Ok if you don't have any hydraulic fluid you can use WD-40. Also I recommend to exercise the jacks when you do decide to retract them, it wouldn't hurt to run them through a couple of cycles. Bill
  16. The plan is to head for Midland Odessa on the 3/17. I agree a barn would be nice. Bill
  17. If the price is the same why are you getting a $2000.00 deductible? Bill
  18. One reason, take your battery ground. You check it at the battery terminal but how many check it and clean it where it connects to the frame? It might not be just loose but have a bad connection because of corrosion in the joint. Bill
  19. When I was living in San Antonio(many years ago) was when they started having tall security walls around storage places. Well the crooks just rented a space or two and now they have all the acess codes. They also have a place to store some of the stuff they took from outher storage lockers. Bill
  20. Let's hope we hear back from the OP. Carl, I am betting he has a "C" and as long as he is under the max weight and understands CCC he will be ok. Bill
  21. It just depends on how the computer wants to spell it or how bad I can mangle it. But amazingly you still puzzled out what I meant. Bill
  22. Not a bit. The method I was talking about lets you run a much richer mix cheaper than treating the whole tank to that level. I would absolutely run some in the main tank on a regular basis. Bill
