Just a heads up during these tough times with shortages and crowds at the supermarkets. I have a suggestion. Braum’s. Well ok this is only good throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Missouri, and Arkansas. If you do live near a Braum’s I think many are overlooking them. They are a ice cream and dairy store but have a nice selection of bread and baked goods, salads and meat. Joe, the fun part is it isn't realey an exit it is like a rest stop. That part of I-95 is a toll road and you never go through a toll plaza. There is always lots of room to park a RV. Bill

I would call their help line and see if you can get further instructions You may have to take some of the crown molding on top off as it may be covering some screws. Let us know what you find out. I was thinking along those lines. That and a engine that hasn't been run/maintained in a long time. One thing with it in a motorhome you can see what is going on when you crank it. You can also have some excitement if it backfires through the carb with the air cleaner off. Andy, recap for me. did you have spark at all the plugs? Have you installed new plugs? The outher tune up things, weirs, cap rotor condenser? Did you buy some starting fluid as was suggested? Just a thought, is the "wet" you are seeing all fuel or is there some water mixed in? In your first post you said"As I was driving, going around a corner I felt the engine rpm slowing down and it stalled. I started it again and made I a few more feet before it died." Is it possible you sucked up some water out of the tank? Bill

Well one cylinder may be wet but it is not full of fuel. If it was it would lock up the engine and possibly break things. Bill

Great looking coach. That first drive home is interesting isn't it. My drive home was like yours however we left the dealer later than I would have liked and had rush hour traffic for the trip. I am not shure I got into 6th gear on the way home. Brakes work good. Bill

Lots of good advice. When you pull a spark plug out to see if it is wet with gas clean it and hold it against a ground and see if it sparks when you crank it. Doing a good basic tune up would go a long way to eliminating problems. Plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Does it still have points? I think the last year was 1972. When you set the timing I would run at least 10* before TDC. You all so have a project ahead of you replacing all the hoses in there. Bill
