  1. The 2011 Tiffin Breeze in question, is a Maxxforce 6.4L V-8 from 2007, with 2010 EPA. 215 HP @ 2600 rpm, 560 torque @ 1400, Allison 1000. Powerglide chassis, built for economy! The max HP for that engine is 230/625 used by other coach brands! The coach comes in at 22,000/26,000 with a CCC of 2,300 and has a 60 gal fuel tank!
  2. The only access denied that I know off, is for P/L under Governance, then sub financial.
  3. Welcome to the Forum. Not that I know off. Your towing 8 T & I'm driving 30T + toad....roads all change every year due to weather and construction! I've been driving Class A's for 54 years & its a rolling earthquake! 😂
  4. This came up on a post here about 5 years ago, with the fix!
  5. Don, its the Hendriks HBT 210 rear axle/tag alignment system. I don't have experience with it...but from what I read, it prevents having the rear end aligned every year. Catch 22 is that the system should be checked by Spartan annually for proper torque, I could not find the torque values. Sorry, I can't help more!
  6. I have not bothered to look into this, but have been told by a person we know from Montana, that they now must pay a Luxury tax on RV's! That also applies to LLC's that own a second home and or RV's, boats etc. I personally, don't like looking over my shoulder wondering when I'll be pulled over and checked for Lic, plates and residence....we have horror stories on this Forum!
  7. How did the 10 year old tires look on the inside?
  8. I have the same system. They are all "plug & play," but not from toggle dash switch. You need to look under left side of each roller and locate the disconnect between power and switch, pull out enough wire (2 white) until you get to 5 amp in line fuse.
  9. A year late but useful info. Thanks!
  10. Don't forget the rum! I would use Everclear, one sniff, no bug & you don't need the rest. 😂
  11. Wayne, we keep forgetting that we have 4 canes in bay!
  12. Vapor lock is a common occurrence in a "rolling earthquake!" Ray, Rich, your on to something!
  13. Jim S, don't think so. Supply comes in spurts and I think Spartan has 2 parts bins...one for you and one for dealer. NIRVC has pulled some rabbits out for me, when no one else could help!
  14. We are leaving 71 feel like 74 tomorrow for home! We both have appointment with Austin Heart, next Thursday! My meds are working, I'm now at 66 to 72 beats per minute, last week I was 128/134 bpm ...Linda keeps getting dizzy and falling down, her blood pressure & bpm is all over the chart.
  15. Jim S, when my series 1 DEF went bad at Buckhorn RV Resort in Feb 2021, it did to me as described above! When I called Spartan, they informed me that my 1 was replaced by Series 5, I had it in hand the next day, UPS, cost me $684 + installation! Never asked me the color of light.
  16. We'll be in UP in about 3/4 weeks! We are in Cortez, CO & headed back to Austin Heart for Linda, I just spent a week in Durango Cardio! We're doing plan "B" for rest of summer, MI & PA.
  17. On the Spartan, you get a yellow light first and it say's "DEF shut down in 5 minutes", then the red light and your retarded to 5 mph for 15 minutes! That's enough to clear traffic & allow engine cool down! Dutch Star comes on FTL chassis with the 450 HP, or Spartan with the 500 HP Option!
  18. She going over Wolf Pass? That's a huge safety issue! 🤬
  19. Welcome to the Forum! Is there a GFI on this line? I have had them for TV. The other thing could be, your ATS is not fully engaging when disconnecting from park power to Inverter/gen power. 90% of our electric problems is a bad ground.
  20. Joe's right. Hydraulic is used on the slide that has the heavy appliances and longer slide...mine is 27' 7". My other 2 slides are electric! I would say, Newmar King Aire is high end (New replacement cost on mine is $1,300,000). Back in 2002, Joe's was high end. I had a Allegro Bus, high end, with the cable slide in bedroom, constant problem! IMHO, Bean counters will do more cheap stuff on high end coaches than middle or low!
  21. Some extent that's true. The rigs that are heavy and have big HP engines are on Spartan chassis, not FLC. IMHO, Mike does not have a foreseeable DEF issue.
