  1. Interesting subject. Hot water & Clorox, works on Sugar Bees and Love Bugs!
  2. The FMCA Sprint is retro. We got a T-Mobil (they own Sprint) hot spot and 100 G for $50 per month....
  3. The Itasca Vectra is a 40TD, not 39'....actual length is 41'. I had the WB Tour 40KD...same coach! Price is a little high, IMHO. The Foretravel is a good buy!
  4. OK, so in my coach about 500 feet + another 100 to 150 foot reaction time! Not a nice thought...that's on a dry surface!!!
  5. Welcome! A lot of ex boaters on this Forum. Gillette, WY., is the place to be the 7th of July! Lots of informative seminars, things to see, folks to meet. We'll be there!
  6. Herman Mullins has a Monaco Dynasty, he knows his elect. ask him.
  7. Welcome! 395 has always been my choice. In August it will be hot from Hesperia to just north of Lone Pine.
  8. 63/65 mph on CC, is my norm on Interstate & some secondary roads in Texas & NM. We are in no hurry!
  9. Jim S. We looked at a Newell and you're not short enough! We could not get behind the steering wheel. Behind the driver seat there is a 32" high wall, behind the wall is the slideout....the wall contains the wire run & Newell won't change it.
  10. Navyjoe. Having had Class A motorhomes since 1967, number 18 now, IMHO "cookie cutter" applies to any brand that is not a bus conversion! Last time I saw a Prevost hauling a Cadillac with longhorn in front, was in a Cannon Ball movie!
  11. Wayne, and a bad job at that...you can see it by double exposure at end of van!
  12. My old coach, 2010 AC Tradition was under the bed and a real PIA to get to....as Joe L., can attest to!
  13. I did find the 81 mph, under HD Commercial truck/bus tires....rating "M"! On my coach I have 365/70r steer tires and the other 6 are 315/70r....speed rated for 75. If you wish to go the posted speed limit in a "cookie cutter" motorhome, by all means do so, but please stay away from Texas!

Would you please be a bit more specific! Are you looking or selling?
  15. Prior to 1990, no one bothered. Between the left coast and the EPA, things have gotten worse! Too many regulations & some overlapping, will cause confusion.
  16. I would like to know, how do you stop!
  17. Bob. Welcome to the Forum! Thanks for the info. I agree fully! I don't use a base plate, I bumper pull my toads. Carl C.
  18. Welcome! Agree with Ross. We carry Scuba Boots for any river trips we might encounter. Proper footwear, is in a plastic bin, every where we travel. Same with rain/wind/cold weather clothing. They had a foot of snow in Yellowstone couple of weeks ago....I've had the same in July before! It's currently still sleeting in the San Juan Mt's of CO.
  19. LMAO. DB, that's what you get for marrying a Portuguese from the Azores Islands! 😂 Mine is a watered down half, the other being German/Hungarian. 😁
  20. DB, you'll need to get rid of the oxidation first. Give BW a call and ask for their recommendation for refinishing gel coat.
