It was a suggestion for you! If you note: I have a 2013 JW, not GC! -
Glad to hear that's over with! Another problem solved, and happy customer!

Acronyms is good, if everyone on this Forum understand it. We are not on General Discussion or PM!

KENTWELDON. Welcome to the Forum! We hope so also...

Donald. Herman is right & I would take it to Cummings, ASAP.

mailman. I have Lippert Power Gear. Jacks and or Air leveling...I prefer air leveling, but Lippert say's I should use Jacks, then let my 4 slides come out. Then I can retract Jacks and use air. Reverse for bringing slides in! STUPID! I have used, just the air and it works, but it's smoother when on Jacks! My comment was for, if you have Jacks only! I'm not familiar enough with 5'ers or pull behinds, in regards to slides, to comment. Back in the late 60's, 70's and early 80's, I did the boards & we had no slide outs. In 1983, I put HWH on a non slide Apollo, 33'...Wow, what a difference that made!

Yea, 49 this morning & 67, tonight is 41 & 72...Lets hope we don't have a repeat of last year! I still did not, nor have I ever winterized in TX. First coach 1967! I don't intend to start learning that now!

DB, good, now you can kiss and make up...Dinner & wine, should do it.

IMHO. It's time to forget about "your tech" and take the coach to Cummins, it's their engine! Your tech, whether he is Cummins Certified or not, makes no difference, he's guessing and costing you $$$, also sloppy workmanship!

Well written and informative to new and future motor home owners! Also of help to those who have a pull behind or 5'er! -
RAYIN. I Ditto, Herman! Wish you both well and pray for your future! Carl C.

It's important that you are on your Jacks and level, when operating your slide out.

Would help to know, Make, Model, Year of your coach? Some coaches will only go into re generation mode, when parked. Others, like mine, will do so, while moving! For each regen, it takes a little longer....mine started at 9 minutes, now it's 20+! Also, my temp on exhaust #1 & 2, used to be around 1,400+ degrees and now it's 900 to 1,200 fluctuating...Cummings told me, it should be baked or replaced at about 100,000 miles...I have 87,000+!

Byron. Your a day late and a buck short. They lived in Arizona from 1993 to 97. Seeing the USA is not the problem! They bought the unit from a farmer in UK...let's call it a Hobby! Works for me.😎 I have run into quite a few people from other countries, that do what you suggested and they love it. Some keep DP's in Storage here, and spend winter in them! Yes, FMCA members! -
RAYIN. That's got to be a let down, for both of you? Wish her speedy recovery! DBenoit. 4 more winters? Ouch! Do you go Ice Fishing?

Your right, and if the previous owner (BIG IF) did the 2 hours per month, for the past 14 years, then 350 is about right. However, I don't believe that it's only been used as a non exercise unit for less than 14 hours! I have my 10,000 (10Kw), serviced every 150/200 hours or about 4 times a year! We travel a lot and my coach is all electric! My generator was pulled out to replace bushings, at 4,218 hours, that was 1,183 hours ago!

LEAHROCHE. Welcome to the Forum! Wish I could be of help, there are others who will come on, in the next 4 hours. Carl C.
