  1. crosendaul. Welcome to the Forum! Neutral. If it gave the dealer problems, why did you accept it? What is the awning attached to...make, model, year?
  2. Had 3 cups of that this morning! Next time your looking, try Gevalia Signature Blend.
  3. Goodyear Endurance ST is on most of our trailers, both here at Linda's & in Gladewater! As for the rest of the big trailers, 19.5 & 22.5 we use, Kelly Armorsteel KRH! Either the OP ordered the wrong Goodyear or he left it up to the manufacturer, who just happened to have 4, old tires laying around !
  4. He must be fishing for something! Last time I was called ""good looking", was by my mother and she was legally blind, 89 years old.
  5. I just looked up the spec sheet for your coach. It came with one 15,000 btu AC, no heat pump or strip! Does yours still have a vent in kitchen and bathroom? I suspect bm02tj is correct in that your not getting enough voltage. 3 AC's draw a bunch of amps at start up. Your Coleman Mach 8, come in 9,200 or 13,500 or 15,000 btu's...witch ones do you have and are they all the same btu's???
  6. The back in, has got to accommodate, up to 48 foot coach! Our Sr. NVP's Newell is close to 47 foot, without the tow bar! I'm 46' 3" + tow bar!
  7. I think he needed one, attached to a corset, about 2 years ago! Now, not...
  8. 2DOGS6birds. Welcome to the Forum! I guess it depends on where and how you live. In 51 years of Class A ownership, I've never given it much thought. Mine have been garage or barn kept, mostly on property in Texas, I don't bother to lock it & never lost anything! All alarms do is scare the animals and irritate neighbors! We do have cameras at different locations, but that's for after the fact, in case of trespassers....all we get, is deer & coyotes! If you live in the city, rent a storage garage, with 24 hour security & be done with it. Happy Trails and Tales!
  9. When Coleman got involved, was it still under warranty? Have they offered to change out compressors? Never heard of 3 at the same time!!!
  10. Cheryl. Welcome to the Forum! You should have called your insurance, the day it happened. Do you have pictures, any thing in writing from owner of shop or shops insurance company...do you have the name of shop insurance? If not, it's your word against theirs! Have you checked to see if there is a police report? If there is, get a copy and give it to your insurance! As for value of your coach? It's not in NADA anymore, so it's whatever you can get a buyer to pay for it. Good Luck
  11. BillnPenny. Welcome to the Forum! click on the link. If still in doubt, look under towing in your owners manual.
  12. Joe, I looked in Ruidoso and could not tell...so, only you would know!
  13. FIVE. It's the other way around. I would never have accepted the trailer!!! Unless it was a brother-in-law deal, why insist on a "Brand" lug, tire? We got anything from a 12 foot single axle to a 42 foot triple axle goose neck trailer and none are running lug or AT tires!
  14. OK, I remember the first coach...there is one dark board, that makes it look like the light is on top of a box...Optical illusion! Excellent fit & finish.
  15. Byron, all good advise! In another life, I lived in Snowmas, CO. for 2 years and saw my fair share of OTR's in the ditch or way down the embankment in winter....I'm glad someone is tough when they need to be...it was not that way, in 1963!
  16. Richard. I purchased a 1997 Allegro, by Tiffin, 30 foot in 2002, for $27,000 cash. Spent about $2,000 on new tires, batteries and 2 window awnings...drove it, for 3 years, with no problems! When I traded it in for a new 2006 Southwind 32, I got $26K ! Worked for me! PPL will not sell trash....My best friend got a 5'er 2002 from PPL and had PPL sell it in 2008. He got a very good deal. I still look at coach listings on PPL. The above was in Houston, TX. the original & only store they had back then. I sill order parts from them! $550? Gone up $200 in 17 years! 10% is standard, depending on the value of what your selling. There are break points, just like Real Estate. What coach are you getting next? Or is Kerrville going to be/is it? I'm currently at the ranch, 90 minutes North! Carl C.
  17. Welcome home, Wayne! Love Bugs have gone, now we have Butterflies! Forgot what's next.
  18. Wayne. If it's on the driver side, then by TX law, it must be fixed or replaced. I just had a dime size star fixed. $50!

    Tech Talk,

DEMCO's spokesperson should go into politics, a load of BS!
  20. F258453. I'm confused. You have been a member of this Forum, since the year it started, 2009! With your low F#, unless it has a S, D, GS or GD behind it, you should know more about Towing/Brakes, than 70% of the members! MHO
  21. After re reading OP comment and the rules link, there must be several levels off ownership and rules! The more $$$$, the less rules.
  22. June 19, 2019, we are going on a 61 day Fantasy Tour of the Maritime Province. I have a friend in Newfoundland, that keeps reminding me, snow in July is not uncommon! That is the closest I'm going to get to Snow in a coach! Been to Alaska, twice...no chains, yes, we had some snow, but we just sat around until it melted and moved on! Byron. Never thought about a "Truck Stop", but your right. I'll keep that in mind.
