  1. When I turn on my Fog lights or Parking lights (Same rocker switch), the Instruments & Touch pad lights go off. When I turn on, only head lights, everything is on (also a rocker switch)!
  2. I was tempted for the Generator! Leaving crud behind is not a good thought...Thanks Joe!
  3. ticdusty. Welcome to the Forum! Thank you for the information & link. It will be useful to others! Carl
  4. 3135js. Welcome to FMCA and the Forum! Not knowing anything about your coach, such as make, model, length, gas or diesel. What you store it in, or in what part of the country, on/off shore power. Generically speaking, I have always had some shore power and it's in an enclosed garage. Therefore my prevention for rodents, is to keep them out of the garage! If you have no shore power, then shut off your batteries or pull the negative on your battery posts, after all have been fully charged. Any Farm/Ranch Feed Store has rodent repellent in granular or brick form....Follow directions! Wish you well on your surgery, and many more travels after!
  5. zara. Jeep is Dodge and Dodge is Fiat and Daimler! 2 International Companies...who you plan on suing and where? International courts are in Holland, only in America is there such a thing as a Lawsuit.
  6. Since I have Silverleaf and all the various probs, I have no problem in knowing when I can safely engage fast idle. On most coaches, you turn on Cruise Control and push on set...it will bring the engine to 900/1000 +/- rpm and hold it, until you push cancel or on/off. I do not turn Generator on, until I'm out of Park! Now, at the next Park, let coach idle while your registering, when you get to your space...the turbo and engine should be cool enough to be shut off. In Summer Texas, I hook up first, then turn engine off. If your running Generator, then turn AC off before registration and turn off Generator on the way to your space or before!
  7. I changed out my DISH for DIRECTV last October. I also, changed out my Bat Wing antenna for a Razor, on it I get all local channels and a couple of dozen others, depending on where I am. If I'm at a CG for more than a couple of days, I'll have the local channels for news, changed to my location in the coach only via satellite! Linda has a couple off shows she wants to look at. Since we both have S & B's with DIRECTV, it's only $25 for both Coaches extra!
  8. zeboray. Welcome to the Forum! As WBill said, bite the bullet and go back to Little Rock, or take Hwy US 63 to Memphis, 270+/- miles, but beautiful country!
  9. Thank you! Linda put it in her State List, for future recommended parks! Hope all well with the 3 of you! Enjoy. Carl C.
  10. I know that feeling well. LOL
  11. Congrats! Any chance for a picture? A little heavy for a Colorado, is it not? Be careful, the tail might wag the dog!
  12. Weird. Why have a test?
  13. 1998 blinds, are they metal or the kind that is joined by strings! I would ask a woman!
  14. I apologize for miss reading the OP. Don't know where my brain was, my bad. Have had that problem both in the Tiffin and current coach. The Tiffin cover was electric operated and mine got stuck in the out position. There is a armature, that is attached to the worm gear by a knuckle joint and other end(to the scissor), by a smooth bolt & cotter pin. In my case, I had to replace the armature (it had snapped in half by over extending the well cover). It's a $29 item. I was able to get at mine from the back of the cover box. You need MM wrenches and a long needle nose to get at cotter pin. Also helps to have 3 (not a typo) hands!
  15. When I had my Allegro Bus, the whole motor assembly came out from under step on outside of coach...I had the same problem as you! That was a 2011. 37'
  16. marta. Welcome to the Forum! Give Fantasy Tours a call...you'll find them listed in any FMCA magazine or look at main FMCA page. Make sure you have a Visa for every country, including Mexico. All immunization and vaccination, for each country! The biggest question is, what do you plan on traveling in? The Pan Am, is not a 2 lane paved, American Freeway! The further South you get the worse the road becomes, between major cities! Guatemala, Honduras, Panama...it can be a mud bath, depending on time of the year and campgrounds are few and far between! The Pan Am, comes to a dead end 20 miles South of Panama City, in a National Park. To continue on, you need to take a Ferry from Panama to Peru.
  17. Jeff. Give a call to Tiffin Tech Dept., the should be able to send you a pdf., or call any Cummins Service Centers and they'll get you one!
  18. Read your Cummins Manual. Agree with Bill. As for environment, I run my Generator 90% of the time that I'm not on Shore Power! Cool coach, happy me & SO.
  19. Don. Welcome to the Forum! What make, model and length rig do you have? Toad? I'll be doing the same in first week of July. We will be leaving West View RV Park on 145 North of golf course. Spent 6 Summers in Dolores River RV Park! Back to topic, as you will note under my first name, I have a 45' and will be taking 160. We'll be going to Gillette, WY.
  20. Oh, have we been here before! What Company is the Tech from? If it's Camping World, forget his name and contact Red Bay! In your case, I concur with Rich! Is your 2013 Tiffin 36' a Red DP, Phaeton DP or Allegro Bus DP? Or are we talking about a gas unit? They have different steps and access areas!
  21. 14 days? Wow! We can do 5 or 6 max. Granted, the electric macerator toilet, takes more water, but not that much more! How big is your Black Tank? Mine is 60. I have had, no burp, just overflow on the foot petal system. All depends on one or lack of one air pocket, if it's close to the top and you flush...Ugh!
  22. Hermans idea should work as long as you know if you have Galvanic reaction or not. If you do, then make sure all parts of bolt is covered...all ! Best would be same metal as pan.
  23. Eric...all depends on what you got covered & do you have replacement cost ! We need more information.
