Air Stream trailer, was not ever, intended to look like it was chrome dipped....Sorry, had to say it. LOL Think I'll stick to my $9 a bottle of Lucas Slick Mist. $9 for 2X on a 45 foot Coach &Toad...That's hard to beat !

Richard. Yes, TMI can be and normally is, a bad thing! Also got a heat gun for your reason & it does double duty at the Grill...

2 other items. If Acid batteries, are they to the full line, if not add distilled water and check to see that all connections are clean and tight on battery posts. Also look at Inverter ground wire, is it tight and no corrosion?

Pops. From my experience, prior to the invention off TPMS & remote monitors, we had no concern! TPMS to me, is another warning tool, if I have a sudden air loss in a tire, I can get off the road and stop the coach, before I have structural damage! How hot is too hot? IMHO I'm not Paranoiac enough to care. Don't over react to the exact science, leave that to the Racing Pros! Enjoy your travels, don't forget that an air gauge, like a leveler, is only as good as the last time it was calibrated....

I never said it will stop me, just a heads up for the future! Some where along the line, we will run into each other (almost happened in San Antonio)! We are going to Oregon after Gillette, then a Norwegian Fjord Cruise and 2 weeks in Sweden....Our Diesel price, will feel like a give away, when we return!

Mike. I would agree with you if I still had a job! Nothing say's HOT, than Texas and LA., in the summer! The older I get, the more I want that 60 to 80 spread, year around. Might have to think about Pacific NW in Summer and South Texas in Winter. Then there is the proposed 25 cent a gallon Interstate repair tax! That "will end when they are all fixed"..... In your great grandkids life time! We will have $5 a gallon fuel as a norm, I suspect in the next 5 years! Going by your pump price for Diesel....Refining is about .03 cent per gallon + 15 ppm Sulfur! Big Oil operates on a 4% profit margin.

Yes, I do remember 2008. Taos, NM $4.969 a gal. Now, I roll 450 +/- miles and get around 80 gallons...Still makes me pucker! Think I'll leave the 110 to 125 gallon fill ups, alone for a while! Think about Europa that rolls on $7 t0 $8 per gallon of regular gas, that makes me feel better! Jim S. Anyone who lives in the Texas Hill Country, with expensive, new toys, can't complain about being broke or having "deep empty pockets"!

Original equipment, ride for me. I have a heavy coach! My Lady has a '06 Phaeton 40 DP and runs Michelins, her reason is, security and ride.

Having used every brake system available over the past 40+ years, I now have the M & G system. Connect one air line to coach/toad and the brake away line. That's it....about $1,100+/- ! Makes no logical sense to me, to play "Russian Roulette", for the sake of safety and a couple of grand. You have not lived, until you have seen your own toad pass you, on the Interstate! Carl C. -
The inside is great, but only as good as the foundation it's riding on! Have you had the engine, transmission, chassis, drive axle, u-joints and generator serviced? How about the DOT number for age of all tires? Batteries...AGM or Acid? Does it have a built in Surge protection??

Cummins has a 24/7 tech help. Give them the code, I don't remember what my code was, when my Oil level sensor went bad, but it did what yours is doing! The sensor is around $35 and about 30 minutes to replace.

Byron. That's putting it mildly! Don't know how it is today. If it's still the same, I would think three times before doing it in a 37+! kkugler. You can catch a lot off the Utah NP's by toad from KOA just south of Grand Junction, CO. also Monticello, Utah. -

Then there is the rotation of the Earth...kid you not...I get around .4 mpg (6.8) better between West Coast and FL., than the opposite direction (6.2)!!! Fuel now is avg., $2.75 in Texas! 6 weeks ago, it was $2.27..
