Dan. The only one's that are difficult to find, are the one's you need at any given time!
-
Jim, how long will you be in the area? Perhaps you could meet up with Roland for a day...The 2 of you are very much alike!
-
Wayne. Herman was referring to older units, not the once that have come out today. There has been a lot of changes made over the past 30+ years, mostly positive! My first coach was a 1967 Winnebago Class A, new..$8,300. Compared to the insulation of today, I would not even want to step back into a 67'! Same applies to all Class coaches, including yours...the first Class C or modified C and today's, are 2 different animals. So, please do not take it as a personal attack...

Also, remember, I had a coach that the inverter was located under the boot dinette seat !
-
Both of mine are like Herman's!

Keith. When you come up to the lower 48 in May, have you thought about coming to the FMCA Convention in Gillette, Wyoming? We have a Forum Meet & Greet, we get a visual to the shadows on the Forum! The first time I meet Herman, he looked nothing like his Avatar, no black hat or shades! Since I have been down under on many occasions, would like to meet you in person! Where are you at? Carl C.

AC. I bought my 8 Michelin tires in Oregon 2014, Fleet price, plus FET...No tax in OR.

Where is the fuse for the water pump.

I have a in line at pump and a stab in under bed, in a box that also has the stab in's for all my pad lights! (10' Fleetwood, American Coach, Tradition)! -
Keith. I had my generator serviced 2 weeks ago. Same thing, it ran, showed 45A on each leg, nothing came on...got it run out on the slide and found the CB had been turned off, as soon as I flipped it on, everything came on! Call your brother, save a trip and stop the worry!
-
Roland, yes. However, if I may suggest, since you just plan to drive in and out. Wait until you leave Alpine and take the road to BBNP and go thru park to Marathon in your coach! Durring your stay in Alpine, take a day trip to Mt. Davis and the Observatory...another evening trip to Marfa, you may see the famous, unexplained Marfa lights!
-
Skyking. I would not buy the new JL Wrangler...push button start...you may have the same issue as the other warblers!
-
82/sun/ light wind yesterday. Wind is 20 today, with partly cloudy and 84...Think (hope & pray) winter is gone in Texas, or at least my part of it.
-
Sutcliffe. Welcome! One answer will suffice. As to your Question. The best is to roll with the same size tire, that came with your coach, from the manufacturer! You'll find that info on your weight placard..normaly in back or side of driver seat, on wall. Some factories put it on wall in closet rear! Carl

Short stick? From armpit to finger tip is 47"...no stick needed. My leg length used to be 38" Long for Jeans...to bad arms don't get shorter with age. By the time I get to 90, I'll be dragging knuckles !
-
Herman. Your wrong, go to any dealer and they will sell you a 2 wheel drive, 2 door or 4 door unlimited. Lot's of Mom's buy them! I had a Isuzu Trooper II, that was a 1985, 4x4 Manual, I had to start and run thru gears, every 300 miles! No big deal, the DW and dogs had to walk anyway!

They are open 24/7/365! Linda did a Pilot at 3am and got a person to do it.

Wonderful. Good Sam, did the same thing a dozen years ago! Wooopee for us! Family RVing? So, does that mean that the "New Charter" has been approved by the State of Ohio? Does that also mean that the Executive Board has by passed Governance? We never had an official vote as to what a qualifying RV was...it was tabled until Gillette Convention! -
Waynebyer. Air! I found out how to adjust the door, by calling REV group Tech! It would help us a great deal more, if you would list: Make, Model and year of your RV!
-
Skyking. Bad knee. Had a lot of Jeep Wranglers and only 2 where manual (did not come in auto). Have never had to go thru gears...kind of like "Plug & Play"! Have also had Chevy Colorado, 4x4, V8's automatic's...just as easy as the Jeep! Same with 2500 Silverado diesel 4x4. Don't know about Ford.
-
Roland. On that road, you'll never run out of fuel. I fill up in Van Horn or in Marathon if I take the Big Bend Loop! Alpine and Marfa is a must stop! We always stay at the Broken Mill RV Park in Del Rio and stock up on Supply's, going and coming...only take I-10, when we are in a hurry or bad weather! Look for Camels! They where imported, back in 1800's for the military, but proved to be too much trouble, so they where set free...now they roam free! These are one hump.

rhpears. Just let the Park that you chose, when making the reservation, know that you will be on a cruise! When you arrive, let them know again...also, do not leave your sever hose out and turn off water at spigot, before you leave for ship! I always take a cab to ship, lot cheaper than leaving a toad in a lot at cruise terminal...they also have a special lane for entry and exit. Saves you a lot of sit time! I have sailed out of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, about 40+ times, in the past 6 years...mostly RCCL or RCI.

I have seen plenty of rigs parked in the lots of Galveston...problem is keeping batteries/inverter going. Yes, you can set up the generator to start automatically...cost of a campground is cheaper and more secure!
