Kay. Congratulations, you made some kids & grown up kids, happy, I'm sure! If your coach is in there, I must have missed it...
-
Did you get doped? If yes, how did you get it off?
-
It would to me and Linda...would probably go to Bed, Bath & Beyond daily, making a wish list. New bed has got to have new bedding! When I got moved out of Allegro bus, I had all kinds off empty cabinets and bays....I went to BB&B ! No Wall Mart for this boy.

Comparing Coach Net, Good Sam & FMCA Roadside Assistance Coverage
manholt replied to huffypuff's topic in Roadside Assistance
Your talking 18 months + ago....have not looked since, but will next week! -
Bill. How's your math? Almost 12 days.
-
NK. Welcome to the Forum! Have you checked wiring to CB? If any are touching each other when pushed into wall...you get bleed over. Have you pushed the re set button? Make sure each wire is in the correct hole and the bare wire(ground) is good and tight.

Jim. Don't be too harsh on the OP, he/she could be "Oil field Trash", like I am/was, working a 28/28 schedule on a rig in Angola, Africa!
-
Is that a converted city bus? Never had dealings with one!
-
Joe. Don't sugar coat it, just say 44'....actually if you tape it, you'll probably come in at 45'! The chassis is 43', then you have the front and rear cap!
-
I guess, if your going to knowingly be 10'-20' over, then get a permit for the Highways you most often drive...they have them, but I don't know how much it is or for how long it's good. We measured mine yesterday and it's gross 64 feet, 3 inches! Had no idea a 45' coach, and a 2 door jeep was that long! Linda reminded me off all the Totters pulling 40' Stacker trailers that we see on the Interstate and other secondary roads! Sorry Joe, my bad !
-
Ross. Because you were the chairman of the committee that did the study and came up with the average age off 71. Now, does that mean that you had a part and or recommendation that we open up for towables? Only you can answer that one.
-
All 10 of mine are NAPA ! Had Interstate and they lasted 4 years.... can't do a comparison until 2019....If I'm still here, I'll let you know, if your still here! LOL
-
FIVE. Your right. However #2, may not solve the situation. 50/50 chance that all we get is more 71 year olds! I'll go along with #4....Linda Just renewed, 5 years, cheap. She feels that another $10-$15 a year, would still be a great deal. But, according to Chris, nobody will go along with that...guess Ross and he took a survey on that also! Spend $100,000 + on a coach and camp out at Wall Mart...

Unfortunately, the GB can only vote on such amendment at the Summer National Convention, we meet opening day. You don't have to be on the GB or EB to come in and listen! Your one of the owners of FMCA! Next meeting is in Gillette, WY.

Why? Is it going faster than the coach? Sorry, it's the devil made me inquire! I never really thought about it...I have had some really slow ones and the current one, it's not a rabbit, but comes out smooth and no jerks...

Like tires, I had all 10 of my batteries (ACID) replaced in Sep. 2016 with AGM's and they where 9-2016.
-
Coffeetrader. Welcome to the Forum!
-
The pressure stamp on tires are for COLD. Since Saturday morning was 33 degrees and never got above 55 here, you was running a cool tire. I suspect you might have put more air in that tire than what your gauge indicated....also, you said nothing about checking any other tires, so we have nothing to compare with!

I'm still on that parking lot. 5 coaches leaving later today for the LA. State Fair in Shreveport for a week of Volunteer work...they give us free full H/U and lots of food for 2 hrs of greeting folks as the come in! For Six State, I'm the Golf Captain and got to pay for H/U and Volunteer! I recommend that you have the batteries load tested, I suspect they need to be replaced.

There is more than boosting HP on a coach....first you need to call Allison Tech Department and find out if a HP increase would be compatible. Also, HP alone will not increase torque, your 8.1L and Allison 2100 is matched for your weight and tow capabilities. MPG can be tweaked by having your coach weight and proper air pressure in your tiers along with, front end alignment, camber and toe. Driving habit, gear shifting for max torque on hills also have an affect on mpg!

Year, length, engine? Would be helpful ! Welcome
-
The side lights are markers, you can get them at most auto part store and Wall Mart...they come in amber and red...look on other side of coach!
-
Jim. Your right about the dips, I hit some of them going south from Alpine...so did 3 other coaches & I swear one coach hit the break while airborne! I now know where to go 40 or less!
-
The frustration is not over the process...It's over the why? No real explanation has been offered as of yet....kind of like, "You will have to pass it, in order to find out what's in it"!
-
Joe. All next week, you need to look at that picture! Think 80 degrees, 10-15mph breeze and a cold glass of whatever!
