Comparing Coach Net, Good Sam & FMCA Roadside Assistance Coverage
manholt replied to huffypuff's topic in Roadside Assistance
Clay. Welcome to the Forum! What make, model and year coach do you have? If you list under your name, we can help you easier in the event something else goes wrong...it will ! -
Ross. In Indy we spent a great deal of time in discussion of what is a RV and the definition of what FMCA would accept as a RV. Both before the actual meeting and during the meeting. Yes, we did come up with an acceptable definition, but by our own laws, it needs to be presented prior to a National Board Meeting, in order to be formally voted on. Therefor it was tabled, until next Summer Convention in Gillette, Wyoming! Then it needs to be formalized by our Legal Department and sent to the State of Ohio as a Charter change...The State may or may not accept the new Charter! We have no control over that. If they do, then we will be a motorhome and towable Association! If the State of Ohio does not accept the change? We may or may not loss our current Charter! I'm not trying to be argumentative, only laying out the format as it is written and can be found under Governance. For any FMCA member, who wish to get a hard copy of the Charter, Constitution and the By-Laws, just write to FMCA (letter) and make the request. That also goes for the P & L statement. Carl

It would not surprise me if our EB leaders knew nothing about the correct way to do a mail in vote! Some of our GB members take our job seriously, so we try to stay on top of P & P and now the Constitution and By-Laws! Our Association has never been challenged in the way it is now and Dons an I, can't figure out the "Why"! I don't see how we as FMCA, can benefit from this change, in our Constitution! Then does that mean that there are a group of Individual's that will benefit with money? I don't see that either! Guess we just wait until January and then wait until July (if it passes) to find out what a towable or definition of a RV is! If the change goes thru then it will take 3 years before it will be implemented !

Learned a long time ago, when your bored, you can spend some serious money....glad it worked out for you!
-
Here we currently have Dove, Deer don't start until November. Everything is not bigger in Texas, we have no Moose or Elk....unless they are on a Exotic Game Ranch!
-
Where they regular allen's or the larger kind?
-
Jeff. Welcome! Remove filter and toss. Your good to go into hibernation! You must live near the Artic Circle...a tad early for storage? We generally get our Snow Birds after Halloween!
-
That's a truism..but we have better weather, like little if no snow! Besides, the Amish don't have a Ernie! If they did Ernie would not afford a Prevost ! All kidding aside....good luck with project.

SS? Yes! You can also use some of the 3M marine products...waterproof, strong and flex!

Surprisingly, I used a high viscosity gun oil that Linda had (her past husband was a gun smith and a mechanical engineer), I have no more squeal and it runs smooth ! Now to clean 3 condensers....With the aid of a 6 pack of beer, I solicited young help! Thanks all for your input and help! If I have any more problem with #2 AC unit, I will install the fan and motor that Linda got from amazon ! Will be here Wednesday...

OK, got some of that as well, I use it on my paper shredder!

So right you are...she put it on 3 = high out..

Recap. Ed joined Forum July 28, 2015 and made his first comment on a Post from 2012 dealing in Octane 85 fuel in high/low altitude. He's on IRV2, with Same OP as here! He/She/Son/Grandkid, could at least say "Thank you" as Brett did...then it's acceptable and everyone is happy!

Linda was traveling in my coach last month in NM and I was on CC at 67mph! She remarked about how wonderful it was to be able to do certain things, since I was, not her, driving. I told her, don't flush...she did, then she lost breakfast, flushed again as I was pulling over to stop...she lost previous dinner! She had opened and turned on the bathroom vent...UGH. I'm having RV Armor put on roof, the 13th of October, here at the ranch! Shall then be able to report...good or bad.
-
My understanding is that now your facing another treat from a L pressure center and a lot of rain! Snakes and Gators ought to be happy! Ditto Bill, X2!
-
Unless, you do have it in writing. Most CG's under those circumstances will wave any fees....not worth the negative advertisement. Do as BA said !
-
The old fashion 3 in 1 and the WD 40-3 in 1, I got. Just don't know that much about AC units! I do know that all 3 shrouds need to be removed and my condensers cleaned. Been 30 months....neither Linda or I do roofs anymore!! Thank you, I'll get her son up there today!
-
My number 2 AC, 15,000BTU is making a piercing high squealing sound, outside! Any ideas?
-
In at least 3 years, Ed learned nothing about any DP including his own HR...well done!
-
Still depends on the roof & what your screwing into! If it's Luan, then a Molly Bolt would be best, IMHO.
-
Brett. I do understand PC, but the first time was one comment, July 28, 2015...we try hard to be fair, courteous to all and give as much information as is necessary... No Feedback is frustrating! Yea, I know....I'm on TIME OUT...AGAIN!!!!

You should have a green Cummins booklet. The codes are towards the back. If you can't find the code, call Cummins or Thor Tech dept. Did you check your coolant?

Newbie Water Tank & Black Tank Flush Question
manholt replied to Squinko's topic in Water and Holding Tanks
Probably not enough pressure to move any water thru the filter and pressure valve. Your green handle is reversed...so was mine and still is! -
Look very carefully for any water intrusion in side walls, celling and especially between fridge and wall, if water got in through roof vent, it can lead to delamination...any "squishy" areas?
