  1. Allan, make, model of coach would help. Have you contacted the coach manufacturer and spoken to tech department? This is not a stand alone unit, is it?
  2. The original voting on whether or not we should even considerate the change to begin with...was determined by less than 1% of the 70,000+/- members who bothered to send a ballot in! Of the 680 votes returned the majority Won....and here we are! Too bad, that something as important as this is, only a small percentage will mail in their votes and that small %, will determine the future of FMCA!
  3. I would update the system, probably easier on the wallet and you will love the difference!
  4. Wayne, caveat to that "help thing". If you want it dismantled, call Herman, he's a way better demo man, than me! Other than that, I want to hear that your "on the road, again"!
  5. They offered you $500, take it and get the after marked fixed...should cost about $150 max each. Your ahead $200...I don't see an issue here! Now, I hope for your sake, that the Owner of the RV Armor Franchise. don't sue you for Defamation of Character and/or Malicious Slander! Had you told us up front, that Thor had taken care of their end of this...My SO would not have scratched Thor of the list for a new coach, she was looking at the 45' Tuscany! I'm looking at a new 40', tired of a 45 foot ! Thanks to you, now we have to re-evaluate everything!
  6. Yea! Not a warm, fuzzy feeling...a coach may be different, don't know! I rear ended a 2006 Ford 150 double cab in Galveston during the rain storm, 24 December 2016, at about 5 mph in my Jeep. Peeled back the bed, destroyed the bumper, tail gate on (aluminum Ford). USAA came up with $9,200 for fix, wholesale value $5,960...totaled. Jeep = zero damage! Owner of truck refused to settle...2 month later, DW sues USAA for bodily injury...that was filed on my DL...2 weeks ago, got it off of my DL since there was no Police Report and USAA deemed that it was truck's fault for having no lights, all the bulbs was burned out...
  7. If I remember correctly, the Dometic and Nocold was real sensitive when it came to level....with a residential unit, you don't have that problem.

Yes, Father Jim. cpenn, see what I mean?
  9. That's when we had the 1" end of year edition!
  10. Think wholesale! Pre blow out, my boat was insured for $140,000, I got $78,000+/-, owed the Bank $64,000+/-...the difference was equal to one year premiums!
  11. Wayne, as long as you don't think your Herman...we shall enlighten you My front is on suction cups in window and also a ladder mount...I have the raised letter!
  12. When my Scarab Race boat blew up....it took Progressive Insurance 3 months to settle...I asked why so long, "we had to get a salvage company to bring it out of the Galveston Bay and then we had it inspected, when it was deemed to be a total loss, we settled"! Progressive insures everything, but as Jim said, they only know cars! The bog down will be the $$$ and those who counter claim, Boo Hoo, my stuff is worth a lot more that those other peoples!
  13. Guess I need to do this again! My last reply was 9 hours ago! I'm having problems with this post...Why would you put a new roof on a new RV that is under warranty? I don't think we have 100% of the whole story here! I have 2 fantastic vents, both with the Airmaxx cover so I can use it in the rain! But Rob, you have 48 other things that is bad with your coach...Have you gone too or contacted Thor ? "Don't ever have to worry about roof for life"! Another dumb question/make no sense!
  14. ISP JS. your putting the cart before the horse! Get the coach first, then the trailer!
  15. Did you turn on engine this morning and get air in all bags again Welcome to the Forum!

Charles. Stick around long enough and you'll be mentally challenged like the rest of us!
  17. Thank you, for staying in touch ! If you come across a coach that you and your wife (especially wife) want, then please list the make, year, model and VIN#. We have members that can do a background check on any problems, like a accident in the past or engine problems, and give you a feed back. Good hunting!
  18. Why would you put a NEW roof on a NEW coach? If your Aria roof was bad, you have a warranty! Sorry, but I don't think we are getting the full, 100% story here!
  19. It is, what it is...bla, bla, bla! To me, max gasser length is 34'..you can throw a Banks on it, but your still stuck with 5K tow restriction! Ugh. Biggest robber is the weight of the slide's!
  20. Tom. That's a beautiful thing, quite a long time since I have seen a McLaren on/off a drag strip! Thanks for sharing. I had to give up on the APBA and IPBA in 2000, it was doing a thing to my kidneys...ran a open class 47 foot Skater, with twin 1,000hps. Also ran a 32 foot Scarab, with twin 502's stock.

If you have jacks, use them to take some of the load off your bags and tires. Otherwise it's normal.
  22. Brett. We where humming along quite nicely until sometime yesterday! Sorry, guess we just sort off, fell of the cliff. It was the "Twins" fault !
  23. Dealers are mostly all greedy! They jack the $$$ up, I don't care if it's a pedal bike or a Newmar King Air. Think of it as a game, your not suppose to know what the actual dealer cost is or the actual manufacturing cost. By going on a factory tour and then ordering from the factory, they will contact a dealer and tell them what your paying...now, at that point you can take delivery at the factory! That will piss the dealer off because he can't put all the add ones, on. Like delivery charge and undercoating (it already has that and there is no delivery charge). The PDI is done at the factory! You can even go watch "Your" coach being built. MSRP is just a number...pick one!
  24. The twins, strike again! Please, someone, close the gate to the asylum...
