  1. Lester. Welcome to the Forum! Whatever the nomenclature, definition thereof....I still voted NO! Had they stuck with the original plan, then I would probably have gone with a yes!
  2. FIVE. Big difference between GVWR and actual weight with people and gear and toad! My toad 2013 Jeep Wrangler, with half tank of fuel & survival gear, is 4,400+ pounds! No, it's far from stock. Since taking Linda onboard (she is shedding more and more carry on weight), I weight it this June, way over GCWR. Went back to house and she took out all the rocks (she makes Jewelry), tumblers and rock hound equipment along with 3 arm loads of clothing, 2 covered patios 12' X 12', 3 full tool boxes...that shed over 2,400 pounds! Now, she understands that what she carries in her 40' Phaeton DP, does not fit in my 45'!
  3. Joe. Yes you have plenty of time to look at good used coaches in the 42-45 range along with your wish list...you also have, an over amount of big name and brand dealers, within 150 miles of where your staying. Also, don't forget the annual Super Show at the Tampa Fairgrounds in January, followed by the RV show down by you...most dealers are represented in both Shows! Good hunting and keep coming back to us, we love to hear how folks are doing in their hunt !
  4. Another choice would be Northern Tools...They have them on line and in their 2017 Fall/Winter master catalog!
  5. Well, Golly, here I thought it was Texas, Montana and Alaska...in that order.
  6. BillA. If you really want to beat out the Joneses, get a Bang & Olafson! Now, back to OP & Reality TV. As Brett, Tom & others have said, there are a lot of choices that will fit your needs and not break the bank! Also, I don't know if the latest technology will work well for a "Rolling Earthquake" !
  7. Pressure Pro. Have had other brands at 50% less cost, then found that they where not compatible with my computer system & I needed another separate screen mounted on dash! PP is programed into my Silver Leaf system. As Tom said, not cheap! Then again what is cheap on a Motor Coach?

    Brand New

Welcome to the Forum! Looking good. Australian Shepard?
  9. Richard.. Welcome to the Forum! WOW....1974 GMC, a great classic and about the best riding coach ever! Wish you had posted a photo of it. I had to miss the 1976 FMCA Rally, but I made 77 & 78! Was still working back then, most of my jobs where International, so a hit/miss for FMCA! Had a 1973 Landau 26 foot, gasser. I wanted a FMC or GMC...not the DW!
  10. I have both air and jacks, can do it on manual (I prefer that) or auto. The Jack portion, I can run one jack at a time. Same with air after I dump air out of Tag axle. System is Power Gear. My 2011 Allegro Bus, had HWH Jacks only, but I could still go to Manual and do one jack at a time! In 1987 I had a new Barth with HWH and those jacks operated as RAYIN said. RedandSilver, never put blocks under your Jacks to work under coach unless you have a death wish!

    Tire Air Pumps

BillE. My air brake sets itself at 65psi and I can't move coach until my air builds back up to about 75psi...my upper limit is 127psi! Tireman, surprised that you said nothing about getting moisture in tires...ref: Air drier.
  12. Nice! In a 30 foot coach, the 32" is more than enough! Like the storage and plexi-glass also. My Linda did the overlap and bungee also, went from a 37" Sony, that weight a ton to a 45" Vizio that weights 37 pounds!
  13. Know of no new link or ad yet! Per smithy on this forum a couple of weeks ago, "we are working on it"! Same info from EB 5 weeks ago at Lone Star 50th anniversary in Durant, OK.
  14. FIVE. Really confused. It's not fagnami's OP...that belongs to Jmholb57. Gas Jayco does not have a Allison, 3k or 4k, it's a Ford chassis.
  15. Vizio was my choice when I changed out in June....did the same as Herman!

    2017 Thor 35SD

Inverter should allow fridge to run, when your not on Generator or Shore Power!
  17. Brett is going to delete me and put me on time out...however I must say that we are now talking to our self. I'll save Brett the time...I'm on time out !
  18. Brett is right. Trying to use a Solenoid rated for a Fiat 500 will do nothing for a DP.
  19. Yes Herman and it was not just Chevy in those years! You was better off putting a wet towel in the window space that trying to run AC!
  20. I carry 3 of Rinoflex. Overkill? No, I have been in parks (older ones) that I had to run the line under the coach & still had to borrow a section to dump! I had to use 30 feet at the last rally (new park) because all connections was at rear of the cement slab!
  21. macandphyl, your 100% correct. It don't matter if it's a $85k gasser or a $2 million custom! I spoke with a man who felt that QC could be eliminated if all RV's was built by Robotics! Really? Robot's is only as good as the information given the computers...bad info in = bad info out. Programmers, have bad days also!
  22. RedandSilver. Has nothing to do with my Bank account. I cannot (due to physical complications) !
  23. RAYIN. Glad to hear you found it. I also, wonder if bbngham is still having a problem?
