You respond well, when I pull your chain... -
Jeep Wrangled or Patriot/Compass

FIVE, you forgot about chassis as being a limitation on tow weight limits! -
Jim. You may keep your nocold, with my blessing! Dometic (the original) was dependable...not so now!
-
FIVE. It was a tongue in cheek response! Don't get your hackles up...
-
Foretravel, Newell and Newmar all cater to handicap's!
-
That, I did not know!
-
Thor now owns Jayco! WB bought everything CC in 2016. Renegade is now a REV company! Nothing on Newmar....unless it was last night.
-
USAA will cover your toad 100 miles into Mexico....but, by Mexico Law, we still need to purchase a separate Mexican Liability Policy, from a Mexican Insurance Company!

If there is 2 off you, get a Jeep Wrangler, If you plan on hauling more than 2, buy for the crowd not you! To me, a toad is for Linda and I and our life style....not yours! My coach can entertain 8 comfortably, feed 6 and sleep 2...you want to stay the night? Bring your own RV! Sorry, but I don't Sugar Coat anything!!! -

Area 51 is off of US 95! Slight diversion, no matter what you heard, that road is still as secure as ever...No, you can not take it to Broom Lake! Now, have anyone but me noticed that Byron never say's what year he was rolling an 18 wheeler across that stretch of road. Could have been with Barney of the Flintstones! -
Mike. If you find 102, please let us know! 50+ years and I'm still learning something new each day!

This time last year, we where at Maverick RV park, Lajitas. Since they shut down the crossing to Lajitas, Mexico, we now use Presidio, Mexico for it's restaurants and shopping! We go by Jeep. We also like to stop by Big Bend State Park (Not to confuse with Big Bend National Park) on the way back to Lajitas. We do take the coach and toad thru BB National Park on the way home...short drive in miles, long in time...speed limit is 45mph! All areas of that part of Texas is beautiful to me and Linda and if you play golf, Black Jacks in Lajitas is among the 10 best and scenic in Texas!

You'll get no scotch!

Life is different West of the Mississippi River! As in "The Lion King". " Son, we don't go to the East side, that's the dark side"!
-
Jim. Rating is 75, brand is NAPA, they bought Best Western. Bill, we all know about your love for Crown Acid...Do you have a lot of stock in that company? LOL
-
Ditto. Had a Tiffin Allegro Bus, 17, 800+ documented miles in 30 months, between Dealer in Tampa, FL., and Factory in Red Bay, AL. It was either broke or a recall on a second from best of their Models. POS. My $$$ would go on a Newmar! There was a time, up to a year ago that I was considering Prevost, Newell or Foretravel! But, we all get older and our priority change.

Joe. Must be a East Coast thing. I'm in a KOA Mount Pleasant, TX., Lot's off fifth's and 7 DP's...Everybody got together last night for a Meet & Greet, except for a couple from Buffalo, NY. We had a very informative get together! I went to one National GS Rally in Phoenix, AZ., 4 years ago and it was about 60% Trailers, 40% coaches, everyone I met was happy, friendly campers...who was surrounding me and we all had pot luck HH each afternoon at 4pm. I was there because my best friends had fifth's and never been to a rally....We thought James and DW would be the only fifth that also had 2 horses, no way, about a dozen with the same set up from Maryland.
-
Jim. Magnum also. 2 PSW 2,800w each. That's 4 AGM 6 volt's per bank ! I got really tired of flooded batteries and that's the house, also got 2 - 12v for engine! All replaced by NAPA last September, $2,600 installed.

We are on the road now, but before leaving Linda's place, I asked her if she had a 150 + psi air compressor (she has about everything else), Linda took me around a building that I had not paid attention too. Ingersoll Rand 80 gallon, 175 psi lines running underground to all the barns including the RV shed, with hose attachment points! I was in air heaven, until I asked where is the dryer and when was it used last....deceased husband got rid of drier and no use since 2014. I turned it on, got it up to 40# and opened the tank drain, water, gallons of water. when we left it was still emptying out...her son called yesterday and he had it get to 150#, then bled it off to 50 and opened the valve and let it drain! I will use it eventually and it will have a drier, also Linda's son is going to cap off the current underground lines and run a new system....we suspect that the current lines have a lot of rust in them as the system was open, now closed.. How would you like some of that in your tires?
-
jmholb57. Congratulation on your new coach....what is it? Make and Model would be useful for future reference! When you use Brett's approach, "Suck on the drain" don't swallow!

Recommendation For State To Title A New Country Coach

Bob Lee and wife are traveling the country in their 2016 Allure, the first and last CC built since 2008 that came out in 2010 with the Veranda! RIP. -
Basically, like the step. In your owners manual it should list the manufacturer of your cover, if it's a Kwiki, it's now by Lipper industries! On the internet you can look it up by model number and you'll find a parts list and schematic for electrical & mechanical operation of your unit. If you don't have anything showing your step, then call Monaco at REV ask for Tech dept. and have your VIN# handy. Hope this will help you!

US 93, is the second loneliest Hwy. in the US! However, there are some RV parks now, between Idaho and Las Vegas! ObedB was looking at that Mountain in his OTR when Moses was parting the Sea! -
The 4, I have had (including my current coach) where/are Electric!
