  1. Yeah. Sometimes your better off throwing in the towel & spring for a new unit..
  2. jraffler. Welcome to the Forum! Look under Tires on this Forum and read what the Tireman has to say...he's our Tech expert on all tires!
  3. Ross. The above 2 are perfect examples...CW renewed and Byron is a old member!
  4. Any ground higher than the nearby stream or river in GA., SC., NC. or AL is a blessing!
  5. Dish=same money per month for your contract, DIRECTV=an increase of over half for last year of contract....I'm not a sport nut, nor do I care much for movies. I do want options on world news and local. Also History, travel, Animal, Food and National Geographic channels. Dish is the best for my wish and since I have the motorized dish/DISH on my roof and receiver, I might as well re instate the service....cancelled 4 years ago. I also learned today, that DIRECTV is having a wobble, lose of picture problem, because one of their satellites is dysfunctional and crashing!
  6. Good grief Joe. I have 2 natural gas AH's for my 3,700sq. foot house and it was $4,800 installed !
  7. Seems that way...but, for me, I learned something that I have been wondering about. Therefore all is not lost, but it's getting frustrating!
  8. As off noon yesterday it was reported as 73,661.
  9. "If true" ?..I will show them to Rett in about 4 hours at breakfast. First time I brought it to anyone's attention, was Charlie in Chandler, AZ.
  10. Nelson1948. Welcome to the Forum! Don't know where your at as a refugee and we all feel sad about the prospect of a CAT 3 rolling up the FL peninsula. That said, I would have your GS situation taken care off where your currently at. It will probably be month's before "your Jeep dealer" can look at your Jeep!
  11. SW32. As Joe said...raw diesel smell=leak or improper nozzle. Sorry that you had to spend that kind off money, for nothing!
  12. Byron. A few, great. How about a dozen or more a day? I'll forward them to you!
  13. DD69. Looking forward...I'm due in 3 years for a change, unless I get another coach!
  14. We need more info! Did you convert your gas stove to an electric or induction? How about fridge and where is it located in regards to stove?
  15. The only feed back that I can give you, I drove one, is that there is no play in the steering wheel at all...you move it and the car goes there...like a Go Cart, so it takes some getting used to it. What I really liked is that I'm 6' 8" and I had plenty of room and did not feel cramped. Only reason for not buying it, I'm also 74 and I don't bend as easily any more...getting out was a real trill.
  16. DD69. Please keep us updated on how the beads are performing and if you have any problems with them...do you use them in all your tires?
  17. I must have been in the Men's room with Rett, he doesn't remember either...funny thing about the memory, the numbers we got just was tabulated 2 days ago! You on that committee, Ross?
  18. DD69, I was referring to what it does to a DP and Air Filter. Inside dust happens all the time, that's what my Dyson Stick is for! None of my stick and brick houses move, but the still need cleaning...the joy of ownership!
  19. Knowing the year, make and model of your coach, would help us in determining what your problem is!
  20. Jim. You can improve the rear by getting a bigger diameter sway bar. For the front take a look at Safe-T-Plus, have used that combo for 6 coaches (Gas) from 1981 to 2005. I did the Safe-T-Plus on a Winnebago Tour 2007, 40 foot, DP and it made a huge difference in handling. The other coaches was Dodge, Ford and Chevy chassis, 30'-32' foot.

    Hercules Tires

bpschnei. Welcome to the Forum! From what I know about that brand, is that it's a OTR truck tire, so your ride may be a little harsher than it is now! there was a discussion on the Hercules about 18 months ago...if you go to search on top right of main page and type in Hercules tire you should find it.
  22. Brett. Since I'm apparently on time out, again! I say that because I have been deleted from my comment on this subject pre Herman and post Herman!
  23. aunatralcampers. Welcome to the Forum! It's all a matter of personal needs these days. 90% of the parks I stay in, have 12 to 80 cable channels, I also have the power razor on roof and in big city's I get all the news, sports that I need. The PC gets me by in the Mountains and rest of needed info, I get by iPhone. There really is a thing called TMI when your unemployed. Watch a movie? Go rent one!
  24. Per Jon Walker, FMCA National President. Membership is 73,000+ for a net gain of over 6,000+ for the past physical year...September to September! Wonder why that was not announced by the EB in Indy?
