  1. I read..."my new kitchen faucet"! There may be another strainer where the water line connects to the faucet. Turn water valve off for kitchen, should be under sink, get a bucket and disconnect water line or lines to faucet. Place lines in bucket and turn on valve. Carl
  2. DJ. There are 2, 1 1/2 inch long by 3/16 inch bolts on each motor that holds a square shaft onto the shaft of motor (bolt goes thru both shafts) and a self looking nut...mine broke in half so only one shaft was able to bring one corner in. I had to sit in bay and look up to see it. Don't warp the shafts or you'll be looking at big $$$ instead of $4 for a 3 pack at any hardware store or Home Depot. Get good SS, not Chinese! Carl
  3. Let's see, it's Monday...must be pick on Carl Day!
  4. Dons2346. Good to see your still alive! Sometimes I feel like a Salmon going down stream in egg laying season! I was at Diesel Club rally prior to Rawhide. Rett Porter and Ken Carpenter gave a presentation of why we have to open up for towable's! They did make a convincing presentation! However a lot of it was without substance. "We, FMCA, are losing money, we are close to going Bankrupt"..where is this coming from? Do we have 2 set's of books? I have seen nothing in the P & L statements for the last 4 years, that gives an indication of FMCA slipping down into Bankruptcy! Carl
  5. Tim. There is a button or switch, mine is on left side of steering wheel on dash, that says AUX. When my starter batteries was going bad and did not have the amps to start the engine. I pressed the aux switch and it started right up (it uses the house batteries as a boost). Herman snuck in! I suspect that the solenoid you pulled was for auxiliary start. I also think you have a dead cell in one of your batteries.
  6. I like keep it simple! The last one I saw, made 3 gal. but it was not simple (home made)...
  7. Any Plasma fabrication shop can duplicate it. However $75 is cheap, when you consider how long the other one lasted.
  8. mncbluford. Welcome to the Forum! Carl

  10. I think the 3 off you should post a picture off the Margarita machines. Since we are no longer on Dennis new coach. Carl

    Maxxforce Engine

Roland. Any engine pre 2007 is good! EPA re-generation became effective 07...DEP became effective 2010. Go Newmar, you got my Vote! Carl
  12. If it's red, that's my wine! Agree with Wayne.. 4 years ago, I loved anything Tequila or Scotch. Now, my liver only tolerate wine and beer in limited quantities! Good news is, I now appreciate a good wine and am amazed at all the countries that produce excellent and reasonable priced wines! Same goes for beer. Carl
  13. John. Bottom line is how each individual member of a club or chapter feel or believe should be done, they take a vote and pass on to me, how they want me to vote at the National Convention July 11th! As a National Director for the Swinging Golfers INTO aka SWG INTO. It is my responsibility to represent and Vote on any Amendments or Officer, per the members off SWG. Not what I feel or want ! Do you belong as a member of a club? That's the best way to make your own opinion heard via the ND for that club. I read what you have to say and the same with all others! I can't vote for you. Carl
  14. Paul. Welcome to the Forum! Thanks for the information! Herman, I have the same handy tool.
  15. I looked at the link, and the comments. One that struck my thought was the "If I can't get a FREE ticket, then I can't go"! If $12 is an issue? How then can you afford anything that is being promoted? I have never run across Chapter dues, that are more than $25 a year! FMCA rally's can add up if you want 50A. Your choice on how many Area Rally's you want to attend...or Pre Rally. Carl
  16. Walt, you found the answer. The other is, don't buy a Equinox to tow...there are so many others out there, why complicate it ?
  17. Chris. Welcome to the Forum! I have the same system! After you air up and the engine is running, press Travel button, the coach will come off leveling and air up to travel mode...if you then want to level, push air and auto or manual and re level. I level coach first, then take the slides out (4), then allow coach to find it's own level and turn off ignition. The air pump will run periodically to keep coach level. Carl
  18. Strats. On behalf of us all. Thanks for keeping us informed. Not going near your turn signal... Carl
  19. Tim. Welcome! Have you checked the start switch in the rear of your coach? It may be off ! Carl
  20. mike. Welcome. That's one of the best Class C, built. You should have lots of good travels and enjoyment for years to come! Carl
  21. Grindy. Welcome! It would help everyone if you would list: Make, year, model of what you insured. Carl
  22. Tom. Love it. Not fond off having something showed down my throat...I'm 74 and have learned that "Volunteer or not, nobody does something for nothing"! Runs the gambit from personal satisfaction to $$$. Having been a member of FMCA, under 3 different #'s since 1973, I like to think I've seen and heard it all....got a lot of friends in "Low Places", that keep me informed. Not always 100% correct. So, If I'm misinformed about the Logo stuff, then I stand corrected and accept that. Not the first or last time! Jeff. As you posted, your a closed group on Facebook and mostly under 60. I don't do Social Media...Facebook, Twitter, etc. Most of my friends don't either and it's got nothing to do with age, but Privacy! I'm not against you, I'm for you and what your trying to do! However, there has to be another way to keep all the members, notified of ENERGIZED other than the Forum (that's available to FMCA and non FMCA) and Facebook ! One more thing for all : I wonder, what is the average age of owners off towable? Carl
  23. I don't know if an aerial view was taken, but would love to see one! 2,600+ coaches in any FMCA Rally, is more than I have seen in many, many years! Now, think of the bedlam if another 2,000+ pull behinds had been there... 90% off them have to have electric hook ups, most can't go long on their own holding tanks! I was at the San Antonio, TX. FMCA Annual Rally. We had over 4,000 coaches at the Fairgrounds...after the event, the City said, no mass (no more)! First and last. That's when FMCA started talking about 2 rallies per year! Carl
