Ray. We have been lucky the last 7 months, they have all found a bolt to hang on! Carl

Brett, Kay. That's some pretty neat stuff, thanks for the link....I have a unglazed tile and it's a bear to keep clean! Carl

Mine are all accounted for! Except for some folks I know...

Welcome! I have had Brake master, nothing wrong with them except having to remove from brake petal before use of toad. I have had the Invisi brake and it worked OK, but my foot kept running into cable each time I drove toad, then last year, at Perry, GA. FMCA rally, I had the M&G installed. I'm very satisfied with this system and the ease of hook up or un hook is so nice. No effort and very durable, have had to make no adjustment to it and I really abuse my toad in the Mountains of NM and Colorado! Highly recommend it. Carl

I have screws that I occasionally find, have no clue where they came from...in coach? Yes!, but where?

Apart from the generator. How has the coach behaved on this long trip? Also, how is Hana doing? Carl

Baltimore to Orlando October 2017
manholt replied to hayesfamily's question in Destinations/Attractions
Keon. Since you take regular gas, any station off the Freeway will accommodate you...I'm the one who has problems due to size. SC does seem to have the best price! I can't help you on BBQ, not my favorite meal. Palmetto RV Park, just North of GA, boarder, off I-95 is good and there is a large gas station there. Have fun! Carl- 11 replies

Vero Beach, FL: Need Place To Park (Empty) A Week Or So Near
manholt replied to jlorek's topic in Campgrounds
I agree! Best and safest way. Carl -
Wayne. I know. I'm surprised your coach did not come with one, my 07 did. It is a great thing to have, I leave mine on manual while traveling and then switch to auto in campground. It came on 1 time in Florida, while we was out looking at Alligators...Lucky loved them, she would just sit and look! Crazy. Was told on our return that the parks transformer blew and there was no juice for 4 hours! Carl

Herman. Thanks, I needed that as a reminder of why we live in Texas! LOL Joe. After 49 years off motor homes, can't agree with you more! Someone dropped the ball....again! I'm more interested in knowing if it's a C9 or C9S engine? Due to the mileage, I'm guessing C9. As BillAdams said, have the inspection done first...(Joe, your backyard). Carl

ck. Thanks for information. I do remember the Sportscoach and it's been a long time since I last saw one of the originals! I have had Class "A's", gas/diesel since 1967. What threw me also, was ref to something that has happened and won't happen again until next year! Carl

Tarheel. Just right click on his ghost image and it will say message, click on that. I hope his is not a C9S engine! Carl

I fully understand that part, but I did not pick up on that question from OP, after re reading his concern, I can now relate...sorry, my bad. I do wish we knew how long it's been there? 3 or 4 months is no problem, several folks who live up North, leave their DP's sitting outside thru winter. Year after year! Ask JLeamont, he's in PA. ObedB is also in PA. Carl

Question. I'm not as bright as I used to be, but what does SOI stand for? Carl

The front is now moving and you should be good by Monday! Carl

Huh?

That's a good thought, Brett. Joe, you may want to go with the 315 up front, I found it to be a smother ride, besides that it's getting difficult to find new 295's! Wish I had done all of mine at 315 in OR. instead of 6, 295's and 2, 315's! I only got all, because OR has no Sales tax...that saved me a bundle! Carl

Buy a pole, then you can sit and turn on switch by shower...LOL

That storm has stalled out and it's ice rain all the way from Amarillo and North to Chicago! I would suggest I-30 to I-20 to I-10. I'm slowly going to AZ also, but not until the 22nd out of Ft. Stockton...this time off the year I-40 is not your friend. What is "new to you?? And color?"! Carl

Puff. What goes in, will come back out...good luck on doing it in one piece! When your generator problem started, was it in a campground or where you on the road driving? I'm thinking a relay is going bad or a bad connection in your on/off switch in coach. Carl

Your both nuts and cold hearted..

Joe. What now? Your dash must look like a airplane cluster by now! Carl

Time for an update on my exhaust problem! Spartan Chassis had a recall in August 2015 for the flex pipe, that Joe was referring to. I received the notice from Spartan this past December and after calling Spartan, had it shipped to Cummins in Houston and they did the install this past Wed. Now, I have no smell of exhaust in coach and both exhaust #1 & 2 are at the same temp +/- 20 degrees at 525. Coach ran good coming to Schulenburg, TX. all parameters on Silver Leaf was at the proper numbers, not mpg as I had a 30/40 mph head wind....got 4.7 at 60 on CC. Big thanks to everyone for your input... This "Rolling Earthquake" is on the road to AZ. Carl

The only pattern, I see here, with age comes oops! I have had class "A's" since 1967 and had to wait until last year, to do my oops! The back end of my coach took out part of the front end of another coach, at the 6 State Rally. $7,200 out of my pocket... My new bay door was $472, fabricated at a Plasma shop in San Antonio, TX. That means Red Bay, charged $800 bucks too much.. and they make the part in house! I use Texas Custom Coach in Pipe Creek, TX. Labor $75 an hour, custom built items $80 an hour! Herman still digs me about it.. Carl

Owners manual...yea, either TMI or not enough! But you really need to go thru it all on a rainy day or two, it will save you time and aggravation later on!
