  1. I just got off general discussion....my new post, "Ref: Coach and Toad Info." It's gone, disappeared. OK, Todd, what is going on? Back at you Bill...you got a heart. Since we are all grown up, the arrow up/down will work. Right? Not !!! I can see what all this will look like in 48 hours! Carl
  2. What happened to my coach and toad information under my name?
  3. Herman. I have 315's on front axle, 295's on drive axle (Dully) and 295's on tag. Like Brett and Tireman, I like that extra margin in front, also rides softer! Carl
  4. Rich. You are so right. There is not much that is constant or un changing anymore....glad I got my 8 new once in 14' ! Wonder what I get in 20' or 21' ? Was nice meeting you and Brett in Perry. Carl
  5. Mike. I buy 8 new tires every 6-7 years, have not found anything on a tire warranty (that you pay for), that covers anything that the new tire warranty does not cover! Don't forget depreciation. Don't know if I made myself clear. Carl
  6. Sorry, I notice that here we have the "up arrow and heart on right side....Also, what is the, box with+ and Quote for?
  7. Hi all. I use "Thunderbolt" on my bike. Spray on, wipe off...great shine and protection. http://www.thunderboltpolish.com/ On toad, after I hit it with HP water, I use Lucas, Spray mist..get it at any Auto Parts, Wall Mart. I also use it on coach and Love Bugs don't stick around. My glass cleaner is from Auto Zone with ammonia. It will remove anything that fly's at you, just spray on and wipe off! If you have a Plexiglas bug cover in front...like Joe...spray and wipe with Pledge (I use Lemon, smells nice), I use it on my bike! Happy Spring travel. Carl
  8. Joe. Only works in Texas and ObedB's house! Carl
  9. I did notice that now I can respond to a PM, regardless of what system I'm on...iPhone, iPad or my Laptop! Great.
  10. My Question is, why do we have a +1 or -1 on each left side of a answer....I hate the "Like/don't Like" on Facebook! Carl
  11. Paranoid....look at all the houses on Galveston that is left shuttered for months, sometimes years at a time! Last year, I was home a total of 22 days! Friends from LA. came in for Dickens weekend and for Dr. appointments. I have been robbed one time in 26 years here...After IKE, 1st responders got away with 36 stackable, plastic chairs and 8, 6' tables! I had moved in to my current house in June 08', IKE hit Sept. 08'...being a member of El Mina Shrine, Galveston...there are cops by my cull de sac, 24/7 when I'm gone! Feeling pretty good, just don't have a voice and the stiches are slowly dissolving. My next appointment is 4/13 for any adjustments, then it will be in early Sep. for installation of permanent teeth...that is also, when I can have a Steak again! Just hope I don't loss to much weight...the last 8 days has been liquid only, same for the next 8! Then it's all soft food for the next 18 weeks. Is RogerS bugging you yet?
  12. Ray. I know it's frustrating for you...but May sounds about right. It's got nothing personal with you to do. Just in the order it is received! Sorry, Carl
  13. Roger. Your still missing the point. Carl
  14. Bill. So does mine. I run it until basket is full, then turn off water flow....takes about 3 days before I turn water back on. Their fridge may be a "Nocold"! Carl
  15. Wayne. You telling me you live on the wrong side of town? While your in WA. you should stop and see Huffy Puff. The weather promises to behave for the rest of the month! April is one off our 2 months a year with perfect weather! Carl
  16. Newell still build mid entry, especially in their 38' and 40', very popular! Carl
  17. One statement that makes no sense to me. "You want to stay in Luxury Private Campgrounds, because you have a Luxury 45 footer"! What does that have to do with the OP's question? FIVE, you're correct.....wondered about that statement also! It also, does not belong to OP's question! I have not had a problem financing anything as a retiree. I suggest, OP puts the question to their Banker or Broker! Carl

    New Guy Here

I don't know in what part of the country your at, but during the Summer, there are RV rallies everywhere. FMCA's next big one is August 3, in West Springfield, Mass. You can Google for Good Sam and Hershey. All 3 are great areas to visit and learn first hand what you want vs. what you need! Enjoy the next 22 months. Carl
  19. Rewillia. I retired in Feb of 1985 at 42 years young! My first RV, was a class "A", 1967 Winnebago in 1967! $6,800 cash at the LA, CA. Auto show. As the years and different models of new and used Class "A" came my way, I have paid in 2 ways, both depended on what I made in interest vs. what the bank charged in interest! Taken enough out of Savings to buy and then, put up, for collateral (newer a house, land, boat or coach) a CD and let interest make payments or just pay cash! I worked as a consultant, therefore I could not prove continuity of income. Still can't! Lending institutions are happy if you can prove $3,333.03 per week ! They understand static, not $15,000 this month and $40,000 last month....I have no clue what my "Credit Score" is! Nor, do I care. Carl
  20. FIVE. Was that on the 14' or previous? Carl Pamala. Do you and hubby golf? Have some good friends at Medowe Lakes and Horseshoe, I was there 6 weeks ago, stayed at Sunset point! Carl
  21. Joe. That's a great idea, under the circumstances I'll send via email! Carl
  22. Wayne,, Herman. Totally agree with you! Carl
  23. You're not alone...cars, boats, planes and RV depreciate! House appreciate. Your coach did not do anything different then mine in 2005-2013! A 05' Monaco Dynasty 42' DP, in 13' was worth about $80k.
  24. Joe. What is a 5 ton porta power? Carl
