  1. Correct Herman. But I, like Brett, would like to know more about the coach...30A or 50A. Would be nice to hear back from Mattboy Carl!
  2. Blue Beacon Truck Wash 4x a year, wash/wax $ 64, toad included. Lucas as needed & Auto Zone glass cleaner for front windows. Lucas on side windows. Carl
  3. Kay...LOL. I have washer and drier, staked. Love it. As for dishwasher, I tried it a couple of times after throwing a dinner party. Did not like it, so now it is storage for all paper products. I can wash dishes, pots and pans (after feeding 5 friends and me) in 30 minutes or less and I know they are clean. Show the dishwasher to a woman, who has none and they want it! Will they use it? Have only met one! The rest, use it mostly for storing pots. Good luck and enjoy the trips! Carl
  4. Ultraglide. Good Morning. El Paso and Albuquerque, have Cummins and bigger than Las Cruces. As for DEF, I also don't like it! Rich is right. Good Luck Carl
  5. Spot on, Kay. Another good reason to have a hard wired surge protector in coach and/or a portable at outlet. Mattyboy, did the electrician check to see what kind off amperage you needed? Was he/she a licensed electrician? Carl
  6. I had all 64 lights replaced with LED at Lazydays in Tampa, where I bought my current coach. The one thing I was told is never use your bare hands to re-place or change a bulb, seems that oil from hands will shorten or make bulb inoperable. I have replaced all my house lights also and used latex gloves. My 2 cents. Carl
  7. Had the same problem, turned out to be loose ground and the back up monitor was on for day! I might be wrong, but I believe that the Winnebago Journey also has docking lights. Carl
  8. If your not a Cummins Club member, ask for app and pay the $25 before repair, you get 10% off bill! Carl
  9. Thank you Herman. I guess that between the delayed action off Fogger and Flea/Tick spray, my problem might be solved...have not seen a bug since the 20th. Could also be that they died of old age! I also spread some powder tide on floor ( accident), if tide can make things go boom and clean cloths, I suppose it will also get rid of bugs...I'll try that in the garage when I get home. I'm currently freezing on a ranch between Ingram & Mountain Home, Texas...the ground around my bus is white! My beetle was gray! Thanks all. Carl
  10. Thank you for pics! Been wanting to do the same with mine. I currently use the normal set up, but want to put in full skid plates and can't do it. Where did you install the lights and brake connections, also safety cables? Carl
  11. I agree with State & National Parks, also most RV Parks. With a Jeep Wrangler 2 door as my toad, I'm at or slightly over the 65' limit in Texas, but each State has their own length limits. Anyone who has a 45' and a truck is beyond the 65'! A Staker trailer, has a different hook up for towing and attaches to a ball on back off bus. A 20 footer would be about 67' to 68'. Stakers are also close to the same height of bus. The down side is that they are heavy, expensive and triple axel. Unless you plan on staying in a Park for less than 3 months at a time, I would not bother. You really need 2 sites and both of them pull-thru. I have never had a problem with 4 wheels down and don't need a pull-thru! Good luck on full timing. Carl
  12. Sorry! I miss read it. Herman is right. Good luck Carl
  13. Both of mine are due this month. This years inspection sticker will be good for 9 months....I feel cheated! Carl
  14. I have a Kwiki and can get to motor and electrical under step. Have to remove 2 screws first, What kind do you have? Carl
  15. Thanks Rich, I'll give it a try and let you know! Found a beetle on bed...
  16. Anyone have a safe fogger for RV? I have a tree beetle and "dog tick" problem in bus. I set off a fogger last Saturday and aired out bus Sunday. Have not seen the beetle but have ticks still alive! I'm leaving later today for a couple of weeks. Carl
  17. It's been informative! Would love to see the end result with pictures? I also have thought about wood or cork flooring, since I travel with a shedding dog, rug is not an option. Tile gets hard on an old body and kneeling down is painful! Best of luck. Carl
  18. Last time we heard from Powerstroke was December 2013! Enough said Carl
  19. I just got my bill for the annual State of Texas tag...$ 782, here it's based on weight not value. Also, we have a brand new law on Safety Inspection, you need one this year before you apply for State Tag...next year, it's 90 days before State! Law went into effect January 15, 2015. Carl
  20. Lot of wine=very dry mouth and commode hugging...
  21. Thank you Brett...to many acronyms to remember! Carl
  22. I'll let you know. The fixtures was installed in '96 by original builder, I got house in '07. Carl
  23. I must be brain dead, but what does FCOC stand for? Carl
  24. Anybody know how to test the ballast? I have 12 doubles, 8 foot fixtures brand new in my garage and only 2 work. I have smacked and turned them around. Carl
  25. Invisabrake, works for me and on my jeep, it's mounted in a plastic, water proof box under the hood. Carl
