  1. I have a Kwiki and can get to motor and electrical under step. Have to remove 2 screws first, What kind do you have? Carl
  2. Thanks Rich, I'll give it a try and let you know! Found a beetle on bed...
  3. Anyone have a safe fogger for RV? I have a tree beetle and "dog tick" problem in bus. I set off a fogger last Saturday and aired out bus Sunday. Have not seen the beetle but have ticks still alive! I'm leaving later today for a couple of weeks. Carl
  4. It's been informative! Would love to see the end result with pictures? I also have thought about wood or cork flooring, since I travel with a shedding dog, rug is not an option. Tile gets hard on an old body and kneeling down is painful! Best of luck. Carl
  5. Last time we heard from Powerstroke was December 2013! Enough said Carl
  6. I just got my bill for the annual State of Texas tag...$ 782, here it's based on weight not value. Also, we have a brand new law on Safety Inspection, you need one this year before you apply for State Tag...next year, it's 90 days before State! Law went into effect January 15, 2015. Carl
  7. Lot of wine=very dry mouth and commode hugging...
  8. Thank you Brett...to many acronyms to remember! Carl
  9. I'll let you know. The fixtures was installed in '96 by original builder, I got house in '07. Carl
  10. I must be brain dead, but what does FCOC stand for? Carl
  11. Anybody know how to test the ballast? I have 12 doubles, 8 foot fixtures brand new in my garage and only 2 work. I have smacked and turned them around. Carl
  12. Invisabrake, works for me and on my jeep, it's mounted in a plastic, water proof box under the hood. Carl
  13. Floorit. The original question is laying down wood flooring and with or without vapor barrier. That has been answered. All the rest is TMI. Carl
  14. My renewal will be 11-7-2015. Just got my License plate renewal $ 752, that's a real bummer! Carl
  15. If I lived on the Cape or most other small areas of New England, I would also have a coach less than 36 foot. Province town or Wellfleet is not for the faint of heart. I don't normally take mine to the house, due to small, narrow roads in my subdivision. However, I put on 13-15,000 miles a year and I would not trade the ride for anything! I only ran across one RV park this year, that I was too big for, in Eugene, OR. Also, I fuel up (150 gal.) in truck stops. Good Luck & Happy New Year! Carl
  16. Ladder mount has worked for me. Also, have 2 suction cups with "S" hooks for mounting on inside of front window when parked! Carl
  17. I had Progressive and got Blue Sky in November...saved me over $ 800 on same coverage (Blue Sky don't have TV Commercials) I got tired of paying for Flo! My Toad is with USAA. Carl
  18. Vapor barrier may not be a requirement, but it wouldn't hurt, since the coach moves and spills happen. Quite often you bring in moisture with the slides or you have a high humidity environment. Happy New Year! Carl
  19. Vettehead, What make and year coach do you have? One of your concerns is getting the height right or you'll have problems with your slide-outs! Herman has a valid point. Please keep sharing.
  20. American Coach is also owned by ASV and built in Decatur, Indiana. I took a gamble on a used 2010 Tradition and fell that it paid off. After looking at the new Tradition, Eagle and Heritage in Redmond, I agree with Ray. The new ones offer a lot of fluff, but not much else for the price and there is not enough difference in the models for me to want a new one. Also, I'm not a big fan of DEF, my engine is a 09 on a 09 chassis....my 10 came out in Jan. of 2010.
  21. LOL...perhaps you should take Herman's advise! 1/2 a 5mg Valium should keep him "happy" !
  22. Roy, FMCA offers them. That is all we had available until they also offered vinyl.
  23. Happy New Year, y'all! Having read nothing further about Tuffy, I guess it's enjoying the ride south!!
  24. Black Ranch RV Park also has a truck stop and restaurant. The only problem with 95 is mostly a one lane road with dips! I prefer Toms route. I take Hwy. 285 whenever I go to Ruidoso, NM...I-10W to Ft. Stockton. Have been on every other road in Texas and that is the best and fastest way from San Antonio or Houston! Have a safe New Year!
  25. LOL. I got the metal, all I need is a little touch up paint.
