  1. Is that a crack on the 2', last picture?
  2. Is this a Foretravel? If so what year?
  3. Progressive is OK...I only have liability with them now, but when I had full (Dum me) coverage, they did pay and I had no problem with them. Fuzzy math...comprehensive/ collision for 5 years = $7300+, 1 front windshield in 5 years = $1,800+! They bet that there is no claim, I agree with them ! The money sits in a nice interest bearing account in my name, not theirs & I don't have to pay for Flo! Now, that only works, if you don't have a bank loan, with the coach as collateral.
  4. Since I started this. I might bring everything up to date. July 11th I have to be back in TX., Then I will leave for a pre rally visit to Springfield, PA. Got a feeling, I'll be advised from there. Thank you. Carl
  5. Besides affordable housing, what else does HUD stand for? First free Mobil phones, now DP's?
  6. Bet you got the oysters at Smith Point...dealer there does around 36 ,18 wheelers a week in season. Now their in a big legal battle.
  7. Flying J=2.799 x 2.5=6.999...
  8. I have yet to figure out what roads to take to MA. this summer. I do not want I-95 or I-75, guess I'll go to a friend in Ashville first, then figure it out.
  9. Kay. The land of the Concord Mine! Where do you get a 14 cu. ft. box freezer that runs on battery's?
  10. Bill. Like me, not trying to beat the Jonses. Very happy with what I got also!
  11. Mine is a 09' engine on a 09' chassis, December. Coach was built in January 2010. Close call. I use DPF. I have had a DP that required DEF....got .06 more mpg than current coach! It was an 11' coach with a 450 Cummins 37' !
  12. Nice thing about being retired and having a RV, is that I take my own sweet time from point A to B. I have been both routes and I made a promise to my self that I would avoid Akron at all cost, if possible....what may be an OK road to a trucker, not so to us. I feel that I have left parts of 3 perfectly good DP's in Ohio! I only average about 325 miles per day.
  13. I have a Big Rig Campground Directory. Cost me $25 at CW....total waste of $$$. Tried it in CA. they had one 90 foot space, occupied by owner!!
  14. So much for another mouse trap.
  15. That's a new one, never heard of it. Do you remember where you saw it?
  16. Bill. Next time your in Florida, go look at a new Liberty Coach....they have no clue what vinyl is! You got $$$ they got any kind of leather you can think about. Same with Marathon and Newell....that's what you get for 7 figures!
  17. Bill. Hang in there! We have all had some deletion of late!
  18. Time to talk to another salesman! All diesel engines from 2010 to present have a DEF system, most DP RV's have a 11 or 13 gallon DEF tank and it's set up to deliver a pre set amount. I had it on a 2011 Allegro Bus and it held about 9 gal. of which I would use about 6 gal. of DEF for about 4,000 miles of travel (150 gal. fuel tank). DEF cost about $3,50 gal. You don't want to run lower than a 1/4 of tank. Due to the way my DEF tank was constructed, I only got 9 in an 13 gal. tank.
  19. I have the Sterling and it's now on the 3rd. DP. No problems at all and each time I'm at a FMCA Rally, Roadmaster personnel come and service my system for free. Last service was at Perry, GA.! The only thing I have replaced is the cable, twice, not for any visual reason, it's just something I do. I have had other systems over the past 30 years and their all good, I just prefer Roadmaster!
  20. Rich. Good article, in plain simple English. Thanks. Carl
  21. FIVE. Know how you feel. Have lot's of pics, but no clue how to transfer over to member gallery! Maybe in my second childhood, these things will be possible!
  22. Wayne. Don't sell yourself short. You and Tman said the same thing in about the same manner....10% good rule....KISS works!
  23. FIVE. Why did you buy it to begin with? Mine don't last years...about 5 months.
