Ernie. All of the Bluebird MH line is out of business, but like Country Coach or Beaver, there are most likely parts in stock somewhere, at BB manufacturing plant, since their still building Commercial vehicles! Carl

Thank you, Herman, I needed a good laugh this am! It happened in another coach, when I used the floor for calibration...but, you knew that !

Joe, try low 30's with a wind! Remember where we live, I'm sub tropical. Carl

Joe, totally submerge head in CLR for about 10 minutes....I use it at house. I got a round quart Glad container, hole on each side and string, it hangs. In coach I use a Zip lock bag. After 10 min, remove container and turn on water, if not completely un clogged repeat. You can also use Vinegar or HP 3%. Carl

Wallee. I'm surprised that you took most of our "joking around", seriously ! I know a lot of Canadians, and thin skin is not part of their persona. As Herman said, we know and respect the laws of Canada, but this whole tread got started by some one who apparently didn't ! You need to lighten up some, if you know anything about folks from Texas, "scared" is not part of our vocabulary ! Speaking about LAWS, why would anyone want to take an apple into the US? Thank you for sending your Gees down once a year, they make a great stew ! Carl

Agree with Bill. Have your VIN # and FIN # available. Carl

Is Legal Documentation Required For Pets When Traveling?
manholt replied to RochelMontijano's topic in Pets
In regards to "normal" pets, like a dog or cat, I always carry the annual record of shots, in the event of boarding or going to Canada. FMCA to my knowledge, has always welcomed our pets as long as we pick up after them. I'm currently looking for a new dog, mine passed last year! If your "pet" is some type of exotic animal, then it would be controlled by local ordinance. -
Ray. I'm glad your still posting on other subjects on this Forum! Keep it up, your input is appreciated. Carl

Oneway. Hope your high and dry, somewhere. This Storm system is producing wind gusts in excess of 60+ mph...careful ! Have a good trip home. Carl
-
When I level mine with air or jacks, I place my level on counter top, not floor...I have used floor before and had butter in a fry pan go towards front of coach. Carl

Dawn Dish Soap In Black Water Tank
manholt replied to bizsmith@yahoo.com's topic in Water and Holding Tanks
In Perry, I had 1/4 full on black tank, toilet read full, could not flush my electric, macerator, Dometic Sea/Land toilet. Added a 1/2 cup Palmolive dish soap and 1/2 cup Calgon along with about 10 minutes of back flushing. Then opened valve and emptied black tank. Before leaving Perry, GA. for Texas, I added the same as before, my black tank is now 1/2 full and I will dump it tomorrow...toilet has worked every time since! I had various foot flush and hand flush RV toilets over 45 years, before this electric flush, and used soap with half a bag of ice cubes to clean black tank when rolling down Hwy and never had a problem! About every 3 months I would add some lubricant by Tethford, never have replaced a seal or knife valve. There is no PD in dish liquid that I know off, nor in Calgon. KISS.. Carl -
Joe. Google "Motorhomes of Texas", they have the perfect coach for you, a 45' Newell with no slides to keep your DW happy! Carl

Thank you for volunteering your time! You had a great teacher! Carl

Rochel. Welcome to the Forum! Your correct, but if David is my age (73) he may not be inclined to get on roof. Last time I touched the roof, was 26 years ago! I have my roof inspected each year, never a charge unless they do work on it. $900 to re seal is way excessive...I had all off mine done 3 years ago, when I got this coach and it was $613.46. I currently have a leak! But it only happens in rain like NE Texas had 2 weeks ago! Safe travels Carl

Hate to blow his DW's bubble...I don't think she has a clue as to what a Custom coach cost ! She hates slide outs.

I, like Brett, left at 08:30 and had no problems at all with traffic...just toad! There is a rule that I forgot. When your hooking up toad to coach, do not stop and answer questions!!! EVER. I did and forgot to place Jeep in "N"! Drug it about 100 yards. Got that taken care of, then I was so rattled and embarrassed (coaches behind me) that I forgot to shut off engine! It was a cold morning, so when I got out of area and onto South road, I saw exhaust, where there should be none, pulled over on shoulder, sort off, and turned of Jeep! I took I-75N to Atlanta and saw 3 coaches, passed one and the other 2 blew passed me, Newell's! Bill. I Goggled Department of Texas and LA Hwy's., to see what parts where still closed or maybe open. I-10 E & W at Orange, TX. was expected to be open 3/21. On 3/20 traffic was still being diverted onto LA 27S to 82W via Holly Beach to Sabin Pass Bridge to 83. Then you could take Hwy 83N to Beaumont, TX. or Hwy 73W to Winnie. TX. Then re join I-10! That is the last detour, you ever want to take in a coach, of any kind!!! Oil Field roads for the past 60+ years and only been re surfaced twice, that I know about! More storm damage in the past 15 years, that took those roads under salt water! I would rather detour to Canada and back, before taking 27 & 82 ! Carl

ObedB. Is your driver side electric or HWH? Mine is HWH and when I let it out, there is a max point where it will drop down on outside and up inside. Stop it there and you should see rollers, mine are 6" long. each side of roller has an adjustment nut...not easy to get too! On my Allegro Bus, you could get to roller when slide was all the way out...a friend took as much pressure off of roller as he could, using a crow bar and I tightened the nut...my problem was too much play, so while driving it sounded like a jack hammer, in coach ! When I called Tiffin, their solution was to place a piece of rug or towel under the offending roller! If yours is electric, I have no clue! Sorry. Carl
