  1. George. Welcome to the Forum! I think you'll find out that your trip from Las Vegas to Denver, will be no different than from Phoenix to Grand Canyon. No matter which road you take to GC, you'll be going over mountain passes and up/down mountains! If you take it easy and watch the weather you'll have a great time no matter the RV you drive! Enjoy the US, just as I enjoy Canada! Carl
  2. Gary. I use a pressure washer on my coach when I wash it once per year! Just stay further away from the work on sensitive areas or turn the pressure down! Carl
  3. Artic Cat comes to mind! Or if you want try a $750K Earth Roamer! Not even sure if that would do it...I have seen them in Colorado, Europe and S. America, in summer! Carl
  4. Tried to open and got an OPS! Then tried download, gave up when it said 4 minutes! That's more file than I need! Carl
  5. You would have had a few more "bumps" had you posted. "Toured all over the north and Cambodia during 68-70", 6 years ago! That was classified until 2010, some of it may still be! Thank you all for writing a blank check & Service! Carl
  6. Changed oil and filters on a DP after 5,000 miles?
  7. Vanha. If you take it out, why not replace it with plastic? Then drill some small holes for drainage....that's what I have! Carl
  8. grmtrad. Have you charged your batteries by a external charger, if not do it. Then see if Inverter works as intended. Carl

Thanks, Joe. Can't be the weather, so got to be "short DW" or work! Will miss you at wine, beer, crackers and cheese party's..... Carl
  10. kihei7. Welcome to the Forum! I'm happy that your happy! Now, proof is in the pudding-- will they do the same next time? Or on a big ticket item? How much was the policy to begin with? What year and make is your coach? Safe travels and enjoy the whole off North America! Carl
  11. FIVE. In FL. during the 80's and 90's I ran into it a lot. I call that the "Snob" era! Now, very seldom about A, B, or C...length and DP or gas? Yes, often! Still mostly in FL. Carl
  12. Have to agree with Frank....we do abuse the Jeep! That's half the fun...Since mine is way off the grid, it does no good to make a report to Jeep! Like getting one by AEV, who do you report a Jeep part failure too? Carl
  13. I'm surprised that anyone still has a NOCOLD in their units? It really belongs in the cellar of a RV museum some where! Rays got to stay!!! My best friend is 5' 8", so he claims, and DW is 5' 2"....she comes to my waist line! You should see us dance, I feel like putting her on a table! They both claim to be normal! Carl
  14. Leak in fluid line, or fitting comes to mind! Take it to another shop, would help if we knew where your at now! Carl
  15. This sounds so much easier and cheaper than messing with packed bearings! Now on my must do list for peace of mind! Carl

Herman. Thanks for the tip. If I remember correctly, your leaving for Perry today and I'm heading out Saturday.. stay safe! Carl
  17. Oneway. I cruise on RCI an average of 12 weeks a year and rule no.1 is do not leave out of NJ in winter! Way too many Northeasters! My next cruise is a 16 day Trans Atlantic from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Denmark. You'll have better luck getting someone at TCC after 9:30am...ask for Ray! Carl
  18. roblaura. Sounds wonderful. Have you looked at the American Coach 39A? Carl
  19. Leary. LOL, that is one "BIG" dog! I have never been asked about that one....I had a 42# mixed breed for 15+ years and put her down last July...if I was not 73, I would love to have a Flanders or it could have me! If I remember, avg. female 120#, avg. male 140#! Great temperament around pretty near everyone and everything! Carl

    Hello

Tiny houses, are what the name implies. Think of it as a very small and short Mobile home! They really have nothing in common with a trailer, other than an axle or two! Ditto for me Bill. Carl
  21. Joe. You have some lingering cop attitude? Lots of my friends do! Understandable and it only takes a life time to get completely rid of.... Your doing well. I thought you would have "blown" a long time ago! Carl
  22. Herman & Bill. Since mine did not come with any records, that is the reason I just blew $3,400+ at Cummins, glad I did! Still have Aqua Hot and brakes that TCC will do in April/May while I'm in Europe. Bearings will be changed over to oil bath...thank you for that info! Carl
  23. On a gas rig, I would invest in the Banks system and have 3 times! It didn't help my mph all that much, but it did improve my speed up the long, long hills of AZ, CA and OR. Also kept my engine cooler in the desert sun! Carl
  24. FIVE. Watching toad is good...no fun, when you don't see it! Even less when it's passing you... Carl
  25. Oneway, I remember your first post. Sorry that your having this problem! I would call both places. I only have experience with Texas Custom Coach, last month, my post is on this Forum...very happy with work and price! They can fix anything or build you a brand new coach! They do gas/DP's/5th or custom horse trailers ($250K+) make you wish you had a horse... $38K is pathetic! Carl
