  1. If it has to do with bills, I would pay a couple of months ahead and for Mortgage, RV payment and any other "big" bills, call them and find out how to do bank transfer over Internet. Same with credit cards. 6 weeks is not long! Carl
  2. I will try that this week at campground! Carl
  3. Hi, Brett, I have an on/off switch in coach. Have tried it and only in the on position will the heater work, off and no heater when plugged in. So yes, I plug it in when I arrive. If I need it, I just throw the switch. Carl
  4. You got a pic of your coach...ask Puff how he does it! Prevost? Good luck! You wont be retiring any time soon! Carl
  5. Ancira RV is back in Boerne, TX. and MHS in Alvarado, TX. got all off Ancira Alvarado Coaches via REV group that used to be Allied group! Confused? So am I ! MHS is having a Blow Out Sale! I'm really tempted to trade mine for a 2016 Tradition 43'...$40K difference looks pretty good. We will see, I have until 2/15 to think about it! Service in Texas!!! Carl
  6. Welcome to the Forum! Where in Arizona? What size Motorhome?
  7. I-40 from Memphis to Oklahoma City is a wash board (rough). Then good to Amarillo, great RV Resort in Vega (5 miles W off Amarillo). Was there last September. Big Tex is like Wall's Drug Store, you got to do it once...Spring, nice! Weather in Texas = rain, sleet, snow, ice, wind storm, all in one day! Going from Amarillo South to I-20 via Lubbock in winter, is no walk in the park either! This time off year, I-10 from Van Horn, TX. to Lordsburg, NM is subject to Dust Storms and Lordsburg to Benson, AZ is subject to Snow Storms, especially Texas Canyon! Carl
  8. Puff. I left a comment on your blog. What do you carry that's light weight to give proper height off ground for proper drainage? Wood is heavy!
  9. Ok. What about the 100 gal. fresh water tank? That's a lot of HP 3%!
  10. In winter, I plug mine in when I get to campground, just in case I need it. This time of year, I only go to rally's, 4/5 days in Texas! I also use the anti-gel. Then I follow Brett's advice!
  11. jbrunson. Don't know what you have now, or what your looking for, but if I lived in Troy, I would go to Tiffin in Red Bay, Al. From what I hear, Tiffin has got their act together again! They had a lot of problems in 2011 and I got caught in the middle... That said, I would buy again from Bob again. Carl
  12. How did Nashville enter the picture? I agree with Bill, your just fishing Roland. Buy Carl
  13. Right on! Every year, in Spring for me.., I prefer Bromide! Carl
  14. Yea, not to be done all in one day or week! I would replace all wet batteries! Un Official rule...Peace of Mind!!! Carl
  15. I got the same system now. The only problem is how to keep it off the ground and proper angle for max. drainage! Not big on carting rocks or wood around, due to weight! So what else can one use, that's light and stable? The only thing that comes to mind, is plastic leveling blocks (stackable). Carl
  16. For me it's time to bite the bullet. Belts, coolant, cleaning the CAC and fan. change oil and filters on generator! As far as engine oil is concerned, I do it every 16,000 miles or once a year, whichever comes first. Also, what is the age of your tires? Never mind the tread, go by DOT# and check for hair line cracks on sidewall. 6 to 8 years and you need new tires! You don't need to go to Spartan...I use Cummins Coach Care! Become a member of Cummins Power Club and save 10%. Travel safe Carl
  17. Power glide is serviced by Freightliner!
  18. If there is no water, then take a house and attach to cold water in laundry room...ask manager first, before moving coach! Then fill up water tank. A little effort for comfort and a happy DW ! Carl
  19. Inspection on Jeep, $25.00, Coach $7.00 Lic. plate, Jeep $62.00, Coach $822.25 Texas goes by weight and DMV made a typo of 56,000# on mine! I'm still battling and have sent all papers to Austin...maybe they will send me a refund? Not!! Carl
  20. Puff. I try hard the first time! At 6' 8", going under a slide is always painful...so. if I forget something that I can't live without, I pull the slide back in! Carl
  21. I would get with Norman, It's a "pass it on" thing that we do! Carl
  22. There will be plenty of WCC at Perry! Just pray for sun! Soggy cheese and crackers are no joy!
  23. Joe. I bought a used 97' Allegro from PPL in 02'...nice, pleasant experience! Very professional. Patron, welcome to the Forum! Not the first time I've heard good things about RV World of GA.! Carl
