  1. I had a 1987 Bart, with a 454 full injection system. Biggest problem was lugging, back fire and fuel filters, I carried several in the bay! POS since the coach was custom ordered and built.
  2. We don't have enough "out side the box" thinking! Richard. Sad, but unless someone in EB have come up with this idea...it's not going anywhere! I can only think of 2 (one comes on Forum periodically), that would like your idea, but I don't think they can do much until after National Convention next Summer!
  3. Welcome to the Forum! I agree with all of the above. Richard brought up a good point. Between the time the coach left the factory, got to dealer and the 4 months you have been on the road, any electric connection that was not properly torqued, will be loss. Unlike a house, we are a rolling earthquake and we operate on 3 different electrical systems! If your not comfortable working with AC and DC, take it to your Dealer, Factory or NIRVC in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Dallas or Atlanta, the Nashville Shop won't be open until Spring. You can also go to Spartan! Having a new coach warranty, use it.
  4. About right, best I could figure $420+! Paid off a $19,000+ balance...now we use one Visa, one Master Card & one AE.
  5. It was probably sent to the dealer! Herman, we had 16 spaces and it's been filled last we heard.
  6. Since March, we have over 10k on coach and leaving for New Iberia, La. in the morning, a week of Cajun food + the Fete (BBQ'd and grilled whole pork festival)! We'll be back the 18th, then if the parts are in, we will go to NIRV in Lewisville (By Dallas). How Coach will travel. We will be in Florida for the Tampa RV Super Show in Jan 2021. Rayn, La. for Mardi grass with Crusin Cajuns in Feb. Same with AIM in March. Crusin Cajuns Crawfish Rally in April. NIRV Rally in OK City in May. Late May to July 8 in Cortez, CO. Then on to Alaska! We don't care if we have COVID-19 or 20...One life, live it.
  7. Linda, my DW renewed 3 years at $79.95...she has always done platinum. She has a Good Sam Visa Card and used some of her 420,000+ points. I paid the card off last month and it will no longer be used (in very, very small print...no cash back, must be used for GS products only)!
  8. We have well water for house, therefor the need for WS. We got the WS for coach, so we could fill up our fresh water tank in the garage or outside faucet. Currently building a new garage for current coach, it's 60' x 30' x 18' high inside, all metal. I'll use the other one for guest. The height was to low for this one and only 40' deep! Joe would fit nicely, so would Herman.
  9. Joe, I think we all miss understood you! We are talking Coach or RV water softener (that's what we do on the Forum), not a whole house! Our house system is several thousand dollars and it takes 40# bags!
  10. Surprised you didn't join Good Sam! Just for the Roadside Service...AAA offers the same and so does Coach Net. Your insurance policy on RV and toad or puller, RA is included in the payments!
  11. We have SkyMed. Just signed up and paid for another 3 year member ship! The way it works. If you need them, then you make all payments by credit card (CC providers know that 100% of charges will be paid back by SkyMed within 8 weeks)! Our CC is a Visa, that can only be used for SkyMed. Unfortunately, some folks don't bother to read or ask questions about a policy, before they need to use it and that's when you have problems!!!
  12. CornerStone has been in the warranty business, since 1973, headquarters in Hickory, NC & London, ON, Canada! I used them in the 1990's on both of my "Blue Water race boats!" Never had a claim refused. What make, model, year coach or RV, do you have? What claim did they turn down?
  13. Todays Entegra is the resurrection of Travel Supreme, but now owned by Thore!
  14. Joe, ours does and we add in 2 table salt (Iodine Free) containers....lasts for 4,000 gallons, that's twice a year for us! With rebate it cost around $250, when full it will weigh 68 lbs.
  15. Bill, since he's on Forum, he lives! Other than that, know one seems to know...
  16. Your speedometer is air controlled, check the L fitting for leak, it's made of plastic!
  17. I have found that what tireman recommends, is not written in stone! It all depends on load and temp, nothing is constant and if your at 115 psi + 10% = 126.5 psi, that's 1.5 psi over the max cold tire pressure! As you drive, your tire psi will increase, how much depends on several factures, but basically it's outside ambient temp, road surface temp, humidity...I use 5% in Summer and 7% in winter! My coach, when we are on the road, average weight is 63,500+/- lbs + toad. I run 365/80/22.5 steer axel at 115 psi, 315/80 on drive at 100 psi and same on tag! My liquid cap is 200 fuel, 140 fresh water (normally 80%), empty gray & blake (80/60). That is the tires that Spartan use on their K3 chassis! My CCC is 71,000 lbs! In 54 years and 18 Class A's, I've had 3 blowouts! That was before radial tires and all 3 was front right.
  18. Depends upon the year/model. Google Silverleaf for your model or call them for instruction. I have a control box in a bay, with a on/off switch, my coach is all electric and everything from chassis sensors to house is controlled by the Silverleaf...not an easy learning curve! Yours is much simpler design.
  19. Inverter/charger must be set for the type of battery you installed. FLA or AGM. Have you tried a hard start on your SilverLeaf?
  20. 19 years old...got your $$$ worth!
  21. Eagle eye Ray! Joe, unscrew the CB and look on other side.
  22. Loose wire or bad ground. Is it a toggle or rocker?
