  1. Jim S. I totally agree. My 09' Jeep W. had to be disconnected, now on my 13' I just put it in neutral and park, key in pocket. Had no idea about Jeep forum, makes sense!
  2. Does "Big Brother" still control GM ? Perhaps they have a Engineering Czar!? My 07' Chevy 3/4 ton Duramax Silverado tows at the push of 2 buttons...now trying to get rid off a 10,000 # Blue Ox system. Overkill with Jeep W.
  3. Ray, I have a built in surge guard and a portable for post...the thing that I found on my Summer travel is that some of the time, the post and outlet was too close to the ground and I could not use the portable guard! Also, the portable is heavy, expensive, long & large and you have to wait for it!
  4. Like. Thanks Brett...I'm ordering in am! Too bad you don't have stock (I don't either)....I will if it goes public!!
  5. My 2 cents worth! I think that all mid to high end DP manufacturers out there, should take notice of 2 things. We spend a lot of money on these units and we expect...QUALITY and SERVICE.
  6. No. But, I have had great success with the green wafers you can get at any feed store. I'm in house so I don't have the name handy. Just ask for the mouse wafers...you break them up and place where ever you want...works! Less than $ 5.00 Luck.
  7. Is it a gas furnace or Aqua Hot? As Bill requested, we need more information. Thank you and good luck.
  8. I went from a 32' to a 40', that was good. Then a 40' to a 36', wrong. Then 36' to a 45', great! I have only been turned away 1 time due to size and have found no roads that was impossible to negotiate. Got my current 45' last year November 21st and now have 16,476 miles on it, that I put on! You will enjoy the ride!!!
  9. Thank you, Ray. My black valve has been getting harder to pull, so now I will replace it....I hope!
  10. Moonbeam. Welcome to the forum. I have never heard of a "Swin" motor home or trailer! Did you mean "Southwind"? If so, get in touch with Fleetwood, they may have a manual. As for levelers, I'm guessing they are HWH, you'll find them on internet. How long is this coach? Gas ? Good luck.
  11. School? Try Ulf Manholt, had it for 5 years, until I became a US Citizen and legally changed my name! I was 10 when I got here and 16 when I changed it....
  12. JM You may look me up, I'll be parked with ACC at FMCA Reunion next summer! Wish your friend luck and you Happy Holidays!
  13. JM. Just for giggles, thank you! Being a retired, Oil Field trash, engineer. I have no problem with the system, but we are talking DP that we will call an Apple and the ships as an Orange. I have a Macerator Toilet and a 60 gallon poop tank with very limited room to add anything else ( also, I can't poop enough in 3-4 days to warrant the expense). A ship or even a boat that is big enough to have a head with a liquid holding tank, has all kinds off room for your unit. A ship, unless it's an inter Island, already have their own waste water recycling system for both gray and black, the gray is recycled back into system for showers and flushing...the black is ejected at port. That also goes for cruise ships! I travel alone and my dog don't use the head! I dump (when in a campground) the gray every 3-4 days (100 gallon tank) and black about 10 days. As Ray, Herman and Bill....I'll pass.
  14. That "Big Pool", is a love it and hate it relationship! From July to November each year....think Ike! It's surprising that 48 miles, can make such a big difference in the weather....whenever I have to leave the Island and go to Texas, I Google the weather! As Herman said, come and enjoy our hospitality!
  15. ObedB, I have 8 XZA's...2 in front are 315, rest 295. Brand new 18 August 2014 in Oregon.
  16. Thinking, "Snake Oil" in Texas is a common thing! This concept is suppose to be GREEN and I can't understand how it can be that, when the process is spewing sewage into the air! Also, he mentioned boon-docking, that would mean starting the engine every week and letting it fast idle all day long....I wonder how long my Cummins would last? Yep. Ray, I'm with you on this one!
  17. JMGolden. He's your friend...why don't you be the tester? Sure would be nice if you gave a tad more information. Besides that, why does it not work on a gas unit? Me thinks, Ray has the answer!!
  18. Welcome to the forum! Went into one in Redmond, OR, inside is totally different from original, but real nice! Good luck camping.

LOL. Thanks for help...I'm in a cave, when it has to do with computers and phones!
  20. Up date: Per AMC Tech. there is a plug under a removable cover, under bed that you un-plug and wait about 10 seconds ( it resets the computer board) then re-plug. It worked. No more blinking lights! Problem solved... Isn't high tech wonderful? Carl C. 10' AMC Tradition 45'

Well Brett, guess I'm a computer dummy...I still don't see on the bottom of page "name, type of RV, tow, etc."! How did you get all your info to show up in light blue at end off a posting? Carl C.
  22. We are suppose to start getting an El Ninjo weather pattern this winter....so, a little cooler and wetter than most, however I would still go with Brett for a guideline. Bring an umbrella. Southeast Texas is a crap shoot, anytime!
