I well remember taking the Holly Carb apart & cleaning...The days of KISS in engines, is long gone now! On a gas Gen it's still fairly simple, look it up on the web...plenty of films. As Rich wrote, remove and cut filter to see what's been trapped. Microns of rust/dust will make a carb useless!

Or too much Ethanol in the gas, it deteriorates rubber and seals, just like to high a Bio mix in diesel.

We just had this problem, the ground wire was cut 1/2" to short...we just replaced it with a new wire and kept a 2" loop in it.

The longest coach trailer combo I have ever seen, was at the Houston Livestock Show BBQ cook off. A custom built tractor/trailer/trailer combo off 143'...full living quarters for 12, totally self contained, you could walk from tractor to back trailer, both trailers was a complete BBQ unit...each unit could feed 2,500! It was built and owned by Shriner's International (at that time it was Shriner's of North America) to cook and feed the first responders of 9/11/01.

Ian, wish you luck. When you get into La. try to stay at Cajun Palm RV Resort, Exit 115 off I-10...You'll love it, all paved roads, and cement pads, most are pull thru's! $35 per night. Lot's of places to eat within 3 miles of Park & since it's all phone orders and you pick up, you save about a third from eat in restaurant, part. All menus and prices are on line, since they don't know if your local or not, it's all good eats! We where there last night...Now where in Lake Charles, La. waiting out a storm! txtiger, you can get a 43+ foot coach in a NP camp ground? Where?

We enjoy fishing and golf. Have found that most States don't try to make a living off of us. We generally get a 2 week or more, if we're 4 wheeling...some great lakes & streams in the back country! Otherwise it's 3 days or a week! Mostly we do catch & release, unless we need a couple of Trout for dinner. I would like to have automatic right, to fish in National Parks and BLM Land, with my "Old Geezer" Pass! Also, State Parks, with my entry fee!

I have to agree with you, Brett. Especially after Joe L's experience with bad fuel about 3 years ago.

In the past 2 weeks, we have been in a RV Park for 4 days in Texas, one night in Monroe, La. the rest, 10 miles south of Wiggins, Miss and now at Cajun Palms Resort, Henderson, La. No problems with food or other supplies and have yet to find a closed RV Park. Tomorrow, we'll be staying in Schulenburg, Tx. then home! docj. If you have as many cases World wide of Corona as we have in just the USA every year of the flu, then yes 1% would be devastating! Shortage of Hospital beds in Italy, is just a part of the problem...hygiene is the other part.

Rich, that's the part I was not thinking of...what we all take for granted, even in high ambient temp, there is a delay and the lower the outside temp, the longer the delay! On OP's 7.5 it is recommended that you press on the off side of switch you'll hear the fuel pump prime the engine, then press gen on until it starts...make sure there is "no load" on!

As per OP, 22 hrs ago, there is plenty of teeth on fly wheel and non missing, as he could tell. Said he had Solenoid on top of starter! No drop in voltage What are we missing? Fuel in lines, no air? bad fuel filter...I'm reaching!

Basically it was a sham, as said we had no shortage of our own oil/Gas or refineries...but we had that dammed Underdeveloped Nations Bill. From what I remember, we had to shut down our spigot and refine Saudi Oil...Once Oil hits the refinery, you can't tell where it comes from, but you do know how much Diesel & regular Gas you get per barrel of crude. All of it had to be shipped back to Saudi, since at that time they did not have their own refineries.

Wayne. Simple, Trump did not renew the Uhelp bill of 1964, that caused us to buy Saudi Oil, bring it here for refinement and give it back to them for free! We where also oil dependent...No longer, we have the biggest untapped reserves in the world...We never had a shortage of oil. Remember the Oil embargo of 1973? Since Saudi didn't want to back off...we told them fine, we'll stop drilling and tear up the contract...they have played nice since!
